    After freeing the Dragons from captivity and steering clear away from Imperium for a few months, Lloyd's solo mission on infiltrating the City for more information about the Source Dragon went south— a conversation with the Dragon was overheard by the Claws Of Imperium, revealing that he was part Oni and Dragon which piqued the Empress's interest.

    Too bad that Lloyd was now the interest of the Empress's cruel experiments, seems like she would be getting a new source of power very, very soon.

    (Written before Dragons Rising pt.2)

    Lloyd has been having this reoccurring dream ever since he became the Conduit. He wakes up in this field of gray, a vast expanse of nothing that goes on forever, the void cracks under his feet, and then, in some way or another, he dies.
    In the waking world, he can feel the seams of himself falling apart, and soon, the world starts to fall apart with him.

    He'll have to relearn how to lean on his team if he wants to figure out what's going on, otherwise he genuinely fears he might lose himself to the chaos he's been finding in his own mind. Is it the power of the Source Dragons tearing him apart from the inside? Or is it something deeper, something he has to face within himself?

    There was no longer a distant quality to the sound, it was in front of him, behind a door. Should he knock? Did he need to? Alastor was his husband—even if sometimes he acted like he wasn’t. He opted to simply push open the entryway, hoping Alastor would forgive his lapse in manners.

    Alastor's back was turned. He was fiddling with his staff because of course he was. Of course instead of calling, or swinging by the tower Alastor holed himself up in a brothel and fucked around with his staff. No, it's fine. Vox is here now, he’ll bring Al home, he can spend the rest of the day with his husband. There’s no need to be upset, just cherish the moment.
