"Sprout! I have the cookie batter ready!" Cosmo says, walking towards him.
“Perfect timing, ovens preheated!” Sprout replies.
Cosmo walks backward to Sprout, trying to tell the other toons that the cookies would be ready soon.
Unknowingly he walks close to the open oven, tripping on the lid.
Sprout, noticing the chaos about to unfold, catches Cosmo, facefirst into his chest.
This was it, this is my chance. But what if I mess up? Does he even like me?! Sprout thought to himself.
Cosmo, in sprouts arms, looks up. He was blushing and he looked, adorable.
“C-Cosmo, I-I,” Sprout sputtered. “Gosh I can't believe I'm saying this, but…I-I love you.”
Sprout turned his head, trying to hide how flustered he was.
Fuck! That was so bad, I messed up! Sprout thought.
“S-Sprout, Sprout! I love you too…” Cosmo said.
Cosmo turned Sprout’s head to face him, he looked him deep in his eyes.
Sprout, still flustered by the events that just occurred, pulled Cosmo closer and melted into a kiss.
Cosmo’s eyes widened, he didn't know what to do other than to stand there and enjoy the moment.
“Hey sprout,” Cosmo said when pulling back from the kiss. “Maybe we should not do this in front of everyone, we still have to put these cookies in the oven.”
“I guess you’re right, uhh. Well this is kinda embarrassing, I just confessed my love to you in front of all the toons,” Sprout said through his scarf. “Whatever, let's just get this over with, babe.”
Cosmo was surprised by his words, it was normal for this to happen in relationships.
Although this was Cosmo’s first time hearing this, in fact, his first time in a relationship.
“I-I like that,” Cosmo whispered. “I don’t know how to do this though, it’s my first time, even.”
Sprout didn’t say anything, instead he pet Cosmo’s head and walked to the bathroom.
Cosmo snapped back to reality and started cleaning the kitchen and making the cookies.
He took the tray and threw the cookies in the oven, set it to 30 minutes, and prepped the plate.
It had been quite some time and Sprout still hadn’t come back, Cosmo just thought he was contemplating on his choices.
After All, that was pretty embarrassing, but who is he to talk, he made him feel that way.
“Cosmo, sorry I was just getting something. Yeah! Yeah, I was getting something…” Sprout said, walking back in the room.
“Sprout? Is there something else you want to tell me? Something is obviously wrong,” Cosmo said suspiciously.
RING RING RING
“Oh! That's the oven!” Cosmo said. “Freshly baked cookies everyone! Come and get em!”
Cosmo put the pan on the counter, and rang the bell.
Sprout took Cosmo by the shoulder and walked him out the room.
“Should we really be showing ourselves in front of everyone, after that. We should go somewhere more private,” Sprout said.
“Yeah, I guess we should. Your room?” Cosmo said.
“Sounds good,” Sprout replied
