Tommy hits the floor with a thud, limbs aching in every way.
“You fell. Again.” Technoblade looks at him with an expression that Tommy can’t quite seem to place.“Life’s not so easy when you’re not immortal.” Tommy spits back, huffing and pulling himself off the ground. He feels a twinge of fear for snapping at Technoblade like that, but he quickly shatters it.
“You are mortal, yet you stand before me, refusing to give up.” Technoblade replies, tilting his head up slightly.
“You are stubborn, and certainly foolish at times.” Technoblade’s gaze seemed to hold Tommy there, as they stared into each other’s irises.
“But you have a gift that many humans will never have.” The prince pauses, releasing his eyes from Tommy, and attaching them to the window.
“You are brave.”

Instead, he gets yanked into an alternate reality where the gods are real and he's a very-much-alive version of their dead brother. Oh, and also he steals from them by accident, gains their unadulterated attention (it goes badly), and needs to discover his own way home while avoiding the deities he's spited. Well, lt did. After making the stupid decision to kill and revive Tommy, everything went to shit. She now had adorable, "business" visits with Quackity. It was killing him inside, every day since then was a maelstrom of constant pain and suffering, but maybe he can have a new chance to change his life, or to live again.

Two bandits in green hoods were laughing during a fight with other bandits in the forest for the right to rob some baron in the forest. Behind their green hoods, because of the shadows, their faces were almost impossible to see. On their backs there was an emblem, apparently painted by hand with red paint, it represented two wings, one longer and sharper, the other softer, behind the wings there was a circle drawn, and inside the circle, between the wings, an arrow pointing upwards. One guy stood high in a tree, shooting arrows at the enemies, while the other guy was fighting below with daggers. Their teamwork was well coordinated. One by one the bandits fell dead when they were pierced by an arrow or a blade.
"Talon! Watch out!" shouted the guy in the tree, releasing an arrow that hit the wrist of the man who was about to stab Talon with a dagger.
"Sorry, Eye, I got carried away" Talon awkwardly chuckled.

Some residing in this modern hole-in-the-wall some 150 mo- er, years later argue that the changes are for the better. Some say they are for worse.
But what of our protagonist? For every story has one, dear reader, whether the poor soul realises it or not. Where do they stand? How do these laws and demands affect them, their daily life? (For that matter, how are they able to live?)
And what would they do- hypothetically- if everything fell to hell in a handbasket before their very eyes?
...Well. Let's find out together, shall we?
