Basically it's the title. But here ya go.
Tommy was known for pretty much nothing.
He was the weird quiet kid that everyone thought might one day shoot up the school–but he wasn't outright psychotic. The only thing he was even slightly known for was being a little... off his rocker– and well, for not being someone to mess with.
So really, he was known for something.
But when a school shooting and a kidnapping cause Tommy to be thrust headfirst into an unfamiliar and arguably darker part of the world– the real question you need to ask is if his life will change for the better... or for the worse.

It has only been a little over 2 months since Nightmare's life had taken an unexpected turn.
The Essempi mafia was destroyed. The chief and his mentor, Dream was dead. And Nightmare was stripped off of his position as the chief's right hand and forced to have a shot at a normal, peaceful life as a direct order from someone he can't disobey.
After having outshined everyone from his assassin's guild at a young age and lived his entire life being a merciless killer by Dream's side, absorbing all his teachings like a sponge, and becoming an almost legendary feared name in crime circles, the great Nightmare is reduced from the enigmatic Boogeyman people from their line of work covered at the mention of to... Just Tommy.
And the Crafts, having adopted him after a referral from a dear friend, with no clue about his past except that it was not good, seem to prove everything Dream taught him and everything he knew wrong with each passing day.
Maybe there is life outside bloodshed after all.
