Chapter Text

Memories of what happened yesterday made Luz open her eyes with a shocked look on her face.

Looking around, Luz saw that she was in The Owl House making her gasp in shock.

Wait, if she was in the Owl House, which means...

"It wasn't a dream!" Luz shouted in shock and amazement.

She couldn't believe it; she was in a new world.

And best of all, it was full of magic and demons and witches like Akko and...

Luz gasped and asked, "I wonder if Akko and her friends are awake yet?"

That's right. There are witches here who can do magic, real magic and she couldn't be happier.

Finally, there was proof that humans can do magic, and she could probably join them and become a witch like them.

Just the thought was enough for Luz to get up from her sleeping bag before she kissed King on the head, opened the door, and ran out of her room.

"Morning guys!" Luz shouted in excitement while running downstairs and in the living room before she saw Akko and her friends jolt awake in shock.

"Ah, what happened?!" Hannah asked jolting up from her chair and looked around in shock.

"Oh man," Amanda groaned while sitting up from her sleeping bag. "I had the most stupid and shitty dream where Chloe trapped us in a place called the dem..."

She looked around before she turned to see Luz smiling at her in excitement making her eyes start to twitch in annoyance.

"FUCK!" Amanda screamed out in anger.

"Anyways," Hannah muttered out weakly before she turned to see Akko, Diana, Lotte, Barbara, and Sucy all groaning trying to wake up before turning to see an excited Luz making her raise an eyebrow in confusion. "Why are you up so early in the morning, Luz?"

"And why did you shout for us to wake up?" Sucy asked bitterly before she glared at Luz in anger.

"As much as I usually wake up early in the morning," Diana said with a yawn before she turned to Luz with a questionable eyebrow. "Getting woken up by someone yelling at me is new."

"What Diana is trying to say," Hannah said before she turned to Luz with a questionable look on her face. "Why did you wake us up so damn early in the morning?"

"I want you guys to teach me how to learn magic," Luz said, sounding excited.

It was silent in the living room with people like Diana, Hannah, and Amanda all glaring at Luz, probably too tired to deal with this.

Lotte and Barbara were both looking at Luz with worried looks on their faces.

Sucy had a board look on her face.

Akko, meanwhile, had an excited look on her face and was about to get up and run up to Luz when Diana stopped her in her tracks.

"Akko, it's too early for this," Diana said, sounding tired, making Akko flinch before she turned to Luz and gave a deadpan look on her face. "Luz, I don't know if you remember our talk from yesterday, but we can't do magic. Our batteries in our wands are out due to no sorcerer's stone in the Demon Realm."

"And apparently, even if they brought magic back in our world, the same isn't true here," Hannah grumbled, sounding frustrated and irritated.

"At least I still have my potions," Sucy said with a shrug.

"Yes, Sucy," Amanda said flatly with a nod. "You can do potions. Meanwhile, we're magicless without our wands and brooms."

"Speak for yourself," Sucy said bluntly with the roll of her eyes.

"Anyways," Hannah muttered with the roll of her eyes before she and the other girls turned to see Luz was still smiling, making them start to get worried and confused.

"Uh, Luz," Akko started to say, sounding a little worried. "Are you ok?"

It was silent in the living room with Lotte, Barbara, and Akko having worried looks while Diana, Sucy, Amanda, and Hannah gave frowns.

After a few seconds of silence...

"WHAT!" Luz screeched in exasperation, making Akko and her friends jump in surprise. "B-B-But you said you all were witches yesterday."

"Our batteries don't work," Barbara reminded Luz with a shrug.

"And we can't fly a broom," Amanda added with a frustrated pout.

"B-But that's so unfair!"

"That's what we-"

"You-"

"I've been saying that yesterday!" Hannah shouted in exasperation and frustration with Amanda catching her in her tracks.

Amanda nodded before she and the others turned back to see Luz flinching before she and others turned to see Eda walking down the stairs wearing a pink shirt, a purple shirt that was ripped off a little and rubber ducky slippers while looking tired.

"Ah, what's with all this yelling," Eda said gently with a yawn.

"Yes," Luz said in excitement with her fist in the air. "Eda, you can teach me magic since Akko and her friends are magicless."

"Excuse you!" Hannah shouted, sounding offended.

"It's true, Hannah," Barbara said gently before she shook her head in exasperation.

Akko couldn't help but chuckle before she turned to see Diana start grumbling something with a pout making her start to get worried.

She knew that Diana is all about magic, so being magicless must be a lot for Diana to take in.

With a small sigh, Akko turned to see Eda looking at Luz in confusion with a yawn.

"Who are you again?" Eda asked, sounding tired and confused.

"Huh?" Luz asked, sounding shocked and worried.

"Uh, this won't end well," Amanda said with a smug grin on her face.

"Alright," Diana said with a sigh before she gets up from the couch and stretched her arms out. "Let's all get in the shower and get ready for the day."

"Yeah but, we have no clothes to put on after our showers," Lotte said, sounding worried.

"*Yawn* Yeah, I can handle that," Eda said tiredly with a yawn while making a glowing yellow spell circle from her right hand.

New clothes stacked and folded came to Akko and her friends who all sat up and caught the clothes that fell in their hands making Akko's eyes widen in excitement.

"Cool," Akko muttered with an excited smile on her face.

"Thank you," Diana said gently with a nod before she walked to the stairs and started to find the bathroom.

"Does she ever not be a... *Yawn* What's the word?" Eda asked tiredly while walking to the kitchen, ignoring a confused Luz in the process.

"A stick in the mud," Hannah muttered while getting up from the chair and putting her new clothes on the chair before following Eda and a confused and worried Luz to the kitchen.

Akko, Lotte, Sucy, Amanda, and Barbara all put their clothes on the couch or sleeping bags before they followed Eda and Luz to the kitchen.

Walking in the kitchen, Eda used her magic to float her glowing mug that flew to her right hand while walking forward with Luz and the other girls following behind her.

"So, Miss. Eda," Luz started sounding worried while thanks to Akko and Amanda's help, dodged the floating mug that was flying by them and to Eda's hand.

"Thanks," Luz muttered before she turned to see Akko and Amanda giving a nod with Akko smiling before they all turned back to Eda. "Are you going to teach me and my friends some magic?"

"We know how to use magic," Hannah said with a grumble and her arms crossed over her chest in a huff.

"Hush," Akko muttered before a smile on her face.

Hannah rolled her eyes before she looked away with a huff.

"Kids, it's too early for this," Eda said in a groan while opened the fridge to reveal it was filled with stuff that made Hannah, Barbara, and Lotte want to vomit and grabbed some kind of drink before turning to Luz and the others. "Now, what do you kids want this early in the-"

"AHH!"

"Diana!" Akko, Hannah, and Barbara shouted in shock and worry.

"Hooty, don't scare me like that again!" They heard the door slam shut with Eda giving a shrug.

"Well, blondie's awake," Eda said simply with a shrug before turning back to the other girls. "So, what do you all want?"

"I want you to teach me how to become a witch," Luz said, sounding excited.

"And can we look around the Isles today?" Hannah asked simply with a shrug.

"Maybe we can meet witches our age," Lotte said, sounding hopeful with a smile.

"And see if there's a school where we can learn magic that's different from our world," Barbara said simply with a shrug. "Eda did say that she did go to school yesterday on our walk here."

"*Yawn* I said that?" Eda asked before she turned around and took a sip from her mug sounding tired.

"Yeah," Sucy said with a shrug. "You said you were a troublemaker that even this Bump feared."

"Me and my big mouth," Eda muttered grumpily while drinking from her mug before she gave a tired sigh. "Alright, you all take your showers and put on your new clothes then we'll get to real business."

Luz and the other girls' small nods before they all took turns to get in the shower.

When they were all done, Akko and her friends slowly walked down the steps to the living room with new clothes on, making Luz's eyes widen in shock with an excited smile on her face.

Akko smiled as she was wearing a plain red shirt and black shorts and wore her luna nova shoes.

Diana wore a blue shirt that had a yellow star on it with a black leather jacket over her shirt and half destroyed blue jeans.

Hannah wore a plain yellow shirt with gray sweatpants while she left her auburn hair down.

Barbara wore a plain green shirt and black sweatpants.

Lotte wore an orange shirt with a pink flower on it with a blue skirt. Sucy wore a goth skull shirt and black pants with black boots.

Amanda, meanwhile,...

"Why are you wearing that?!" Hannah asked, sounding frustrated and annoyed that Amanda was wearing her bad girl coven shirt and gray shorts making her right eye twitch in annoyance.

"What?" Amanda asked, sounding confused. "I'm part of Eda's bad girl-"

"It's not a real coven!" Hannah shouted, sounding frustrated and irritated by this.

"Eh," Amanda said simply with a shrug. "I still look good in this anyway."

Hannah growled out in frustration and irritation.

"So," Akko said, turning to Eda with a smile. "How can we be witches like you guys?"

"We are witches!" Hannah shouted, sounding annoyed and frustrated by this.

"Ignoring," Akko said, not turning to Hannah who raised her hands in the air in frustration.

Eda gave a chuckle and said "Well, as flattered as I am that you want to join the Bad Girl's Coven, orange hair's right."

"Orange? It's auburn hair," Hannah said, sounding irritated.

"No one cares," Amanda said simply before she felt Hannah elbow her in the stomach making her groan in pain.

"Anyways, if you all want to learn how to be witches like us in the demon realm," Eda started before she slammed a bag full of potions on the ground in front of the girls who looked at the bag in shock. "You'll have to work for it."

"I'm out," Hannah said simply walking past Eda and to the front door. "I'm going to look around the Isles since we're going to be staying here for a while."

"I must admit that I do have my own plans for the day as well," Diana said with a sigh before she followed Hannah to the front door. "I plan on paying a visit to these Blights and see if they are as much as what Miss Eda here said yesterday-"

"Pieces of fuck ass shits," Amanda said flatly without holding anything back.

"Spoiled rich bitches like your aunt and daughters," Sucy said bluntly with a raised eyebrow.

"The second one," Diana said with a nod before turning to the others. "Anyone wants to join me."

It was silence in the room before Diana crossed her arms and gave them a flat look on her face.

"Don't all of you join in at once."

"Come on, guys," Akko said slowly walking up to Diana before turning to the others while shaking her head in disappointment. "Are you all really scared to meet a meaner version of Diana's Aunt and her daughters?"

"Yes," Hannah and Barbara said in unison with Hannah crossing her arms.

"And I know for a fact that Diana is scared as well," Hannah said flatly with her arms crossed.

"Diana's not afraid," Akko said with a chuckle before she turned to see Diana looking away sheepishly, making her eyes slowly widen in realization. "Wait, you're afraid of meeting a meaner version of your aunt and daughters?"

"Let's go, Akko," Diana said quickly before she grabbed Akko's wrist and ran out of the Owl House with Hooty opening the door for them and a shocked Akko who didn't say anything and followed Diana out of the house.

Meanwhile, Luz and the others watched Akko and Diana run out of the Owl House with shocked looks on their faces.

"Uh, what just happened?" Luz asked, turning to the other girls with a shocked look on her face.

"Diana is afraid and she doesn't want us to see it," Hannah said simply with a shrug before walking out of the house herself. "Anyways, have fun with potion selling."

"Wait up," Amanda said before she followed Hannah out of the house. "I'm coming with you."

"Why?" Hannah asked flatly, turning to Amanda with a raised eyebrow.

"Just because," Amanda said simply with a shrug.

"Uh-huh," Hannah said simply with a small nod not believing Amanda. "I know you better than that by now, so spill it."

Amanda gave a sigh and said honestly "Fine. You said yesterday that I'm not taking this seriously, well, I want to prove you wrong."

"How?" Hannah asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.

"I don't know," Amanda said simply with a shrug. "But at least I'm a member of Eda's-"

"It's not a real fucking Coven!" Hannah shouted in exasperation and frustration.

"Then why am I wearing this shirt?" Amanda asked smugly with a grin.

Hannah rolled her eyes in irritation before she turned and walked forward with Amanda following behind her.

"And you three?" Eda asked, turning to Lotte, Barbara, and Sucy with a raised eyebrow.

"I'll help with the potions," Sucy said simply with a shrug. "Besides, don't want Akko number 2 here to mess something up."

She turned to Luz with a sinister grin that made Luz gulp in fear.

"Hm, does the Isles have a library?" Barbara asked after giving it some thought.

"Yeah," Eda said with a shrug. "We got a library and it's in town."

She drew up a glowing yellow spell circle and a map appeared in Barbara's hands with a shrug.

"That'll show you where the library is at."

Barbara smiled before she turned to Lotte who gave a smile and a nod.

Nodding back, Barbara turned to the door as she and Lotte walked out of the Owl House and to the library.

"Alright, let's deliver these potions," Sucy said with a devilish grin on her face that made Luz take a few steps back with a scared look on her face.

"Uh, c-can I go and hang out with Akko and Diana instead?" Luz asked Eda with a scared look on her face.

Eda gave a shrug and said simply "Sure, I don't mind."

With that and a nod, Luz bolted out of the Owl House and to where Akko and Diana was at leaving a confused Sucy who gave a shrug before walking out of the house with the bag of potions in her hands.

"Wait, hang on there, uh..."

"Sucy," Sucy said, simply turning to see Eda getting up from the couch and turning to King with her arms crossed.

"Hate to interrupt your beauty sleep but you have to go with her too," Eda said flatly looking at King with her arms crossed.

King was sleeping on top of the treasure chest before he heard Eda say that, making him get up to his feet in irritation.

"What? But I just found the perfect spot, why do I have to go with Sucy?" King asked in frustration before he turned to Sucy who gave him a grin making him shiver a little. "Um, I mean, she can handle herself, right?"

"Well, I guess that's true," Eda said with a shrug before she turned to see Luz running up to Akko and Diana with a worried look on her face. "Alright, fine, then go with Luz, Akko, and Diana to the Blights. You and I both know how much of a pain Odalia and Alador are and if they know about whatever Diana is back at their home then Odalia might use that to her advantage."

King started to get what Eda was saying before he gave a small nod and got down from his perfect spot and walked out of the house while Sucy raised an eyebrow in curiosity and suspicion.

Sucy watched King follow Luz, Akko, and Diana with a raised eyebrow before she shrugged and turned to walk to sell potions but stopped again and turned back to the four people walking to this Blight home with a frown.

She didn't know who these Blights were but if it's a reason to get Eda this worried then they might be bad news.

She will need to make this potion run quick so she can see what these Blights are all about.

With that thought in mind, Sucy turned and started to walk to the town of Boonesborough to sell these potions for Eda.

That could've gone well.

At least she won't have to hear about this from Amanda.

Well, for now at least.

Ok, yeah, Amanda will never let her live that down, but she couldn't help it.

Going to meet someone as bad if not worse than her

Aunt and daughters, how in the nines is that possible?

Diana wasn't stupid and she knew about a thing called the multiverse but to think that there's someone just as bad if not worse than her aunt and daughters sent shivers down her spine.

Right now, she, Akko, and Luz who joined them to get away from Sucy, not that Diana could blame her for that if she was being honest with herself since Sucy can get scary when she cackles to herself at times but enough of that.

She had to stay focused.

Shaking her head, Diana straightened herself up which caused Akko and Luz to turn to her with confused looks on their faces.

"You ok, Diana?" Akko asked, sounding worried for her friend.

"Yes, Akko, I'm alright," Diana said with a small smile before she gave a small sigh. "I'm just nervous is all. I mean, meeting another but different version that sounds similar to my aunt and her daughters, I just don't know how to feel about that."

"What were they like?" Luz couldn't help but ask in confusion and worry. "Your aunt and daughters I mean."

That made Diana freeze in place with a shocked look on her face.

She knew the question was bound to come from Luz, Eda, or King but to hear it this early is quite unsettling.

However, she couldn't run away from a question like this, no matter how much she wanted to.

Taking a hesitant gulp and looking down as the memories of her aunt and daughters came back to her making her slowly clench her fists in frustration.

"M-My Aunt Daryl and her daughters were nothing but cruel and made fun of me for my love of magic," Diana said gently while trying to calm her frustrations over her aunt and her daughters back home. "When my mother died from an illness, things only got worse before I went to Luna Nova while they sell the family's artifacts just to make money off it."

She turned and scowled at Akko who gave a small gulp in worry.

"But once I gone to Luna Nova, I met someone who wouldn't be quiet about Shiny Chariot and want to learn magic just so she can be go and show it off like how my aunt and her daughters wanted to use our family's history to make mo-"

"Hey guys, wait up!"

Diana's eyes widened as she was snapped out of her trance as she, Akko, and Luz turned to see King running up to them before jumping on Luz's shoulder with a smile.

"Eda told me to join you guys since she was worried about you guys meeting the Blights," King said while jumping on Luz's shoulder.

"Oh uh, thanks King," Luz said with a confused look on her face. "But why would Eda be worried about us meeting the Blights?"

"Trust me, once you see Odalia Blight then you'll know why Eda is worried about this," King said simply with a nod.

Well, that's reassuring...

Were the Blights really that bad?

Diana really hoped not but after what Eda said yesterday, it wasn't out of the question anymore.

Diana gave a gulp with a worried look on her face before she shook her head and started to walk forward to find Blight Manor with Akko and Luz following her with Akko giving her a worried look on her face but didn't say anything, yet.

"So, what should we do first?" Amanda asked with a grin while she and Hannah walked through town.

Hannah gave a sigh and said flatly "Remind me why you talked me into letting you come with me to town."

"Oh," Amanda said, turning to Hannah with a shocked look on her face before giving a shrug. "Nothing, I was just bored."

Hannah gave a heavy sigh before she pinched the bridge of her nose and said in irritation "I should've gone with Diana to the Blights."

"What?!" Amanda asked in shock. "And miss out on all this!"

She gestured to the town that was filled with creatures she and Hannah didn't know about.

Hannah turned to Amanda with a flat look and said flatly "You're just doing this to get out of potion duty."

"So are you," Amanda shot back with a shrug.

"Ok, fair," Hannah admitted flatly with a shrug. "But still, anything to get away from Diana's meeting with the Blights."

"Fair," Amanda said simply with a shrug before she turned forward with a smug grin. "So, where to go first?"

"No clue," Hannah said honestly with a shrug. "Besides, we're still new to the Isles and I'm secretly using this as an excuse to get out of joining Diana to meet the Blights."

"Yeah, I kind of thought as much," Amanda said gently with a small nod. "As much as I can stand Cavendish, I can only handle one Cavendish and if the Blights are as bad as Eda said then I want nothing to do with that."

"Same here," Hannah admitted with a small nod in agreement. "No offense but one Diana's strict tone is enough to handle."

"Says the one who supports the teacher to expel me and Akko back at Luna Nova," Amanda challenged pointing to Hannah with a glare.

Hannah rolled her eyes and said flatly "Well, it would help if you actually learned to listen and not be a delinquent who kept wanting to leave and be expelled from school."

"Awe, would you miss me if I was gone~?" Amanda asked teasingly with a grin on her face.

Hannah looked away with her face flushed and grumbled "Why would I miss a delinquent like you?"

"I'm not hearing a no," Amanda said with a grin on her face.

"No," Hannah said flatly while walking away from Amanda who watched her leave with a grin on her face. "Also, there's something I want to talk or ask you about."

This got Amanda to raise an eyebrow while following Hannah through the town in confusion.

"What's that?" Amanda asked with a confused look on her face.

Hannah could feel her face slowly flush red at remembering the picture of Amanda as a boy she has in her room back at Luna Nova which made her face flush even redder by the second.

"Is it true that you disguise yourself as a boy?" Hannah asked, trying to not stutter but couldn't help the blush that was coming to her face.

Amanda's eyes slowly widened as she remembered what Sucy said yesterday during their break in at the Conformature before she grumbled and muttered out "Damn you Sucy."

Scratching the back of her neck sheepishly, Amanda looked to Hannah and said gently, "Yeah, I used the metamorphic spell to turn myself into a boy when me and Akko went to Andrew's school to look for the nine word thing that Akko was trying to find."

Hannah gave a small nod before she turned to Amanda with a grin and said with a chuckle "I'm guessing things didn't go over so well."

"Got that right," Amanda said flatly with a shrug. "Turns out Croix's metal blocks took over the armor at the school and got on that Luis asshole's body and I had to fight him, I won, obviously,"

Hannah rolled her eyes and gave a flat look on her face.

"But afterwards, I changed my mind on wanting to leave Luna Nova before helping Akko and Diana on stopping the Noir Missile that Croix made for her revenge story on Chariot thing."

Hannah gave a small nod before she took a step back and started walking side by side with Amanda who gave a raised eyebrow in suspicion but didn't say anything about it and turned forward while they walked through the town.

"So, why are you a delinquent?" Hannah couldn't help but ask after a few minutes of silence before she cringed at the question. "Uh, never mind, you don't have to say anything if you don't want to."

Amanda narrowed her eyes at Hannah before she gave a small sigh and grumbled "It's complicated."

"Yeah, that's fair," Hannah agreed with a small nod before sighing. "Ok fine, I don't know what to talk about or where we can go in this new place, we know nothing about."

"Yeah, yeah, I can understand that" Amanda agreed with a small nod before she and Hannah turned to see someone they know hit on a stair while grumbling making them raise eyebrows in confusion.

"Sucy? Is that you?" Hannah asked in shock and confusion as she and Amanda walked up to their friend.

Sucy, who was sitting on a stair with a huge bag full of potions, Hannah and Amanda could only guess, heard the new voices before turning to them and gave a flat look on her face.

"Hey guys," Sucy said dryly with a flat look on her face. "Did you guys find something to do in this town?"

"Nah," Amanda said flatly with a shrug before turning to the huge bag and gave a raised eyebrow in suspicion. "I'm guessing nobody wanted Eda's potions."

"Nope," Sucy said flatly with a growl. "Nobody wants these stupid potions, and I got my face slammed on more doors than I could count at this point while being here."

Amanda and Hannah both couldn't help but cringe at the thought of people slamming the door on them for seeing Eda's potions.

Honestly, they didn't know whether to feel sympathy for Sucy or the victims that would dare slam their doors on her face and were the victims of her revenge.

That was enough for Amanda and Hannah to feel shivers run down their spins.

"A-Anyways," Hannah started sounding a little scared at what Sucy will do to the people that slammed their doors at her. "Is there anyone else you need to deliver the potions too?"

"Eh," Sucy said flatly with a shrug while getting up to her feet and grabbed the bag of potions in her hands. "Not really, I've just been walking from door to door and offering the stupid potions only for the door to get slammed in my face."

"Uh, sorry about that Sucy," Amanda said sympathetic either to Sucy or Sucy's victims later on, she didn't know before she turned, and her eyes widened at what she was seeing.

Well, at least there was one good thing here in the Isles.

"Hey, at least they have food that looks like it's from earth," Amanda said sounding excited before she ran up to the standby Sucy who she and Hannah turned to and their eyes widened at the stand next to them.

"A not-dog?" Hannah asked Amanda who walked up and looked at the picture of the food with a raised eyebrow.

The picture of the not-dog looked like a hot dog except this one had a black one eye monster that honestly reminded Hannah from that Scooby Doo 2 movie she and her little sister watched back home which made her even more curious.

Is it edible?

Can they eat something like this?

She wouldn't mind trying it but at the same time, she would like not to die before going back to Luna Nova, thank you very much.

But at the same time, she kind of really wanted to try it herself.

Turning her head, Hannah saw Amanda turn to her with a grin that made her roll her eyes and said flatly "Alright fine, we can try it but do you have any money?"

Amanda gave a smirk and pulled out some snails from her pocket shocking Hannah while Sucy raised an eyebrow with interest.

"How... where did you get that?" Hannah asked, looking at the snails in Amanda's hand in shock.

"I stole some from Eda," Amanda said flatly before turning to the green jelly monster with a smile. "Three not-dogs please."

The green jelly gave a nod and got to work making the three not dogs for them.

While that was going on, Hannah couldn't help but give an exasperated sigh and muttered under her breath "Of course you stole them from Eda."

Honestly, she should've expected to know the American witch.

"Why are you even surprised at this point?" Sucy asked dryly, turning to Hannah with a raised eyebrow.

"I, honestly, don't know at this point," Hannah admitted with a tired sigh.

She thought that after last night's events, Amanda would start to be responsible but unsurprisingly, she was wrong.

Looking back at Amanda, Hannah could tell that Amanda was putting on a mask to hide her true feelings about this whole thing after their moment back at the hallway last night at the Owl House.

It wasn't that hard to figure out why Amanda's not breaking down like she did yesterday.

Ever since the start of Luna Nova, Hannah and everyone in the school only knew Amanda as a tomboy who never follows the rules and even after the noir missile crisis, things haven't changed with Amanda's reception at the school.

It's not like Hannah would blame them if she was being honest since the school has started changing their perspective on Akko and her friends but since Amanda hasn't really changed and stayed as the same tomboy idiot, you could say that Amanda's praise didn't last long but at the same time, it wasn't too long since the missile event happened before Chloe dragged them into the Boiling Isles and the rest is history.

If she was being honest, Hannah kind of knew Amanda wasn't cut out for the rich life like she, Diana, and Barbara were.

Now sure, Amanda's family were probably rich as well if her coming to Luna Nova was any indication but thanks to her rebel personality, her status was out the window after that, but Amanda really didn't care about that.

Hannah didn't want to admit it, but she couldn't help but admire the way Amanda has a free spirit while she, Barbara, and Diana have a tight shift in life on things which made her give a hesitant gulp while looking down to the ground with a worried look on her face.

Sucy turned to see Hannah looking down making her give a raised eyebrow but didn't say anything and turned to see the creature giving them there not dogs.

"Here you three go," The creature said in a slimy voice making Hannah look up before all three of them took their not-dog with raised eyebrows.

"Well, it looks edible," Sucy said, looking at the not-dog in curiosity.

"I'm going to pretend like I didn't hear that," Amanda said plainly before she took a bite from her not-dog and her eyes widened in shock. "Holy shit, this shit is good."

This caught Hannah by surprise before she turned and took a bite from her not-dog before her eyes widened at the taste.

It tasted like slime which would make sense but add the hot-dog bun and it didn't really taste all that bad.

Even the eye had flavored that Hannah couldn't describe since she didn't know much about the boiling isles, yet.

"Yeah, this is kind of good," Hannah admitted with a smile and nodded. Sucy gave a nod while eating her not-dog with her eyes widened at the taste.

"So Sucy, how many potions do you need to deliver?" Amanda asked casually, turning to Sucy with a shrug while eating her not-dog.

"One, I think," Sucy said flatly with a shrug before turning her head to the place where she needs to deliver the potions.

Turning their heads, Amanda and Hannah saw a nearby ally in front of them before turning to each other and shrugging.

"Alright," Amanda said with a shrug, grabbing the potion bag up with her free hand and turning to Sucy with a grin. "Let's help you get this done."

"Really?" Sucy asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Why not," Hannah said with a shrug. "We have nothing better to do. Besides, what's the worst that could happen?"

"That's a good point," Sucy said simply before shrugging. "Alright, let's go."

Turning their heads, Sucy, Hannah, and Amanda started to walk to the nearby alleyway with Sucy pulling out a paper from her pocket and looking at the address.

Moving the nearby brown tent, Sucy, Hannah, and Amanda walked through the tent before they froze at what they were seeing with their eyes widened in shock.

"Holy shit," Amanda muttered with a shocked look on her face.

"You can say that again," Hannah muttered under her breath with a shocked look on her face.

"Holy-"

"What the fucking hell?!" Sucy shouted cutting Amanda off with a snarl in anger. "That's it, let's just drop the potions off and get out of here."

"Yeah, for once, I might have to agree with you on that one," Hannah said before she, Sucy, and Amanda slowly walked up to the front door with Sucy pressing the button.

Hearing the ring tone, Sucy, Hannah, and Amanda watched as the doors slowly opened making their eyes widen in shock.

"Oh yeah, not ominous at all," Hannah muttered out while she, Amanda, and Sucy walked through the entrance of the castle and entered the living room where they saw a very fancy living room that made her and Sucy cringe while Amanda looked around the living room in shock and amazement.

"Hot damn," Amanda said with a whistle in shock and amazement. "Whoever this guy is will beat Cavendish's rich ass place by a thousand miles."

"You've never been to Diana's house before," Hannah said, turning to Amanda with a flat look on her face.

"I heard it from Akko when she went to get Cavenbitch back from becoming her family head," Amanda said simply with a shrug.

Hannah was about to say something when a voice stopped her from saying it.

"Greetings, new travelers."

Turning their heads, Amanda, Hannah, and Sucy saw an old man with a long gray beard wearing a purple cloak with a hat slowly walk down the long steps making the three girl's eyes widen in shock.

"I was in my oscillatorium, reading the stars. And who might you three be, with eyes full of-"

"And, We'll be leaving now," Sucy said flatly, cutting the old man off before she turned around and started to walk out of the house. "Let's go Amanda, Hannah."

"Yeah, right behind you," Hannah said with a nod before turning around and following Sucy out of the castle. "Let's go, Amanda."

"Yeah," Amanda said, putting the bag of potions on the ground and turned around to follow Hannah and Sucy out of the castle. "We can go and look for Akko, Luz, and Cavenb-"

"Diana-"

"Diana to wherever these Blight people live."

"Wait!"

Amanda, Hannah, and Sucy stopped and turned to see the wizard guy run up before stopping in front of them while breathing heavily.

"H-How would you all like to go on a quest?" The old wizard asked, breathing heavily before giving them a smile.

"No," Sucy said bluntly.

"Nope," Hannah said, shaking her head.

"Well, I wouldn't mind if-"

"Don't even say it," Hannah said, cutting the American witch off flatly before grabbing Amanda by her shirt collar and pulling her out of the house. "We already overstayed our welcome here."

"What?!" Amanda asked in bewilderment. "But I want to go and do this quest thing."

"We have more important things to do," Hannah said, trying to pull Amanda by her shirt collar with the roll of her eyes.

Amanda blinked twice and asked in confusion "Like what?"

"We need to check on Diana and make sure that nothing happens with her visit with the Blights," Hannah said with the roll of her eyes before she, Amanda, and Sucy turned to see the old wizard guy freeze in place with a shocked look on his face making her raise an eyebrow in suspicion. "Do you know the Blights?"

"Huh, who hasn't," The old wizard said with a scoff. "The Blights are one of the richest people in the Boiling Isles and Mrs. Blight is the cruelest woman on the face of the Isles but that's just what the rumors say."

This caught Hannah, Sucy, and Amanda's attention as they narrowed eyes at the old wizard man.

"What do these rumors say about Mrs. Blight?" Amanda asked with her eyes narrow at the wizard man.

This got the old wizard man to raise an eyebrow before a smirk came to his face and snapped his fingers and a table with four chairs appeared behind them.

"Come have a seat and I may tell you," The wizard man said, gesturing to the table behind him.

Amanda, Hannah, and Sucy turned to each other with questionable looks on their faces before turning back to the old wizard guy.

"Tell us about these rumors first then we will think about this quest crap you want us to do," Sucy said with a glare.

The old wizard guy gave a grin on his face before he gestured the three witches to the table and chairs.

Lotte and Barbara walked up to a huge building with Barbara looking at the map to the library.

"I think this is the place," Barbara said looking at the map before looking up at the huge building that looked like a university was in front of her and Lotte.

"I think you're right," Lotte said, looking up to the building with a nod.

"Want to go in, and see?" Barbara gave a small nod before she and Lotte slowly walked up the stairs and the doors with Barbara opening the door for them as they walked in the building.

Walking in the building, Lotte and Barbara's eyes both widen at the huge library in front of them.

"Wow," Barbara explained, looking around the huge shelves of books in amazement. "I know the Luna Nova library is big, but this place is huge."

"Yeah," Lotte said before she and Barbara started to walk around the building. "So, what do you think we'll find here?"

Barbara gave a shrug and said, "I don't know, you want to look around the place?"

"Sure," Lotte said with a smile and a nod.

With a nod, Barbara turned forward as she and Lotte started to walk around the library with a smile.

Walking around the library, Lotte and Barbara saw that the library was both the same as earth but wasn't at the same time.

The halls and bookshelf were the same as earth or the human realm, but the drawers had eyes and a mouth which both amazed them and also a little creeped out at the tongue coming out of its mouth.

Turning her head at the end of the bookshelf, Barbara's eyes widened and said "Lotte, they have crystal balls here."

"What?" Lotte asked, turning to where Barbara was looking and saw creatures messing with crystal balls that made her eyes widen in shock and amazement.

"No way," Lotte said with her eyes widened before looking at Barbara with a smile. "At least they have something that we know about back at Luna Nova."

Barbara gave a nod in agreement before she and Lotte walked to a free crystal ball.

Sitting down, Barbara tapped on the crystal ball to see it gone to a search bar with a keyboard on it making her raise an eyebrow.

"What should we search for?" Barbara asked, turning to Lotte who got a nearby chair and sat down next to her with a raised eyebrow.

"Find out if they have Nightfall here," Lotte said gently with a shrug.

Barbara nodded before she typed Nightfall in the search bar and pressed search, and they got...

"Nothing," Barbara said looking at they can't find screen with a shocked look on her face. "They don't have Nightfall in this world!"

"Shh," A dark skinned witch sitting next to Barbara whispered to her, making Barbara wince uncomfortably.

"Sorry," Barbara muttered out with a guilty look on her face before turning to Lotte with a pout. "Now what?"

Lotte gave a frown before she remembered something and said, "Try these Blights since Akko, Diana, and Luz are going to meet them today."

"Shouldn't we try and find a way home instead," Barbara said with a raised eyebrow.

“We should but I'm honestly worried about Akko, Diana, and Luz since they were going to meet these Blights and after what Miss. Eda said about them, they don't sound friendly," Lotte said with a shrug but had a worried look on her face.

"Good point," Barbara agreed with a nod before she turned and typed the Blights on the crystal ball.

After a few minutes of searching, Lotte and Barbara saw an article about the Blight Family.

"Ok, here it says that their youngest daughter is a top student at a school named Hexside," Barbara said, starting to read the article before her eyes slowly widened. "Wait Hexside, is that a school or something?"

"If it's a school full of witches then we should go and become students there," Lotte finished for Barbara before both girls smiled at each other.

"It seems like as good a start as any," Barbara said with a nod before she and Lotte turned and continued to read through the article.

As they were reading about Amity Blight, Lotte couldn't help but raise an eyebrow and ask, "Why do I feel like this Amity Blight sounds a lot like Diana?"

"You too?" Barbara asked, turning to Lotte with a shocked look on her face.

"Well, let's just hope they're not in any trouble." Lotte gave a nod before she and Barbara turned back to the crystal ball and started to read the article about the Blights from the beginning.

As they began to read about Odalia and Alador Blight, their eyes started to slowly widen in shock and fear.

"Oh no," Barbara muttered with a horrified look on her face. "Odalia Blight runs Blight Industries and makes deals with anyone to stay on top. Sounds like someone we know."

She turns and cringes at seeing Lotte look at her with worry and confusion. "Right, you're not Hannah, sorry Lotte."

"It's ok," Lotte said softly with a shrug. "From what Diana said about her aunt and daughter's, they kind of sound like this Odalia Blight pers..."

She stopped when she started to put the pieces together in her head.

Barbara gave a nod with a worried look on her face.

"Yeah, we need to get to Diana, Akko, and Luz before it's too late," Barbara said before she and Lotte got up from their seats and ran out of the hallway with worried looks on their faces.

Before Lotte remembered something and asked in worry "Wait, where do the Blights live?"

"Agh, I forgot about that," Barbara said in a groan before she and Lotte turned around and ran back up to the crystal ball with Barbara using the crystal ball to quickly find out where Blight Manner's location was.

"Are you sure this is the place?" Diana asked with a raised eyebrow as she, Akko, and Luz with King on Luz's shoulder stood in front of a gray-looking mansion with pink doors in front of them.

Honestly, Diana didn't think they would get this far and find Blight Manor but here they were.

Standing in front of the door that led to the people that were just as bad as her aunt and her daughters making her give a nervous gulp.

She wasn't afraid.

She was Diana Cavendish, the decedent to Beatrix Cavendish and daughter of her mother, Bernadette Cavendish.

She can do this and all she has to do is knock on the door.

Yeah, this will be easy, no pressure.

Slowly raising her right fist, Diana gave a nervous gulp and-,

"I can't do this," Diana said quickly, sounding nervous and scared about this. Luz and Akko turned to Diana with worried looks on their faces.

"Wait, what?" Akko asked, looking worried and confused. "But Diana, we just got here, and we haven't even met the Blight's yet."

"I know," Diana said hesitantly before giving a sigh and looking down to the ground with her fists slowly clenched. "But, what if this Odalia is just as bad as my aunt and her daughters, if not worse. One Daryl Cavendish is enough to handle."

"Not to mention you're magicless," King said simply with a shrug before Luz gave a frown and pushed him off her shoulder making him fall to the ground with a "Weh".

"Yes, thank you for reminding me, King," Diana said, turning to King with a deadpan look on her face.

With a sigh, Diana turned around and sat on a step with a frustrated look on her face.

"What am I even doing?" Diana asked bitterly with a sigh. "I've never acted like this before."

"Like what?" Luz asked in confusion before she and Akko turned around and sat next to Diana who gave a bitter chuckle in frustration.

"This," Diana said, gesturing to everything around her and the clothes she was wearing. "All of this. Being afraid, scared, and-"

"Powerless," Akko said softly with a worried look on her face.

"Magicless," Diana admitted with a small nod before looking down with a frustrated look on her face. "This wasn't how it was supposed to go. I wasn't meant to be this scared. I am a Cavendish for nines sake, and I can't even use magic like back at home. How am I supposed to live without magic?"

Akko gave a frown and asked, "Were you magicless after Chariot's accident when we were little?"

"This is different, Akko," Diana said sadly with a small sigh. "Other than Miss Eda's batteries, we're magicless and I... I don't know what to do anymore. I don't know how to get home and I'm trying to keep it together but now that I'm about to meet someone who is considered to be like my aunt Daryl, It all just feels-"

"Overwhelming," Akko said gently, cutting Diana who gave a small chuckle and nodded slowly.

"That's one word for it," Diana said with a small nod before she turned to Akko and Luz with a small smile. "How do you do it? This whole, non-magic thing."

"If you mean living without magic," Akko said slowly with a small smile on her face. "How do you go on being a picture-perfect student back at Luna Nova? I mean, come on, I can't even stay focused on studying for even a second."

Diana let out a small chuckle before she turned to see Luz giving her a smile and nodded.

"I don't know much about your world or how magic works, but I've been magicless my whole life before coming here," Luz said simply with a shrug.

"You're still magicless, Luz," Akko said cheekily with a grin.

Luz looked away with a pout and grumbled "Shut up, Akko."

Diana couldn't but chuckle softly before she found something off and asked with a frown "Where's King?"

Turning her head, Luz saw that King was gone, making her look around in confusion.

"Huh, where did King go?" Luz asked in confusion with a raised eyebrow.

Akko and Diana looked around to find King before all three girls turned to see the front door of the manor open slightly, making their eyes widen in shock.

"Uh oh," Luz whispered slowly, getting up to her feet with a worried look on her face.

Akko and Diana slowly got up to their feet and turned to the open doors with worried looks on their faces.

"Um, think nobody's home," Akko whispered with a worried look on her face.

Just as Akko said that she, Diana, and Luz heard a voice from inside the manner that made the three girls flinch a bit.

"Who in the titan are you?!"

The three girls jumped at the female strict voice before they watched a woman walk out of the manner while carrying on his collar.

Diana froze in place at seeing the woman in front of her while feeling a shiver run down her spine.

The woman standing in front of Diana, Akko, and Luz looked like a businessperson with her white, purple business suit with black pants and boots.

Her two-toned mint-green color, tied back into a bun and her blue eyes and face looked like she meant business which made Diana, Akko, and Luz start to get worried and afraid.

There was no doubt in their minds that this woman was indeed Odalia Blight, and she looked just like how Eda described her to be.

She really does look like she can be a handful to deal with and the look on her face didn't help things as well.

They watched as the woman let out a disgusted huff before turning and freezing at the three girls in front of her.

The woman turned to Diana with her eyes slowly widened and whispered softly "Amity?"

"Excuse me?" Diana asked in shock and confusion.

The woman turned and saw the round ears on Diana before she gave a scoff and said bitterly "So, you three are human."

"I-I'm sorry," Diana said in a studder with a shocked look on her face.

"I believe this is yours," Odalia said, sounding unimpressed, showing King before tossing him to Luz who caught him and held him in her arms. "Now, will you human's leave my house, or I will have my abomination butlers to do it themselves."

"Wanting to meet her, huh," Akko said whispering to Diana who turned to her with a flat look on her face.

Giving a sigh, Diana turned to Odalia Blight and said in a gentle voice "Hello Mrs. Blight. My name is Diana Cavendish, and I would like to have a word with you, if you have the time."

This caught Odalia off guard by Diana's strict attitude but only by a second as she raised an eyebrow in interest.

"And what would that be?" Odalia asked, sounding interested with a raised eyebrow.

"I have heard some... rumors on how you do things that reminded me of how my aunt and her daughters do things back in my world," Diana said, choosing her words carefully but held back the fear she was starting to feel from just looking at the woman in front of her. "I wanted to come and talk to you about these rumors and see if they were true."

"And, who told you these rumors?" Odalia asked questionably with raised eyebrows.

"E-Eda," Akko said, sounding worried and scared right now.

"Edalyn?!" Odalia asked with a shocked look on her face before she narrowed her eyes enough that made both Akko and Luz start to get afraid from the woman's glare. "What did Edalyn say about me?"

A hand moved in front of Akko, shielding her from the glare, making Akko's eyes widen before turning to see Diana standing in front of her with a stern glare sent to Odalia Blight.

Why does this feel like Deja Vu from what happened back at Diana's home?

Either way, it didn't stop Akko's eyes from widen in shock before turning to see Odalia still glaring at them with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, Miss Eda told us about you, and you reminded me of my aunt who I do not like at the moment," Diana said sternly, sending a cold glare Odalia's way. "However, this conversation is between you and me, leave Akko, Luz, and King out of it."

Odalia rolled her eyes in annoyance and said in irritation "You're just like my daughter, Amity, always wanting to protect someone dear to you."

Meanwhile, Amity, who was eating lunch with her friends, heard what her mother says through the Oracle neckless before she froze in place with a hesitant gulp in fear.

"W-What?" Amity whispered hesitantly with a gulp.

"Hush mittens, this has nothing to do with you," Her mother's voice said in her mind, making her give a hesitant gulp before nodding slowly.

"Yes, mom," Amity thought slowly before getting back to her lunch with her friends.

Diana saw the glowing purple necklace that Odalia was wearing, making her raise an eyebrow in suspicion.

What is that necklace?

It's not like anything Diana has ever seen before.

She might be from a world of magic, but she didn't know a thing about the Boiling Isles and Luna Nova never had anything like that before.

And who is this, Amity?

Is that Odalia's daughter?

It wouldn't come as much of a surprise to Diana since Eda did say something about Blight's having kids or something like that.

Either way, something caught her attention.

The glowing purple necklace.

Why was it glowing?

Was Odalia talking to someone?

If she was, then who was it?

Was it that Amity girl?

Why was she talking to her and how?

And what was that part about Amity wanting to protect someone, like she just did with Akko?

She didn't know what was going on and that just got her a little interested and worried for this Amity girl.

She didn't know how to help this Amity girl or what was happening with her, but she knew where to start.

That necklace.

The purple glowing necklace.

If she took it then she could bring it to Eda and ask what it is.

She didn't like or want to steal but at the same time, knew that if she asked if she could borrow the necklace then Odalia would do anything she could to stop her.

Now that she was thinking about it, if she did take the necklace then Odalia wouldn't search for her and her friends throughout the isles.

She didn't want to put Akko or her friends through that, making her slowly clench her fists in frustration.

Odalia saw this and raised an eyebrow in suspicion.

"Is there something wrong?" Odalia asked in suspicion while narrowing her eyes.

Diana narrowed her eyes at Odalia and said sharply "No, nothing at all."

The tension between Diana and Odalia only grew with every second as the two narrowed their eyes to each other.

Akko, Luz, and King could feel the tension between the two green-haired women as they started to get afraid.

The tense silence continued until Akko, Luz, and King saw something they didn't know could come from the Cavendish girl.

They watched as Diana ran up to Odalia and quickly grabbed the purple circle necklace off her before turning around and throwing the necklace to Akko.

"Akko, catch!" Diana shouted throwing the necklace to Akko who caught the necklace in her hands with a hesitant gulp in confusion and fear.

"Um ok, now what?" Akko asked, holding the necklace in confusion.

Odalia's eyes widened at the Oracle necklace in Akko's hands before she narrowed her eyes and growled out "Give me that necklace back, you disgusting humans."

"Akko, Luz, run!" Diana shouted as she began to run to Akko, Luz, and King before she felt a hand grab her arm making her turn to see Odalia glare hateful daggers at her.

"Give me the necklace back, you human wretch," Odalia snarled in anger.

"No, this is wrong, and I won't let you hurt-" Diana started to say before she felt a hand slap on her cheek making her eyes slowly widen when she felt a sting on the left side of her cheek.

Odalia gave a proud, sadistic smirk as she watched Diana slowly move her left hand on her left cheek and felt a sting making her eyes slowly widen even more. Before anyone could say anything,

Akko ran up and tackled Odalia to the ground before punching her in the face with a glare.

"Don't hurt Diana!" Akko shouted while punching Odalia who snarled at her in anger.

Before Akko could punch Odalia, whose right cheek was swollen from the punch, Odalia made a purple spell circle, and a glowing purple ghost appeared behind Akko and grabbed her before pulling her off of her.

"What is wrong with you, humans," Odalia growled out while slowly getting up to her feet with a snarl in anger. "You come into my house and attack me out of nowhere! Not only that but you took my necklace, which I will be taking back now."

Before anyone could or did anything, all three of them heard a crack sound making them turn to see Luz and King standing there with purple glass fragments on the ground which made Odalia's eyes widen in horror.

"No," Odalia whispered out with a shocked and horrified look on her face.

Akko and Diana were speechless at what they were seeing before they looked to Luz who pointed at King who looked like he just threw something to the ground.

"He did it," Luz said, pointing to King who started to laugh.

"Ha! That's what you get for keeping their attention away from me!" King shouted triumphantly while laughing maniacally.

Akko blinked twice in bewilderment before she slowly started to break down into a fit of laughter.

Diana, herself, couldn't help but laugh slightly at this while Akko slowly got up to her feet.

The only one who wasn't laughing was Odalia who was staring at the oracle necklace that was now broken in shock, horror, but most of all, anger as she slowly clenched her fists and gritted her teeth in anger so hard her teeth might break.

Without saying a word, Odalia made a purple spell circle, and an oracle orb appeared in her hands before a glowing purple ghost that looked like a mummy with blue eyes appeared, hovering behind her while she glared hatefully at the three human's who turned to her with shock and fear on there faces.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, let's not do anything crazy," Akko said with her hands out in front of her with a scared look on her face.

"You ruined everything," Odalia growled out in anger while narrowing her eyes at Luz and King with Luz holding King protectively with a scared look on her face.

"You'll pay for this, humans!"

The glowing purple ghost hovered over to Luz with its purple claws sheathed out of its fingers as it got closer to Luz and King.

Without wasting another second, Luz ducked under the slash before running up to Akko and Diana with both girls running in front and stood protectively of them.

"Diana, we need our wands," Akko said to Diana who nodded in agreement.

"I know," Diana whispered out with a nod.

Before either girl could say anything, the glowing purple ghost turned and flew through Akko and Diana's bodies and up to Luz and King with Luz shivering in fear.

"Luz!" Akko and Diana shouted, turning to see the glowing purple ghost in front of Luz with shocked looks on their faces.

Luz was about to run before she felt the glowing purple ghost grab her by its left hand and tightened her grip making Luz grunt in pain.

"K-King, get down to the ground," Luz grunted out in pain while King quickly got out of Luz's hands and fell to the ground with a "Weh!".

Shaking his head, King quickly got up to his feet before turning and running up to Odalia.

Odalia turned to see the little demon dog running up to her before a grin came to her face as an idea was formed.

King was about to run and jump to Odalia when the glowing purple ghost floated in front of him with Luz in its arms making him stop in place with a shocked look on his face.

Akko and Diana were shocked by this themselves while their fists slowly clenched in anger and worry.

They wanted to do something but without their wands, what could they do?

"Now, I believe this ends or I will do something to your human computerate," Odalia said threateningly while the glowing purple ghost moved its two claw hands close to Luz's face whose body began to shake in fear.

Diana slowly clenched her fists while gritting her teeth in anger so hard that blood slowly began to drip from her mouth.

Never in her life has she ever felt so useless and... it was her fault.

She wanted to go and meet Odalia Blight to see if what Eda said was true and in doing so, got Luz captured and held captured by some kind of magic that she knows nothing about.

Nines, how Amanda would be proud at her misfortune and Hannah giving her a lecture for what she had done and... she deserves it.

Sure, she wasn't planning on Luz, Akko, and King coming along with her but if she just walked away instead of taking the necklace and trying to run away which caused Luz to get captured due to this.

Nines, what was wrong with her?

She was better than this.

She was a Cavendish for nine's sake, even if her family name is next to nothing now in this new world and she had Chloe to thank for that.

She didn't want to admit it, but she wanted to strangle Chloe as much as Amanda and Hannah did, even if it was unbecoming of a Cavendish but at the same time, Chloe got them trapped in the Boiling Isles for nines fucking sakes!

Even if it was unbecoming of a Cavendish, she was still human and had a lot of choice words to the point that it would make Amanda blush at the words she wants to say to Chloe and her band of fucking heels that got them trapped in the Boiling Isles.

That was part of the reason she went after that neckless and now Luz got captured due to her actions.

If she, Akko, and King get Luz free and out of here then she will need to apologize to her when they return to the Owl House later today.

For now...

"Let Luz go," Diana grunted out while glaring at Odalia with a hateful glare.

"After you three interrupted and ruined my plans I had for my family," Odalia said tauntingly before scoffing. "I don't think so and now, you all will pay for interfering with my plans for my fa-"

"Mother?!"

Everyone froze in place before they all slowly turned to see Amity Blight running up and standing next to Diana before her eyes widened in shock at what was happening.

"Mother, what is going on here?! Who are these people? Are they human? And why do you have one in your-" Amity was cut off when she felt her foot stomp on glass making her look down before her eyes slowly widened at what she was seeing. "I-Is this the..."

Bending down to knees, Amity grabbed pieces of the broken necklace before using her free hand to pull out the necklace she was wearing, and her mind came to the conclusion.

"This is the Oracle necklace," Amity whispered in shock and horror before she slowly turned to see Diana bending down next to her with a worried look on her face making her get confused. "W-Who are you?"

"My name is Diana Cavendish," Diana said with a worried look on her face. "I take it that your Amity Blight?"

Amity gave a small nod and asked in confusion "Yes, but why are you here? At my home."

"I was originally coming here for information before I found out about that neckless your mother had on her person," Diana said slowly with a worried look on her face.

Amity's eyes slowly widened in horror and asked hesitantly "Did you break the necklace?"

"That was King's fault!" Akko shouted accusingly to King who looked at them in confusion.

"What?! Was I not supposed to break it?" King asked, sounding confused with a confused look on his face.

Akko, Diana, and Luz all groaned while Amity gave a sigh before looking down to the destroyed necklace as tears began to well up in her eyes.

She knew that she wasn't free from her mother's control but this...

She didn't even know what to say about this. Before she could say anything, five other girls ran up to them and looked at what was going on in shock.

"What the hell is going on?!" Amanda asked with a shocked look on her face.

"Luz, Is she ok?" Lotte asked, sounding worried.

Odalia gave a groan and said bitterly "Great, more humans. Amity if you would, deal with them."

Amity's body shivered at the cold and venomous voice in her mother's voice before she slowly turned to see Diana turn to her with a worried look on her face making her give a nervous gulp in fear.

Amity slowly got up to her feet and whispered hesitantly "I'm sorry."

Making a purple spell circle, a purple abomination came up from the ground in front of Amity making Akko, Diana, and the other girls get shocked by this.

"Incredible," Diana couldn't help but be amazed by this before she turned to see Amity looking away from her, making her start to get worried.

"Sucy, do you have a potion for this thing," Lotte said, sounding scared while she and Barbara held each other close in fear.

"Yeah, I think I got something for this," Sucy said bluntly before she pulled a red potion from her pocket and threw it at the abomination.

The potion hit the abomination as it broke to pieces before a huge red fire came from it making everyone, even Amity take a step back with shocked looks on their faces.

"You had a fire potion," Akko said with a shocked look on her face before she shook her head and turned to Sucy with a raised eyebrow. "Why didn't you use an acid potion like at the prison yesterday?"

"I already used the last acid potion before coming here," Sucy said bluntly with a shrug.

This caught Akko, Diana, Lotte, Barbara, King, and Luz confused while Amanda and Hannah felt shivers from their spines.

After hearing the rumors about Odalia and the Blight family from the old wizard guy, Hannah started to get worried as she shouted in fear "Odalia's going to kill Diana-"

"And Akko and Luz," Sucy said, turning to Hannah with a glare.

"And Luz," Hannah finished before she got up from the chair and ran to the front door. "We need to save them."

"What?! But what about the quest-"

"Amanda!"

"Alright," Amanda groaned before she slowly got up from her chair. "Sorry dude but my mom wants me to go help my friends."

"Wait, what?!" The old wizard guy asked before he got up from his seat with a shocked look on his face. "B-But what about the quest, don't you all want to go one before you leave?"

"Not really," Sucy said flatly with a shrug before she got up from her seat and followed Amanda, who deflated, to Hannah who was waiting for them with a worried look on her face.

"Wait?!"

Turning their heads, the girls saw the old wizard guy run up to them with a worried look on his face.

"Uh, might I interest you all in another cup of tea before you leave," The old wizard guy said while the tea was making itself.

"Uh no," Hannah said bluntly with a frown. "You just told us about this Odalia Blight and if what you said is true, then our friends are in danger."

"Akko couldn't stay out of trouble for more than five seconds," Sucy grunted while shaking her head. "Wonder what she got herself into now."

"Yeah, listen dude, it was fun for a while, but our friends need us," Amanda said, now sounding serious, making Hannah turn to her with a shocked look on her face.

"B-But w-what about the quest-"

"Oh, my nines! We don't have time for this, Sucy," Hannah said with a groan in frustration.

"Got it," Sucy said, pulling out a dark green potion before throwing it to the old wizard guy.

The dark green potion hit the old wizard guy's clothes as the glass broke and acid started to come from his body making his eyes widen in shock.

"What is this?" The old wizard guy asked before he felt his body bleed in pain.

"Am I melting! N-No, this can't be! I'm melting! Melting!" The old wizard guy screamed out as his skin and clothes slowly melted to nothing but a bone skeleton that showed some kind of octopus with red blood around it.

Amanda and Hannah had horrified looks on their faces while Sucy cackles evilly.

Akko, Diana, Lotte, Barbara, Amity, Luz, even Odalia had horrified looks on their faces as Sucy told them what happened before Sucy started laughing sinisterly.

After a few minutes of silence, Odalia shook her head and said sharply "While I am impressed, and horrified at what your friend did, this does not change anything. You came to my home and destroyed my necklace. Thus, you shall be punished. Amity, deal with them and maybe I won't ground you."

"Yes, mo-Wait, what?!" Amity started before she realized what her mother said and turned to her mother with a look that said, 'Are you serious?'

"Mom, did you not hear what their friend just said," Amity said pointing to Sucy who was still laughing like a mad woman. "She had a potion that killed someone without even touching them and could out rank Boscha's potions in Hexside and you want me to fight her?!"

This got Sucy to stop laughing and raised an eyebrow with interest.

She didn't know who this Boscha is, but it sounds like a challenge.

"Amity, I order you," Odalia commanded, sending her daughter a hateful glare. "Take care of these human's and that thing with the potions-"

"Ouch-"

"Or you will be grounded for a week!"

"Yeah, I would rather have that girl kill me with her potions," Amity said bluntly with a flat look on her face.

"I'm a Blight, not suicidal."

That caused Akko, Barbara, and Hannah to blink twice before they slowly turned to Diana whose face flushed red in embarrassment at what Amity just said.

"Shut up, girls," Diana muttered with her face flushed red in embarrassment.

"Oh nines, now there's two of them," Amanda groaned out in irritation.

Amity turned to Amanda with a confused look on her face and asked in confusion "Excuse me?"

"Not important!" Odalia shouted in irritation before turning to Amity in anger. "Amity, take care of these human's or I will kill this human myself!"

Everyone turned to see the purple ghost pointing it's left sharp claws to Luz's neck making the Latina girl flinch uncomfortably making the girls and Amity start to get worried.

However, before anyone could say anything, King jumped on top of Odalia's head and started to mess with her, making Odalia scream in anger and rage.

The crystal ball fell out of Odalia's hands and landed on the ground as the glowing purple ghost vanished with Luz falling and landing on the ground with a thud.

Amity was the first one to run up to Luz and asked in worry "Hey, are you ok?"

Luz winced before looking up to Amity with a nod and said "Yeah, I'm good."

Amity gave a nod before she and Luz turned to see Odalia grabbing King and throwing him over the two girls and looked to see Odalia was a mess with her hair bun undone, letting her hair down and her face had cuts that could heal with time.

Luz and Amity started to get worried when they saw Odalia glare down at them, at Luz with so much hate that could kill.

"Very well, have it your way," Odalia said in a growl before she grabbed the crystal ball and the glowing ghost with its claws out appeared again. "What happens next is on all of you for attacking me at my home!"

The glowing ghost floated to Luz and Amity at such speed that it made Luz and Amity freeze in place, making both girls jump in shock.

Before anyone could say anything, the glowing purple ghost raised its left sharp claw and moved it down to Luz's face.

An ear-piercing scream rang out making Odalia give a victorious grin as she watched as the human put a hand on her face where it was bleeding from the strike while Akko and the girls had horrifying looks on their faces.

"Luz!" Akko shouted in worry before she and the other girls ran up with Diana checking on Luz who had tears in her eyes.

"It looks like she can still see but it's going be a scar if not treated," Diana said looking to see the bleeding three claw purple mark on Luz's right eye and down to her chin with a worried look on her face.

"Can you treat it?" Amity couldn't help but ask, sounding worried and concerned for Luz.

"If we had our wands and batteries then I could heal it or treat Luz's wounds," Diana said sadly before she shook her head and gave a serious look on her face. "We need to take her back to the Owl House. I can treat her wound there. Amanda."

Amanda gave a nod and without saying a word gently picked Luz up in her arms before getting up to her feet herself.

Diana and the girls slowly got up to their feet with Diana turning to Amity and asked softly "Would you like to come along, Amity?"

"Me?" Amity asked to get up to her feet with a shocked look on her face before she turned to see Luz trembling in Amanda's arms making her bite her lip in worry and fear. "W-Will she be, ok?"

"That's what we were hoping for," Diana said before she bent down to Amity's level with Amity turning to see her give a small smile on her face. "You can come with us if you want, and you won't have to worry about your mother doing anything to you."

"For now," Amity muttered bitterly but couldn't help the worriedness for the human she was feeling overtake her before she gave a small nod with a worried look on her face. "Ok, I'll go with you but just to see if she'll make it."

Diana gave a nod of understanding before she stood up to her feet before she and the other girls started to walk back to the Owl House with Amity following next to Diana with a worried look on her face.

"Amity Blight, you get back here this instant!" Odalia's shout was heard but Diana put a protective hand on Amity's back to try and comfort her through the walk which shocked Odalia whose eyes widened in shock. "How dare you ignore me?! Do you want your friend expelled fr-"

She was cut off when an abomination gag came on her mouth making her scream in anger and rage.

All the while, Amity had a smirk that didn't go unnoticed from Diana who gave a smile of satisfaction of her own.

Never in her life did she feel more relaxed with the peace and quiet like right now.

The walk back to the Owl House was silent with the only sound being Luz's whimpering while Amity looked on with a worried look on her face.

Once they made it to the Owl House, Hooty saw Luz hurt, making him start to get worried as he didn't say anything and opened the door for them.

They all walked in and were greeted with Eda sitting on the couch with a cup of apple blood in her right hand as she looked at them with a smirk.

"So, how was dealing with-Wait, what happened to Luz?" Eda asked while getting up from the couch when she saw Luz and the purple claw mark on her face making her start to get worried.

She turned to see Diana looking down in shame and regret, making her raise an eyebrow in suspicion.

"I-It was my fault," Diana whispered out with her voice sounding guilty and ashamed. "I took the necklace from Odalia and tried to bring it back here."

Diana began to explain what happened to Eda and the other girls while King and Amity looked to Luz in worry and concern.

At the end, Eda gave a groan and said flatly "Oh kid, what are you, suicidal?"

"I'm sorry," Diana whispered, turning to Luz with tears in her eyes. "I didn't mean for this to happen."

"Yeah, well," Eda said in a grumble before she turned to see Luz covering the now purple scar with tears in her eyes with a worried look on her face. "As much as I want to see the look on Odalia's face after the King messed her up, Luz comes first."

"I'll go and get a rag with water on it," Barbara said, running to the kitchen to get a watery rag.

"Set Luz on the couch, Amanda," Eda said, sounding worried.

Amanda gave a nod before walking over and gently sat Luz on the couch with a worried look on her face.

"By now," Eda said, turning and walking up to the couch before being down to inspect the scar on Luz's face. "The injury will leave a scar that won't be going away anytime soon but that doesn't mean it won't stink if you touch it after a while."

"Can you fix it?" Akko asked with a worried look on her face. "Get the scar off of Luz's face."

"Sorry, kid," Eda said softly with a worried look on her face. "Even though I'm the most powerful witch, even I have my limits and besides, I specialize in potions, not healing magic."

Lotte turned to Sucy and asked in worry "Sucy, do you have a potion that could help Luz?"

Sucy shook her head and said with her voice sounding worried "I don't have a healing potion, that's back at Luna Nova. Plus, I'm running out of potions as it is."

Hannah gave a frown and said "Guess you were right, that Odalia really is a heartless bitch."

"Heh, welcome to my world," Eda said with a chuckle before she turned to see Barbara run back in the room and gave her the now wet rag.

With a nod, Eda turned to Luz before softly and carefully put the wet rag on the purple scar on Luz's face making Luz winch in pain.

"Sorry about that, kid," Eda said, sounding worried before she saw Luz take the rag and put it on her face while she let go.

"It's alright," Luz grunted out before wincing at the stings of the wet rag. "Thanks Eda."

She turned to see Amity walk up to her with a worried look on her face making her give a small chuckle.

"Your mom's not a nice person," Luz said earning a chuckle from Amity who gave a small smile.

"Yeah well, I would take bitch as well," Amity said with a small chuckle.

"That too," Luz said with a chuckle of her own before giving a gulp. "Sorry for breaking that necklace, even though that was King's doing, not mine."

"It's fine," Amity said gently with a shrug before she gave a heavy and frustrated sigh. "Even though I'm going to be grounded when I get home tonight."

"Huh, what for," Amanda said, sounding confused with a shrug.

Amity shook her head and said bitterly "Because I didn't help her deal with you human's and followed you back to... Whatever this place is."

"So, your mother is strict," Sucy said simply with a shrug before raising a questionable eyebrow. "How strict are we talking here?"

"Really strict," Amity said bluntly before she slowly gripped the necklace in her right hand and gulped hesitantly. "This is called an Oracle necklace. Oracle magic is one of the nine magic in the coven system but I'm part of the Abomination's Coven. The people who can make an Abomination like what you all saw earlier today."

"Huh, now that I'm thinking about it, you did make a purple glowing circle and that abomination thing did show up from the ground," Amanda said, sounding interested with a smirk.

Hannah rolled her eyes and said flatly "We can't do magic like Eda and Amity here, genius."

"Hey, a girl can dream, can't she," Amanda said flatly with a shrug.

Hannah sighed before she remembered something and shook her head.

"Wait, why are you even here?" Hannah asked, looking at Amity with a frown. "Aren't you on your mother's side or something."

"I," Amity started to say before she slowly looked down to the oracle necklace with a sad look on her face before sighing sadly. "It's a long story."

Hannah gave a groan in irritation before she and the others turned to see a crow fly through the doorway and land in Amity's hands which the girl started to get scared and worried.

"Oh no," Amity whispered in worry before she gave a hesitant gulp in fear. "H-Hello?"

"Amity Blight!" Everyone jumped at the sound of Odalia Blight's angry shout with Amity giving a gulp in fear. "How dare you go with those disgusting humans and that animal with them!"

Akko and her friends started to have frowns on their faces with Diana slowly clenching her fists in anger.

"But mother-"

"No butts young lady!" Odalia shouted in anger which made Amity freeze in place. "You will return home, immediately."

"Y-Yes mom," Amity whispered sadly knowing what's going to happen when she gets home tonight. "I'm on my way."

With that, Amity ended the call before letting the crow go as it flew away while she gave a sad sigh.

"I'm sorry," Amity said sadly before she slowly got up to her feet with a hesitant gulp. "But I need to go before I'm late."

"Late, you can't seriously expect us believe that your mommy would-"

"Yes, she would," Amity said, cutting Amanda off whose eyes slowly widened in shock.

"Wait, really?" Amanda asked with a shocked look on her face.

"You have no idea," Amity said bluntly with a scoff before looking down to the ground. "Also, without the necklace I can finally hear myself think for once."

"Huh, what's that supposed to mean?" Amanda asked, sounding confused.

"Nothing," Amity said quickly before she turned and ran out of the Owl House with a worried and scared look on her face.

"Wait," Luz called out before she got up from the couch and ran out of the house.

Amity stopped and turned to see the human run out of the house with a small smile.

"Uh, thanks for, you know... not trying to kill us," Luz said with a small smile.

Amity gave a small nod and said "Yeah, no problem. Besides, I'm not that suicidal after hearing your potions friends story."

"Sucy's not my friend," Luz said with a scoff good naturedly. "She's more Akko's friend then mine."

"Hey!"

"Well, she's not wrong."

"Sucy!"

Luz and Amity froze when they heard Akko and Sucy's banter before they started to laugh together.

Luz couldn't help but give a small smile when she saw Amity's laugh.

"I need to go," Amity said while she slowly stopped laughing and gave a small smile. "See you around, human."

"Luz," Luz said just before Amity turned around and looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"What?" Amity asked with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

"My name, it's Luz," Luz said with a small smile.

Amity was taken aback by this before she gave a small nod and said with a small smile "Luz. I'm Amity Blight."

Luz gave a small nod before she stretched her free hand out to Amity who slowly took it and shook it.

With a small nod, Amity turned around before muttering softly "I'll see you around, Luz, Akko, Diana."

Turning their heads, Luz and Amity saw Diana and Akko standing at the doorway with smiles on their faces.

Amity gave a small nod to Diana who nodded back before she turned around and started to walk away from the Owl House.

"Do you really think you can help her?" Akko asked, turning to Diana with a raised eyebrow and a worried look on her face.

Diana gave a sigh and said honestly "I honestly don't know, Akko. But I like to think that this was a start of something for her."

Akko gave a small nod before she turned to see Amity Walk away as a worried look appeared on her face.

"I hope you're right about this," Akko whispered with a worried look on her face. "Hope you're right."

"Me too," Diana agreed with a worried look on her face as well before she turned to Luz and gave a small sigh. "For now, Luz, let us go to your room so I can treat your scar."

Luz gave a small nod before she turned around and started to walk back in the Owl House with Akko and Diana turning and following her in the house with Akko closing the door behind her.

While Luz, Akko, and Diana walked up stairs to Luz's room, Hannah, Amanda, Barbara, Lotte, and Sucy turned to each other with Hannah crossing her arms with a frown.

"So, find anything in the library that might help us get home," Hannah said with a frown.

"No," Barbara said sadly, looking down and shaking her head with a sigh. "It's like no one ever heard of multiverse or world traveling in the isles."

"Since it's only Eda's portal that can travel to Luz's human realm, it makes sense," Sucy said with a shrug.

"And there's no Nightfall," Lotte said with a scowl on her face.

Barbara nodded alongside Lotte with a scowl of her own and grumbled "What kind of place that doesn't have Nightfall?"

"Please tell me you two didn't abuse the internet to look for Nightfall," Hannah said with a groan.

Lotte and Barbara both flinched with Barbara muttering out "M-Maybe at first."

"Great, so, we still have no way to go home," Amanda said with a groan of her own.

"Guess all we can do now is wait and hope that something happens that'll help us go home," Hannah said simply with a shrug.

"Who put you in charge?" Sucy asked, turning to Hannah with a glare.

"Well, besides Diana-"

"And Akko-"

"I'm the smartest one in the group since two of you will go all fangirl on Nightfall, the other one is litterialy creepy and makes potions to kill someone, and the last one is a literal tomboy."

"Hey!" Amanda shouted in exasperation.

"Am I wrong?" Hannah asked, looking at the four girls with a flat look on her face.

Lotte and Barbara slowly looked down with guilty looks on their faces, Sucy gave a shrug and said bluntly "That's fair." and Amanda crossed her arms and looked away with a huff.

Hannah gave a nod and said with a grin "That's what I thought."

Barbara gave a pout before she thought of something and gave a grin on her face.

"So, who else thinks that Amity is a mini version of Diana?" Barbara asked with a grin.

"Oh, definitely," Hannah said without thinking twice and gave a nod.

"Yup," Sucy said simply with a shrug.

"Yes," Lotte said with a smile.

Amanda huffed and said "I wouldn't be surprised if Cavendish and that Amity girl ma-"

"Do not finish that sentence," Hannah said sternly, giving Amanda a stern glare that made Amanda flinch a little. "For nine's sake Amanda, Luz and Amity are two or three years younger than us. Besides, I'm kind of rooting for Luz and Amity to get together after seeing Amity rush after and check on Luz back there."

"It was so romantic," Lotte said dreamingly.

Sucy rolled her eyes and said flatly "That was a one-time thing, and we all know it."

"I don't know~" Barbara said teasingly with a teasing grin. "Did you see the way Amity smiled at Luz before she left?"

"Or the way they laughed together," Lotte added, turning to Barbara with a teasing smile of her own.

"Geez, what are you two, a couple of high school girls?" Amanda asked with a grin and a chuckle.

"Well, we are still in high school, Amanda," Lotte said simply with a shrug.

"Even if it's a magic school like Luna Nova," Barbara added with a shrug of her own. "But it's still a high school, nonetheless."

Amanda gave a groan and grumbled under her breath "Alright fine, sorry."

Hannah couldn't help but roll her eyes before giving a small smile and said, "You're learning."

"What do you mean by learning?" Amanda asked, turning to Hannah with a glare.

Hannah shrugged and said, "You'll learn when you're older."

"Or when you stop messing around and learn to take things seriously," Sucy said bluntly with a shrug. "I mean, you did want to do that quest thing that the wizard guy was talking about before I killed him."

"What wizard guy?"

The girls all turned to see Eda walking up to them with her arms crossed and raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Oh, we met an old wizard guy who was talking about us going on some quest shit," Amanda said simply with a shrug before giving a pout and crossing her arms. "Before Sucy killed him with her potion."

"He wouldn't leave us alone and kept wanting us to do some stupid quest until we've had enough, and I used my potions to turn him into nothing but octopus' bones and blood," Sucy said with a small cackle that made the other girls and King start to get scared.

Eda cringed at that before she remembered something and shook her head.

"Wait, what's this about a quest and octopuses' guy?" Eda asked, sounding suspicious with narrowed eyes.

Sucy turned to Eda with a raised eyebrow and asked, "You know him?"

"Was there a castle?" Eda asked to which Amanda, Hannah, and Sucy all nodded in unison before she gave a groan. "Then yes, I know him. Or knew him now. He's no wizard, he's what you guys call a puppeteer. He specializes in scamming and manipulating people to get what he wants."

As Eda's words sank in, Amanda's eyes slowly widened in realization while Hannah started to get angry.

"Nines fucking damn it, I knew there was something off with that guy!" Hannah shouted in anger and frustration.

"S-So, he was just using me," Amanda whispered in shock before her anger started to grow. "Mother fucking damn it! That bitch, nobody makes fun of Amanda O'Neil and gets away with it!"

"He's already dead," Sucy said flatly with a shrug. "You can't do anything about it anymore."

"Wait, then how do you know about him?" Barbara asked, turning to Eda with a confused look on her face.

"Oh, I saw him stand a while back while selling my potions," Eda said simply, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "He was probably trying to come after me for stealing his customers or something."

"Does everyone have beef with you, Eda?" Lotte asked with her arms crossed and a knowing look on her face.

"Yeah, pretty much," Eda said with a grin on her face. "I told you all I'm the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles-"

"Also, the most wanted witch in the Isles," King said flatly pointing to Eda's wanted poster that was on the wall in front of them by the couch.

Eda rolled her eyes and said with her arms crossed "You're just jealous."

King rolled his eyes and was about to say something when he and the others turned to see a crow in the open door and land in Eda's hand making everyone start to get confused.

"Hello?" Eda said through the crow phone.

"Miss Eda, it's Amity," Amity's voice came from the crow's phone, making Eda start to get confused.

"Wait, how did you get my number?" Eda asked, sounding confused.

"I just told the crow to go to the Owl House," Amity said, quickly sounding impatient. "Anyways, I need you to bring those two humans here. Diana and Luz. It's an emergency."

"Why? What's going on, baby Blight?" Eda asked, sounding serious before chuckling at the nickname she gave the youngest Blight.

"Something happened with that Sucy's girl potion, and the fire is dying out but there's something they need to see before it's all gone," Amity said, sounding worried and nervous. "Just get here, hurry!"

With that, the call ended making everyone start to get confused.

"Well, that's not ominous at all," Sucy said with a questionable eyebrow.

"Do you think it's a trick?" Barbara asked with a worried look on her face. "After meeting Amity's mom, it could be a trick."

"Then why did Amity sound worried?" Lotte asked with a worried look on her face.

"Only one way to find out," Eda said before letting go of the crow phone and turning to the other girls and King. "Orange hair, potions girl, black hair girl, you three stay here in case something happens, King, you stay with them," Eda said before turning and walking up stairs. "I'll go and get Luz, Diana, and Akko then we're going to see what's going on."

"How is it that you know their names but not ours?" Barbara asked, sounding annoyed by this.

"Just let her have this," King said flatly with a deadpan look on his face.

Amity slowly walked out of her mother's office with a sigh.

As soon as she came home from the owl lady's house, her mother called her to her office and got scolded before getting grounded for not fighting that potion's girl who still scared her even if she was running out of potions after stopping the abomination she created earlier.

After hearing their story, how could her mother even think that she could have a chance of stopping the human's that destroyed the necklace that made her life horrible for years.

There was also that Diana and Luz girl which made her look down with a frown on her face.

She didn't know anything about that Diana girl, but she acted like she knew her and watching Luz get hurt and get that scar on her face, it made her feel guilty and worried for her.

As much as she is a bully to Willow and acts like a little miss perfect, she wasn't a heartless person like her mother, and she does care about people like how Luz got that scar and the children she spends time at the library.

As much as she wishes she could apologize, she didn't know how since she could guess Luz and Diana don't have scrolls like her.

Plus, if and when her mother buys another oracle necklace then her mother will be breathing down her neck again but for now, at least she could have a few minutes of peace and qu-

"Hey mittens!"

Never mind.

Giving a frustrated sigh, Amity turned to see her two annoying siblings, Emira and Edric Walk up to her with smirks which made her even more annoyed.

"What do you two want?" Amity asked, sounding annoyed.

"Nothing much," Emira said smugly with a shrug. "Just wanted to ask what happened earlier today and why you left school before it was over."

"Awe, becoming a delinquent like us," Edric said dramatically while whipping the tear from his eye.

Rolling her eyes, Amity marched away from her siblings while grumbling "It's none of your titan business."

"How rude," Emira said with a pout on her face. "But, what about that symbol on the fire out in the front yard?"

This made Amity freeze in place before turning to her siblings with a confused look on her face.

"What symbol?" Amity asked, sounding confused.

This got Emira and Edric to turn to each other before turning to Amity with confused looks on their faces.

"The symbol from the fire outside," Edric said, using his thumb to point behind him with a raised eyebrow. "Was it not supposed to be there?"

Amity narrowed her eyes and said sharply "Show me this symbol you're talking about."

Confused, Emira and Edric both gave nods before they led their little sister to the symbol they found.

Amity's eyes widened at what she was seeing.

She and her siblings were standing at the front yard of Blight Manor and where that Sucy girl used her fire potion to stop her abomination as the fire was still going out but that's not what shocked Amity.

No...

What her older siblings said is true.

There really is a symbol on the grass that's made of fire that's slowly going away.

It was a symbol of two circles in a huge one with two triangles on top of each circle with a dot in the middle of the lower circle.

"What do you think it is?" Emira asked slowly, with a shocked look on her face.

"It kind of looks like a magic spell," Edric said, with a shocked look on his face.

Amity's eyes slowly widened before she turned around and ran back in the house.

"Mittens, where are you going?" Emira asked, turning to see Amity running back in the house with a raised eyebrow.

"I need to make a call!" Amity shouted back from inside the house.

After making the call, Amity paced back and forth in front of the burning symbol with a worried look on her face while her siblings stood next to her with Emira turning to her with a frown on her face.

"Alright mittens, who did you call to come here?" Emira asked with a frown.

"Don't worry about it, they will be here soon," Amity said, not turning to see her sister's reaction before she and her siblings heard a voice.

"Amity!"

Looking up, Amity, Emira, and Edric saw Eda flying and landing in front of them with Luz, Akko, Diana, Amanda, and Hannah getting off the staff with her.

"Alright baby Blight, what's the emergency?" Eda asked, looking at Amity with her arms crossed and a raised eyebrow.

"That," Amity said pointing to the fire symbol on the grass.

Eda rolled her eyes before she turned, and her eyes slowly widened at what she was seeing.

Luz, Akko, Diana, Amanda, and Hannah all turned and saw the symbol that was made of fire before Amanda rolled her eyes.

"Seriously, you brought us here to see a bunch of fire," Amanda said dryly, not sounding impressed. "I thought you guys were witches, not cav-Ow!"

"Quiet," Hannah said after smacking Amanda with a cold and stern glare. "Look closer, O'Neil."

Rolling her eyes, Amanda looked again before she saw the symbol and her eyes widened like the rest of them.

"Amity, what is that," Luz whispered before she slowly pulled the wet rag off her eye and walked up to Amity who bent down in front of the symbol.

Bending down next to Amity, Luz looked at the symbol before turning to see Amity pulling out her bag she was carrying and opening it.

Pulling out her notebook and a pencil, Amity wrote the symbol down on paper before tearing and giving it to Luz.

"Here, you guys can look into this when you get home," Amity said, handing the paper to Luz who took it with a nod.

"So, what do you think this is?" Luz asked, turning to the symbol with a worried look on her face.

"I honestly don't know," Amity admitted, turning to the symbol with a worried look on her face. "I've never seen something like this before."

"Interesting," Diana said, looking at the symbol with interest. "I've never seen a symbol like this before."

"Do you think it's something to do with us using magic?" Hannah asked, bending down next to Diana with a raised eyebrow. "Or magic in general."

"I-I don't know," Diana said slowly before she slowly moved her right hand over the small fire and pressed her hand on the ground in the symbol.

Luz, Amity, Akko, Diana, Hannah, Amanda, Emira, Edric, and Eda watched in shock as the symbol and circle slowly started to glow orange making their eyes widen in amazement.

They watched as the circle glowed before it turned into a huge fireball making their eyes widen.

"Wait a second," Luz whispered in shock before she looked down and touched the symbol on it.

Everyone turned to see the symbol on the paper glowed orange before a blast of fire came from Luz's hands making them look on in amazement.

"No way," Hannah whispered in amazement.

"We can do magic again," Akko whispered in shock.

"We can do magic again," Diana whispered in shock.

"We can do magic again," Hannah whispered in shock.

"I can fly a broom again," Amanda whispered in shock before she saw the flat look Hannah was giving her, making her flinch. "I mean, we can use magic again."

Rolling her eyes, Hannah turned to Luz and Amity before grabbing the notebook and pencil.

Without saying another word, Hannah wrote the symbol on the paper before pressing it down.

The symbol glowed orange and turned into a fireball making Hannah give a smirk on her face.

Turning her head, Hannah gave Amanda a smug grin before throwing the fireball at her making Amanda quickly dodge out of the way.

"Hey, what the hell?!" Amanda shouted dodging from the fireball that was thrown at her.

"Good news, we're not magicless anymore," Hannah said smugly before drawing and pressing the symbol, another fireball was made in her hand.

With a smug grin, Hannah threw the fireball at Amanda who dodged it with ease before glaring at her in irritation.

"Stop that," Amanda said, sounding irritated.

"Stop what?" Hannah asked as she was about to make another fireball when Amity grabbed her notebook back with a frown.

"Stop trying to destroy and tear apart my notebook," Amity said with a pout before frowning. "And what did you mean you can do magic again? Who are you all? The truth."

Hannah turned and looked at Amity in bewilderment.

"You do know we're two or three years older than you?" Hannah asked in bewilderment.

"Two," Amity said with a pout before raising an eyebrow. "You all look like sixteen-year-olds like my annoying siblings but you," She looks to Luz who turns to her with a raised eyebrow. "You're my age."

"Uh, lucky guess," Luz said gently before doing small jazz hands.

Amity couldn't help but give a small smile to Luz before she turned to Akko, Diana, Hannah, and Amanda with a frown and raised an eyebrow.

Diana gave a sigh and said, "Guess we can't hide it anymore."

She looked at Amity with a serious look on her face.

She began to tell Amity, Emira, and Edric about Luna Nova and how they got here.

"You really expect me to believe that you're from a human witch school named Luna Nova," Amity said with a scoff.

"And do you really expect me to believe that there's a school here named Hexside," Diana shot back with a scoff of her own.

Amity and Diana stared each other down while Luz turned and whispered to Akko in worry "Should we be stopping this?"

"Beats me," Akko said simply with a shrug.

"Nah, let them have this," Amanda said with a grin on her face.

"I agree," Hannah agreed with a grin of her own. "This is the first time Diana actually had a challenge in front of her."

"What about me?" Akko asked in a whine.

"I'm sorry, who are you again?" Hannah asked not to look at Akko who gave a groan in response while Luz couldn't help but chuckle.

Meanwhile, Amity and Diana were staring each other down with frowns on their faces.

"So, you're a human witch," Amity said with a frown. "I don't see it."

"If I had my wand and battery, I would be happy to show you," Diana said with a frown of her own.

"Ever had any annoying siblings?" Amity asked before turning and glaring at her annoying siblings who had confused looks on their faces before turning back to Diana who rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Try having annoying and unbarring nieces who make fun of the things I like, like Shiny Chariot," Diana said in annoyance.

"Shiny Chariot?" Amity asked, sounding confused.

"That will have to wait another time, I'm afraid," Diana said gently with a small smile before her face turned serious. "Ever had your magic taken away from you when you were young."

"Nope, I was still new to having magic when I was young due to my bailsac," Amity said with a shrug before grimacing. "Ever ended your friendship with your childhood friend?"

"Never had any friends before I met Hannah and Barbara but that was when I started going to Luna Nova in my first year," Diana said before turning to Hannah with a smile.

Hannah gave a smile with a nod.

With a nod, Diana turned back to Amity and asked with a frown "I see you have a rocky relationship with your mom."

Amity gave a frustrated groan and said flatly "You have no idea. If it wasn't the necklace being broken, I would've said something different. You?"

Diana slowly looked down with a sad look and said sadly "My mother passed away when I was young. Died due to an illness."

Amity's face fell as she was about to say something before, she turned to see Luz slowly look down with a sad look on her face making her give a frown before turning back to Diana.

"I'm sorry," Amity said softly with a worried look on her face.

"It's alright," Diana said softly with a small nod. "I've gotten over it, but it will never be a subject I want to talk about."

Amity gave a small nod in understanding and asked hesitantly "And your dad?"

"I never knew him," Diana said gently looking up to Amity with a shrug. "You?"

"Same," Amity said in a groan before she gave a frustrated sigh. "We have our dad but he's barely there to notice us and well, you can guess what happened after that."

"I know the feeling," Diana admitted with a small nod before giving a frustrated sigh. "After my mother passed on and before meeting Hannah and Barbara, I was barely noticed until I closed the lid and started being a-"

"Little miss perfect," Amanda said in irritation before a fireball was thrown her way making her dodge out of the way.

Amity stared at Amanda before turning to see Diana giving a small smile before the two snorted and broke into laughter.

Luz, Akko, and Hannah couldn't help but watch the exchange with smiles on their faces.

"This was... nice," Amity said slowly with a small smile. "I don't know about the magic thing, but this feels nice."

"I agree," Diana said gently with a nod and smiled. "If you would like, I would like to talk more with tea."

"I can agree to that," Amity said with a small nod. "As long as no annoying, unruly siblings are invited."

"Hey!" Emira and Edric both shouted in unison.

"And no annoying American witch who wouldn't shut up for more than five seconds," Diana said with a smirk on her face.

"I can hear you two," Amanda grumbled with her arms crossed and a pout.

"Yes, and we're ignoring you," Hannah said simply with a smirk on her face before she, Akko, Luz, and the others turned to see the sun slowly start to come down.

"Come on, we better head home," Eda said before stretching and cracking her neck. "Hope King or your two friends aren't doing anything crazy back home."

Amity, Diana, Luz, Akko, and Hannah slowly got up to their feet before Amity wrote something down on her notebook and tore the paper off offering it to Diana.

"Here, it's my runes and username on my scroll when you guys get around to getting ones," Amity said with a small smile. "I wouldn't mind continuing the conversation on a private message or something."

Diana gave a smile and took the paper with a nod.

"I would like that," Diana said with a smile.

"As soon as Cavendish gets out of her old age," Amanda said with a grin before Amity made a purple spell circle and a purple gage appeared on her mouth, making her be quiet.

"Finally, someone shuts her up," Hannah said with an amused chuckle as she watched as Amanda tried and failed to get the abomination gauge out of her mouth.

Diana couldn't help but chuckle in amusement before she walked to Eda with Akko following her with a smile.

Luz was about to follow them but stopped when she felt someone stare at her making her turn to see Amity look away with a hesitant gulp before she gave a small smile.

"Um, thanks for helping us in learning how to do magic," Luz said with a small smile.

"I didn't do it for you," Amity said, turning to Luz with a glare but there wasn't any malice in it. "I just did it because my siblings wouldn't stop talking about it."

Luz raised an eyebrow in suspicion and curiosity which made Amity look away with a gulp.

"Ok, I was curious about the symbol my siblings were talking about."

Luz gave a nod before giving a small smile and said gently "Well, thanks anyways."

Amity gave a small nod before turning to Luz with a small smile and said softly "Anytime, Luz."

With a small nod, Luz turned and started to walk up to Eda who stood next to Amanda who was still trying to get the Abomination gage off of her mouth making her blink twice in worry.

"Um, Amity," Luz said gently, sounding worried.

Amity turned to where Luz was looking and gave a frustrated sigh.

"Are you sure?" Amity asked with a raised eyebrow. "We can keep that on her mouth until it gets dark."

"Ami-"

"Now hold on," Hannah said, cutting Luz off before turning to her and Amity with a grin on her face. "This might be good for Amanda."

"Hannah, we cannot keep Amanda gagged like this," Diana said, turning to Hannah with a stern look on her face.

Hannah groaned and said in irritation "Oh, come on Diana, this will be good for Amanda and-"

"Hannah!"

"I just want five minutes of peace and quiet from this dolt!" Hannah shouted childishly while pointing to Amanda with a pout. "If Amity thinks her siblings are annoying, then she hasn't even met this Dinch brain of a delinquent over here!"

Amanda rolled her eyes in annoyance while Hannah's face flushed red in annoyance.

"Did we just hear you say, delinquent?" Emira asked, turning to Edric with a grin. "You hear that, Ed."

"Oh yes I did, sis," Edric said with a grin on his face. "I think we have a fellow delinquent with us that we can pull pranks on-"

"Ok, ok, ok, that's enough," Amity said quickly while making a purple spell circle that dropped the abomination gage that was on Amanda's mouth. "Please leave, now! Before my idiot siblings think of something more annoying."

"Hey, we can hear you!" Emira shouted in exasperation.

"Yeah, don't try and ignore us," Edric said in exasperation as well.

Amity rolled her eyes in annoyance and grunted out "Please leave."

Diana couldn't help but give a small chuckle and said kindly "Alright, we'll leave."

Eda gave a snort before she walked up and sat on her floating staff with a smirk and said, "Alright you four, let's get going before it gets late."

She winched.

"Geez, when did I get responsible? That's usually my sister's thing."

"Wait, you have a sister!" Luz and Akko shouted in shock and amazement.

Eda froze at her misstep before she faltered "I-I-I-uh-"

"We gotta meet her!" Luz shouted, turning to Akko with an excited smile.

"Yeah," Akko agreed with a smile. "This could be better than meeting Diana's Doppelgangers!"

"Hey!" Diana and Amity shouted in unison and in exasperation before turning to each other with shocked looks on their faces.

Luz and Akko turned to Eda with excited looks on their faces.

"Can we meet her, Eda?" Akko asked in excitement.

"Yeah, can we Eda?" Luz asked with puppy dog eyes. "Please!"

"No!" Eda said before making Luz and Akko glow red as they floated and landed on the staff without saying a word.

"I think we've just found Akko's Doppelgangers" Hannah said, turning to Diana and Amity with a grin before her eyes slowly widened in shock and horror. "Oh, my nines, there's two of them! We're all doomed!"

Diana and Amity turned to each other with confused looks before the two began to burst out laughing.

"Alright, we really must take our leave," Diana said as her laughter died down and gave a smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Amity."

"Likewise, Diana," Amity said softly with a smile and nodded slowly. "As well as Hannah, Akko, and Luz."

"What about me?" Amanda complained with a frown.

"Who are you again?" Amity asked, looking at Amanda with a grin on her face.

Amanda looked at Amity in bewilderment before she frowned and grumbled "Amanda O'Neil."

"Yeah, never heard of you," Amity said with a grin.

Amanda gaped in shock before she shook her head and said smugly "I'm the fastest broom rider in Luna Nova back home."

"That's debatable Amanda," Hannah said with a sigh. "Besides, we can't fly a broom here, remember?"

"Yes, I remember," Amanda said with a frustrated grumble and crossed her arms. "I'm still pissed off about that."

Hannah couldn't help but chuckle before she turned and walked up to Eda and the staff.

Amanda gave a grumble before she started to walk to Eda with a frown and her arms crossed.

Diana couldn't help but chuckle softly before following the other girls to Eda's staff.

Getting on Eda's staff, Luz, Akko, Diana, and Hannah turned to Amity with smiles on their faces with Amanda still grumbling while Eda's staff began to float in the sky.

"See you later," Luz called out with a smile on her face.

"Yeah, see you later," Amity said with a small smile and waved at them as they started to fly away from her and her manor.

"Well, what do you know," She heard her sister say, making her give a frown before she turned to see Emira walk up to her with a smile and cross her arms. "Didn't know you could get along with anyone like those humans."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Amity asked with a frown.

Emira rolled her eyes and looked at Amity with a flat look on her face making Amity cringe a little.

"I'm not stupid, Mittens, I know that something happened with you ending your friendship with Willow when you were young," Emira said with a frown before she saw Amity flinch before slowly looking down with a sad and guilty look on her face.

"I-I don't want to go there, Em," Amity whispered, sounding sad and guilty before she slowly turned around and started to walk back in the manner. "I'll be in my room."

Emira watched Amity slowly walk away with a worried look on her face.

She knew that she and Edric weren't the best siblings, but she hoped that these humans, Luz and Diana could snap Amity out of whatever funk she's been in for years but if they can't then she and Edric will have to do it themselves.

But for now, Emira started to walk back in the house with Edric following her with a worried look on his face.

"Um, what's going on with mittens?" Edric asked, turning to Emira who gave a shrug.

"Just, mittens being mittens," Emira simply said with a shrug but couldn't help the worry she was feeling as she and Edric entered their manner while closing the door behind them.

Eda was flying in the sky with her face slowly turning to a worried look on her face before turning to the girls and said gently, "Alright, as much as I hate to do this, we need to set some ground rules."

"Wait, what?" Amanda asked in bewilderment. "But why?"

"Because now that Odalia knows about you and if she tells the emperor, then things will get even worse," Eda said, making Luz and the other girls start to get confused.

"Wait, what emperor?" Hannah asked, sounding confused.

"Oh right, we haven't gone that far yet," Eda said with a small chuckle before her face turned serious. "Emperor Belos is the one who rules over Boonesborough and the Isles with his emperor's coven, also is an unruly pain up my ass."

The girls all turned to each other with worried looks on their faces before turning back to Eda.

"But, you can stop him if something happens, right?" Luz asked, sounding worried with a worried look on her face.

Eda gave a bitter chuckle and said honestly "Nah, I don't think I can. Besides, if I wanted to end Belos right now then I would have the whole Isles coming after me and I'd be dead right about now."

"Then, Odalia," Diana said softly while her voice sounded bitter.

Eda gave a shrug and said "You guys got the easy route, if Odalia wanted to she would've reported all of you to the emperor's coven and you all would meet Belos in person."

That sent shivers down each of the girls, even Luz who gave a shuttering gulp in fear.

"B-But you're the most powerful witch on the Isles," Amanda said with her voice sounding worried.

"Y-Yeah, can't you save us if things go that far?" Akko asked with a worried look on her face.

"Eh, if it was Lily then I might be able to talk some sense into her," Eda said simply with a small smile and a shrug before giving a worried look on her face. "But the emperor's coven as a whole is a different story. Like I said when you asked me to heal Luz's scar, I might be the most powerful witch on the isles but even I have my limits."

She turned to face the girls with a serious look on her face that made the girls start to tense up in fear.

"Now that Odalia knows all about you she won't hesitate to contact the emperor's coven if you step out of line with her. So, I need you five to promise me to stay away from Odalia Blight, you can hang around with their kids since Amity is probably starting to take a liking to Diana and Luz," Luz and Diana slowly smiled at that before slowly turning back to fear. "But if anything happens with Odalia or something like this happens again, you come and get me, understand?"

The girls all nodded slowly with worried looks on their faces.

"Alright, I'll tell Lotte, Barbara, and King the same thing when we get home. But first things first." Eda gave a smirk before turning forward and stopped the flight.

This got the girls confused with Hannah asking in confusion "Hey, why did you stop?"

"Turn your head," Eda said softly before she turned and sat on her staff with a smile.

Confused, Hannah turned, and her eyes slowly widened in amazement.

Akko, Diana, Luz, and Amanda turned before their eyes slowly widened at what they were seeing.

From where they were flying, they could see a perfect view of the titan's skeleton while the sun was setting behind the skull.

"It's beautiful," Hannah whispered in amazement while turning and sitting on the staff.

"Yeah," Akko whispered in agreement before transiting and sitting on the staff herself. "I've never seen anything more beautiful like this before."

"What about-"

"Ok, second most beautiful thing in the world," Akko finished with a nod. "Nothing beats going to space."

"Wait, you went to space," Luz said, turning to Akko in amazement. "How?"

"Flying broom," Akko said with a cheeky grin. "And thanks to Amanda's rebellion for stealing the broom, me and Diana could've died back there."

"Indeed," Diana said looking at the view of the isles with a smile on her face before shaking her head fondly at the memory. "I guess your rebel Ness has some uses, Amanda."

Turning her head, Diana saw Amanda crossing her arms and giving a childish pout making her raise an eyebrow.

"Did I say something wrong?"

"I got played," Amanda grumbled with a frown. "Me, Amanda O'Neil got played and was too stupid to want to go on a stupid quest."

"Then why did you do it in the first place?" Luz asked, turning to Amanda before she saw Amanda give a groan in frustration.

"I don't know," Amanda groaned out in frustration. "I just... wanted to do something and... really wanted to get that treasure."

She gave a frown and turned to Eda with a raised eyebrow.

"Wait a second, how did you know about that octopus's trick, Eda?"

The girls all turned to see Eda giving a sigh.

"Look kids, everyone wants to believe their 'chosen'," Eda said with air quotes. "But if we wait around for some prophecy or something like that to make us special, we'd die waiting,"

She turns and gives the girls a small smile.

"Which means you all need to choose yourself."

Amanda gave a frown before looking down with a pout.

Hannah saw this before she got an idea and turned to Eda.

Whispering something in Eda's ear, Hannah watched as Eda gave a smile before making an orange spell circle.

Luz, Akko, Diana, and Hannah all glowed orange before they were levitated off the staff and moved around on the staff with Hannah sitting next to Amanda who was still looking down with a pout.

Hannah looked at Amanda with a worried look on her face before she gave a small sigh and smiled slightly.

"You know, I wouldn't have minded going on a quest with you if that wizard guy wasn't killed by Sucy," Hannah said looking at Amanda with a small smile.

Amanda gave a bitter chuckle and said "I don't really care about the quest, I'm madder that I've been duped so easily. I mean, I'm Amanda O'Neil! I'm the best broom rider in Luna Nova and I got tricked so easily!"

Hannah rolled her eyes before giving a sigh and asked bluntly "Can you not be so selfish for five minutes?"

"Heh, that's rich coming from you," Amanda said bitterly before she turned and was taken aback by how close she and Hannah were before shaking her head and gave a scowl. "Coming from one of the bitches' witches in Luna Nova. Do you know how annoying it was to hear you defend and hear you two kissing Cavendish's asses twenty-four seven."

"We don't," Hannah started to say bitterly before she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "You know what, never mind. I don't care what you or Sucy think of me and Barbara but as much as I hate to admit it, I know what I did during our time in Luna Nova was... wrong, I'm sorry."

Amanda looked to Hannah with a raised eyebrow before sighing and said with a shrug "Thanks, I guess."

Hannah faltered and growled out "You guess, are you kidding me? You know, there's more to me than being Diana's pet bitch!"

"Heh, prove it," Amanda said bitterly with a grin on her face.

"I would but we're on a staff and if we fall then we could die," Hannah said bluntly before she saw Amanda falter at remembering they were still on the staff.

"Uh, good point," Amanda said before giving a sigh and turned to the sunset with a slight chuckle. "It sure does look like a good sunset."

Hannah gave a nod before turning and looking at the sunset with a small smile.

Without saying a word, Hannah slowly leaned her head on Amanda's shoulder making Amanda's eyes widen before turning to Hannah in shock.

"Uh Hannah, what are you-"

"Don't push it," Hannah grunted out before giving a sigh. "Besides, as much as I hate to admit it, I wasn't the best person when we were at Luna Nova."

"Heh, understatement of the-"

"Ahem," Hannah coughed sharply, making Amanda flinch uncomfortably. "You're already on thin ice with me as it is, O'Neil."

"Uh right, sorry Han," Amanda said softly with a small chuckle.

Hannah gave a grin and said, "I told you, you're learning."

Amanda rolled her eyes playfully before she and Hannah turned and looked at the sunset with smiles on their faces.

Akko and Diana watched the interaction with Hannah and Amanda with smiles before turning to each other.

"Well, I think we've got those two settled," Akko said with a smile on her face.

"I agree," Diana said with a smile and nodded.

After a few seconds of silence, Akko remembered something and said slowly "So, about that Amity girl."

Diana's smile slowly fell and looked down with a sad look on her face.

"I don't know what to do about that Amity girl," Diana admitted with a sad and guilty look on her face. "What Amity is going through thanks to her mother Odalia-"

"Reminds you of what you went through before Luna Nova," Akko finished for Diana who gave a small nod with her fists slowly clenched.

"I-I want to help her, Akko. What I went through wasn't as bad as what Amity's going through with Odalia but even so, I want to help her through it, even if she might not want it."

Akko gave a small nod of understanding before thinking about it and said softly "I think what happened today with the necklace and Luz was the start of something happening to Amity. I don't know if we can do anything to help but we can't force this into Amity."

Diana gave a small nod before she gave a small chuckle and said softly "This coming from the girl who came to my home and dragged me back to Luna Nova until the incident with my aunt and her daughters is done."

Akko looked away with a pout on her face and grumbled "That's not what I meant Diana and you know it."

"Yes, I know," Diana said with a soft giggle before slowly looking down with a worried look on her face. "But I think you're right, giving Amity space would help her with what she's going through."

Akko couldn't help but turn to Diana with a smile and said with a chuckle "Just don't push Amity too far if she's not ready. Plus, I don't think this will be the last time we see Amity again."

"I sure hope so," Diana said worriedly with a small nod.

Akko gave a small nod before she slowly turned to see the sunset with a smile on her face.

Diana slowly turned to see the sunset with a small smile and said "The sun really is beautiful."

Akko couldn't help but agree with Diana as she gave a small nod. There was silence between Akko and Diana as the two looked at the sunset with smiles on their faces.

After a few minutes of silence, Diana slowly looked down with a sad look on her face as the memories of everything she did in the past came back to her and said softly "I guess I never thank you for coming to my home and dragged me back to Luna Nova or apologize for treating you harshly back at Luna Nova."

Akko turned to Diana with a confused look on her face and asked in confusion "What? But you did thank me, back when we were flying back home to your mansion."

"Manner," Diana corrected before sighing. "However, that is still no excuse for my behavior for how I treated you back in Luna Nova. So, I apologize and I wish to start things over while we're here in the Isles."

Akko blinked twice in shock before she started to burst out laughing which made Diana blink twice in shock and confusion.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Diana," Akko said trying to stop her laughter and gave a smile on her face. "It's just you already apologized back on our way home from you mansion-"

"Akko-"

"Ok, ok, I'm sorry Diana," Akko said with a chuckle before her face turned a little sad and guilty look on her face. "Though, to be honest, I wasn't the nicest person before finding out Ursula was Shiny Chariot and acted like a child during our year at the school. I should be saying sorry to you as well."

Diana couldn't help but give a small smile and said softly "I guess we both are sorry,"

She raised her right hand to Akko.

"Friends."

Akko's eyes widened at the offered hand before she gave a small smile and took the offered hand, shaking it.

"Friends," Akko said with a smile before she remembered something and gave an excited smile. "Wait, did you just apologize to me?"

Diana knew what Akko meant as she looked away with her face flushed red with a pout.

"N-No, I did no such thing," Diana stuttered out with a gulp.

"Say it again!" Akko said in excitement.

"Absolutely not," Diana said with her arms crossed and shook her head.

"Awe, are you being bashful?"

"I'm not bashful, Akko!"

"But why is your face flushed red?"

"Stop this Akko since it's clear you need to learn how to appreciate other people's feelings."

"But just one time!"

"I said no!"

"Please!"

"I will push you off this broom!"

"You mean staff?"

"Akko!"

Luz and Eda watched this exchange with fond chuckles before Luz turned to Eda with a smile.

"Thanks for this, Eda," Luz said with a smile.

"No problem, kid," Eda said with a smile before she and Luz turned and looked at the sunset with smiles on their faces.

After a few minutes of silence, Luz slowly looked down and whispered out "I hate how Lotte, Barbara, Sucy, and King aren't here."

That caused Akko, Diana, Amanda, and Hannah to turn to her and Eda with worried looks on their faces.

"Eh, I wouldn't worry about that," Eda said simply with a shrug and a slight smile on her face. "Now King, he would find a way to make it work for the other three kids."

Luz and the other girls gave small nods before turning back to the sunset with smiles on their faces while Luz laid her head on Eda's shoulder and Akko leaning on Diana's shoulder as well making Diana smile at this without saying anything as they all watched the sunset in front of them.

"I can't believe there is no Nightfall in the Boiling Isles," Lotte grumbled with her arms crossed with a growl.

"I know," Barbara agreed sadly, shaking her head. "Maybe we could get into another book series while being in the Boiling Isles."

"Like the Good Witch Azura," Sucy said flatly with a shrug. "Since that's Luz's favorite book and all."

Right now, she, Lotte, and Barbara were sitting on Hooty who extended himself so far so they could watch the beautiful sunset with King sitting next to Barbara while Lotte sat in between Barbara and Sucy.

Lotte thought about it for a second before she shook her head and said sadly "Even so, it just wouldn't be the same."

"Plus, doesn't Luz have book 5 of the Azura series?" Barbara asked with a raised eyebrow in confusion. "Where's the other volumes?"

"Probably back in the human realm," Sucy said with a shrug. "After all, we barely know anything about Luz or her version of the human realm since we got here just yesterday."

That made Barbara and Lotte both frown.

"Not to mention we barely found a way home as it is," Barbara said with a frown on her face before giving a frustrated groan. "It's like the universe doesn't want us to go home right away."

"We did come here just yesterday," Sucy said bluntly.

"I know that but," Barbara started to say before giving a groan. "I just want to read Nightfall again."

"I know what you mean," Lotte agreed solemnly with a nod. Sucy rolled her eyes and said bluntly "You two are even worse nerds than Akko with her Shiny Chariot shit."

"Hey, at least we don't talk about Shiny Chariot twenty four seven like Akko," Barbara protested in a childish wine before she looked to see Sucy's flat look with a raised eyebrow making her flinch slightly. "Shut up, Sucy." Sucy gave a shrug and said "Just saying it's the truth."

"But did you have to say it like that?" Barbara asked flatly with a raised eyebrow.

"No, but I felt like you deserved it," Sucy said with a glare. "Consider it mercy for everything you and the blue team did to me, Lotte, and Akko during our time at Luna Nova."

"Will you ever let that go?" Barbara asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Not unless you three stop being bitches and apologize for the shit you three pulled," Sucy said dryly with a glare.

Barbara was about to say something but stopped herself before she turned and looked at the sunset in front of her.

The memories of what happened back at Luna Nova came back to Barbara who gave a long and frustrated sigh.

"Ok, ok, I know I messed up back at Luna Nova and was a bit of a bitch," Barbara said slowly sounding guilty.

"A bit-"

"Don't push it, Sucy," Barbara growled out turning to Sucy with a glare. "Besides, didn't you keep using Akko as a test dummy for your potions?"

"And, didn't you and England fight Akko because Cavendish was seeing a false future or a possible while you two were laughing at her before a fight broke out-"

"Ok, that's enough!" Lotte shouted in irritation, cutting Sucy and Barbara off who both jumped at this before turning to their glasses wearing friend in shock and worry.

"Lotte?/Are you ok?" Sucy and Barbara both asked with shock and worried looks on there faces.

Lotte took a few deep breaths and said slowly "I know you two are still angry at Chloe and taking your anger out on each other but fighting each other won't help anything."

That caused Barbara to flinch while Sucy rolled her eyes simply.

"Yeah right," Sucy said dryly while rolling her eyes. "More like she's annoying me to no end."

"Oh yeah," Barbara said sarcastically while looking at Sucy with a glare. "Then how about you take King and get back inside until Eda and the others come back."

"Gladly," Sucy said flatly before she grabbed King who let out a "Weh?" and got slid off of Hooty.

After landing on the ground, Sucy walked back in the Owl House with a huff before slamming the door behind her making Lotte and Barbara jump at the sudden sound.

"Uh, sorry about Sucy," Lotte said, turning to Barbara with an apologetic look on her face.

Barbara gave a shrug and said honestly "She's not wrong though."

Slowly looking down, Barbara gave a sad and guilty look on her face that made Lotte start to get worried.

"Are you ok, Barbara?" Lotte asked with a worried look on her face.

Barbara slowly shook her head and said sadly "Sucy wasn't wrong. I know I was a 'bitch' as Sucy would say it before the Noir missile came into play and magic came back into the world," She shook her head with tears welling up in her eyes. "Our world, I mean."

Lotte couldn't help but side hug Barbara with a worried look on her face before she saw Barbara buried her face on her chest and broke down into tears.

"I-I'm scared Lotte," Barbara muttered out with tears in her eyes. "I-I know I didn't look like it or think about it but after seeing Luz get that scar from that Odalia monster, I just couldn't take it anymore and since we didn't have much time to process all this-"

"Hey, hey, hey," Lotte whispered softly while rubbing a circle on Barbara's back with a worried look on her face. "It's ok, Barbara. You can let it all out."

Without saying another word, Barbara began to break down into tears while Lotte didn't say anything and let her have her breakdown.

After a few minutes of silence, Lotte and Barbara broke the hug with Barbara sniffing and Lotte looking at her with a worried look on her face.

"Are you ok, Barbara?" Lotte asked with a worried look on her face.

Barbara gave a small nod and whispered softly "Thanks for that, Lotte."

Lotte gave a small nod before giving a small smile and said softly "I'm here whenever you need a shoulder to cry on."

Barbara's face slowly flushed pink before giving a small smile and softly said "Thank you, Lotte."

Lotte gave a small nod before she and Barbara turned and looked at the sunset with smiles on their faces.

"The sunset really is beautiful," Barbara whispered softly with a soft smile.

"Yes, it really is," Lotte said with a soft smile on her face.

Without saying a word, Barbara slowly laid her head on Lotte's shoulder which made Lotte turn to her with a shocked look before a small smile came to her face.

Without saying a word, Lotte turned and looked at the sunset while unconsciously moving her right hand on Barbara's, which made Barbara give a small smile without saying a word as the two girls watched the sunset with smiles on their faces.

The door slowly opened to the Owl House with Sucy walking out and turned to the two girls who were watching the sunset with a glare before giving a scoff.

Turning around, Sucy gave a grumble and walked back in the house but couldn't help the small smile on her face for her friend.

She didn't know how far this thing with Lotte and Barbara will go but if something happens that made Barbara hurt Lotte then she will show her and the blue team what true fear would be like, regardless if Cavendish could out play with showing true fear.

As much as she hates to admit it, she does grow to care for Akko and Lotte.

Loath as she was to admit it but if anyone tries to hurt her friends like what Odalia did to Luz, then she would make them pay.

Speaking of which, she should talk to Akko and Diana about that Odalia bitch and see if they want to join in on her revenge plan but she will have to wait until later tonight or tomorrow for something like that.

For now, she had to think of a plan for revenge against a certain Odalia Blight and find a work around against that Oracle magic shit.

The next time Sucy meets Odalia, she will make her wish she was never born and she couldn't wait to hear her screams.

While Amity and her siblings were iffy, their mother was the main target for her anger and she was going to make her bleed.

That was a promise.
