Or, after an accidental portal disaster, Tommy ends up on a Server far from the Dream SMP, and meets three hunters whose only objective seems to be killing Dream, and a much different version of Dream, whose only objective seems to be staying alive. (And keeping Tommy alive too, which made absolutely no sense at all.) -

Summary
Tommy didn’t plan to be saved.
He didn’t expect Dream to catch him at the edge—didn’t expect the warmth, the softness, the house hidden deep in the woods. It’s quiet there. Clean. Kind, even. Dream calls him “starlight.” Gives him food, clothes, a place to rest.
But something’s not right.
The house hums with silence that listens too closely. The rules are simple: don’t go into the basement. Don’t open Dream’s door. Easy enough… until it isn’t.
Tommy wants to believe this is recovery. He wants to trust again.

King Philza of the Antarctic Empire had two sons.
Prince Technoblade, the eldest of the two, was originally meant to be King but had chosen to become a knight instead.
And Prince Wilbur also chose against becoming King. He wanted to become a musician, and had chosen against learning his royal duties from a young age, instead enhancing his skills with a guitar.Although Techno was a great knight, and Wilbur was an amazing musician, the Antarctic Empire was left without an heir to the throne.
Until Tommy was born into the kingdom's life.
However, the queen died giving birth to Tommy, meaning he never got to meet his mother. The kingdom was both overjoyed and devastated at the loss and gain.
But rest assured, King Phil would make sure Tommy became King.
He was the Empire's last hope.
Even if that meant forcing Tommy into doing something he hated.
And you already know that Bigman Tommyinnit doesn't like being told to do things he doesn't like.

“The Council has come to a decision.” Antfrost announced. He turned his attention from Bad, to Dream. There was only a spark of sympathy for the man he stared at.
Puffy looked up at the Council. Their sullen demeanor made her heart feel heavy, and her stomach churned.
For the first time since his arrest, she flickered her gaze to Dream, taking in his disheveled state. Covered in blood and hair still damp at his roots from sweat.
Her hands balled into fists, her nails cutting deep against her palm.
“The punishment the Council is in most favor of, for the assassination of the King, is execution.”
OR: Dream is on the run. Moreso, running from consequences.
But he can only run so far.
Everything catches up eventually.

"Then let me leave! I don't- I can't-" Tommy cuts off, chest heaving. When he speaks again, it's steady and slow, the same tone he used when speaking with Ranboo all those mornings ago. Ranboo cringes at the thought that Tommy had been this angry whenever he interacted with him. "I am fine. I have been fine without you for quite some time now, Phil, so don't think you're doing me this glorious favor by keeping me here. You don't get to just keep stringing me along and leaving at every shiny new troubled kid that comes through your door. Either sign the fucking adoption papers or let. Me. Leave."
"I'm leaving. I'll wait out the fucking deadline, and then you'll never hear from me again."

Dream had devised the greatest plan ever to establish his influence over one of L’Manburg’s most prominent figures, Tommy.
He started his masterful plan by leaving a chest full of resources for Tommy at his base with a book inside of it declaring his support for their cause. Whatever said cause might have been. He’d figured out pretty soon that the answer to that question varied depending on who you asked it to. According to Techno, Pogtopia’s mission was fighting tyranny and bringing about anarchy. According to Tommy, it was to get their home back. And according to Wilbur, it was to put an end to his symphony, whatever the fuck that meant.
He let a couple of days go by after leaving his gift, before showing up in the ravine Pogtopia’s few members had hidden inside of. He didn’t want to look too suspicious. Or too desperate.
Unfortunately, when he got there, Tommy wasn’t alone. Wilbur was somewhere down there, mumbling to himself, but he wasn’t a major cause for concern. Tubbo, however, who was sitting on the chest Dream had sent talking with Tommy while glaring daggers at him, was.
