Chapter Text
It’d been years since Lloyd last saw the one person that meant everything to him. Well she used to…
He still remembered how she walked away without caring.
Leaving him in this hell..
The blonde clad boy gripped the edge of the sink. Wings flared out. He glanced in the mirror at himself.
Disgusting..
Vile…
He grabbed his wing with his hand, extending it. Taking a knife with his other hand he placed the cold metal blade to the base of the wing.
The door then opened. Dropping the knife Lloyd spun around, looking defensive. Another student at this bastard school stood in the doorway; staring at Lloyd
“Your wings bleeding..” they spoke, pointing it out.
Lloyd glanced at where the blade had pierced his wing, looking back over to the student who stood in the doorway.
“I can tell.”
The student snorted. “You really are salty, arent you?”
Lloyd glared, letting out a huff. “Whatever, just get out! I’m trying to get rid of these things”
“Get rid of what?..your wings?.”
“Yeah..”
“But why? Theyre cool!”
Lloyd froze, pinching his thigh. “Cool?..They made my mom leave me”
“I’m sure thats not the re-“ they tried reassuring Lloyd, only to be cut off.
“Oh yeah? Then why else would a mother leave her freak of a son? Huh? I don’t want your pity. She left me..so just leave” He spat.
The student sighed, placing his hands into the pockets of his pants. “I’ll leave, if you promise not to cut them off”
Again Lloyd froze. “If it gets you out of my hair, then fine.”
The latter smiled, a big crooked grin. “Good. Named brad by the way” he spoke offering Lloyd a hand.
Lloyd shook it, warily; but still shook it. “Lloyd..” he mumbled
Brad smiled some more, “nice to meet ya Lloyd”
Lloyds wings fluttered a bit, noticing he quickly took his band back and wiped them on his hoodie.
Brad stared, slightly tilting his head. “For someone who acts grumpy all the time your wings betray that”
Lloyd gritted his teeth, rolling his eyes and Looking away “like you can read emotions by looking at my wings”
“I can tell them fluttering means your happy”
The blonde boy slowly looked back over towards Brad, “t-that doesnt necessarily mean I’m happy!”
“Sure it doesn’t”
Lloyd glared, looking away with a slight smile. He’s glad he made a friend in this place.
