Aiden
Age: 19
Scene: A break room in a convenience store
Aiden stands in front of the camera with visible five o’clock shadow and short brown hair. “Is this thing on? Nice! Hi there! I’m Aiden Brooks, and I am looking to get on your show. I know what you're thinking. ‘Wow! What does this guy have to offer that no one else does?’ Weeeelllllll, I have many things to offer for that matter. If your show is looking for some talent, I was a theater kid back in high school. I was told by others that I have a bit of a unique way of talking to people, so I can bring some charisma to the table. Orrrrr, I know how these kinds of shows love relationships, and I am single as they come…” He mumbles under his breath. “Sadly. But! Maybe there's a cute guy I can be that iconic couple with. I bet we’d make for some great thumbnails for these episodes. Oh, and I can also…” A voice cuts him off. “Ah! Coming boss! I gotta go, break over.”
Alec
Age: 29
Scene: A small study space with various books, a desk, and a whiskey bottle with a shot glass
“Salutations, Disventure Camp. I’m Alec Celic, and I’m here to compete for the money. I’m normally not a fan of these shows, dare I say at all. But I know my wife is, and I’m well, in a bind right now. Getting on this show and winning the money could do a lot of wonders for me and my family. A real lifesaver if you would. If you’re worried I’d be too boring, trust me, I’ve been known for calling out people’s bullshit and setting things straight.” A child's voice is heard. “Daniel! Quiet! Father is recording in here. I’ll be out in a minute for snacks. Ughhh….. Look, give me a chance cause I have so few options left. Hold on, Daniel, father's coming.”
Benji
Age: 17
Scene: An empty high school classroom
“Hello, Cisventure Damp! I mean, Disventure Camp! I’m Benji, but you can call me whatever makes you happy! See, I’m gonna be graduating from high school soon, and I wanted one last big hurrah before I went to law school! Hopefully nothing illegal! But that’s crazy, these shows wouldn’t allow illegal stuff on here, haha. Anyway, I feel I have a good head to keep up in the game! And you can ask my friends! Only bumped it nearly a dozen times, and I still got a Grade Point Average of 3.5!” He knocks his head with his hand a few times. “And hey, a little money never hurts! So let me on the game, and I’ll bring my best and only head forward!”
Connor
Age: 48
Scene: An office
Connor spins his office chair to face the camera and pulls down his shades. “How goes it, Disventure Camp!? My name is Connor Blake! Or some people call me C-Man! Ah, not everyone, but many people would. You may think an old guy like me may have no chance on a show like this. Well, I call baloney! Old is an overstatement as I’m not even fifty! I’ll have you know I work well with the crowd very well, both with the other young ones and like those old geezers.” He scratches his neck awkwardly. “Even some of my interns had recommended I join this show as it could help me find those right people and find my crowd! You cool cats would be doing yourself a big solid if you let me join your show. Connor out!”
Fiore
Age: 6
Scene: Bedroom with some toys and books, some of which look a little too advanced for a kid.
Fiore gives an ‘innocent look’ and smiles. “Uh, hi there! I’m Fiore, and I’m six years old. My mommy and daddy want me to participate on this show cause we really need the money. It would mean ALOT to us if you'd give me a chance.” She gives puppy dog eyes before blinking and giving a wicked grin. “HAH! Did I fool you there?! If so, then this competition should be a park walk for any of the dumbasses I have to compete with. You may think im some weak little fuck… first of all fuck you! But knowing how to play people's minds and emotions will more than make up for that. Believe me, once people see how I played them, they’ll wish they went back to grade school to re-learn common sense!”
Gabby
Age: 22
Scene- Gabby’s Bedroom with an assortment of plants, plushies, and animals
“HELLO DISVENTURE CAMP! I am Gabrysia Nowak. But most people call me Gabby, and you can too! Well, where to begin…. Oh! I think you should let me join your show, cause I’m always looking for new friends. It gets….. Kinda lonely at home…. But I usually have my pets to keep me company! But…. having the interaction of another human being helps. Most other people are usually not interested in talking…” Her expression shifts from a neutral/sad look to an aggravated look. “…UGH.. FOR SOME REASON!” Her camera falls over, seeing a few things thrown around, a cat scurries across the screen, before a panicked mumble is heard. “Ah crap! I should cut that last part, just please let me on your show and I promise I won’t disappoint!”
Isabel
Age: 19
Scene: A church as organ music plays in the background
Isabel types something on her phone before turning towards the camera. “Hola mis hermanos y hermanas! I am Sister Isabel Carboni, nineteen years old and a proud sister of the church, dedicating my life to God. I hope to spread this love and dedication to many others out there, and with this show bringing that opportunity, and those who choose not to follow alongside me…. May mercy be put on their souls. Regardless, whatever the outcome may be, may God guide me down that right path to victory.” She clasps her hands together in prayer as the camera cuts to black.
Jade
Age: 26
Scene: An empty college classroom
“Hello Disventure Camp! I’m Jade, a marine biology student and a bright woman with many aspirations! And said aspirations were thanks to my mothers, who were both brilliant minds that showed me what I can achieve. And I want to put the skills and drive I have towards furthering my advancement in marine biology. And before you ask, yes, I have vitiligo…..” She crosses her arms and looks in another direction, before looking back at the camera.. “On another note, reality shows like these have competitors that try too hard to be popular; however, it's more than just being the popular kid in the room, sometimes you gotta take risks, work with the right people, and know how to play the system. If you let me on this show, I promise you I can make a more unique and revolutionary approach in how this game is played.”
Kai
Age: 17
Scene: A forest with a few birds tweeting, and Kai meditating on a log
“Hello, fellow Disventure Camp people. I’m Kai, and I would like to participate in this show to grow an even stronger connection with the wild and even its people. I may not seek material or wealth, but the prize money could help preserve many animals and green lives.” A bird tweets and lands on his shoulder. “And maybe I can even meet some fellow brethren of the wild, too.” The camera statics for a moment before cutting back to show multiple birds on his shoulders. “It almost feels like…. A voice calling me to join.” A fox comes up and nuzzles up to him as he pets it with a smile. “Nature is a true beauty and I want to make its voice heard.” The camera fades again before showing him peacefully surrounded by multiple birds, foxes, butterflies, and a bear. “And I feel called to raise that voice.”
Lill
Age: 47
Setting: A campsite that Lill is setting up
“Good morning, ladies, gentlemen, and those in between!” She salutes the camera. “I am Girl Scout Master Lillian Davis!” She returns to making the campsite. I’ve heard of this show and thought this could be a great opportunity to show my survival skills, leadership attributes, and an honest play. If I can win that money, I could use it to help my troop out! I can tell you this, working with petty adults should be no trouble, as there may be many rough and rowdy children I’ve had to take care of.” She strikes some flint and steel to create a campfire. “And adults are just larger children who need to be guided on the right path. And you can guarantee I am here to help guide those lost ones.”
Maggy
Age: 16
Scene: A bedroom
Maggy awkwardly waves. “H-hello there! I’m Maggy, a-and I wanted to join this show cause I was told I should get out more. Most people are scared of me cause of my size, b-but I promise I’m more than some giant! I want to prove myself on this show and make some friends. Show I can be a bit more to this world so that people don’t need to be scared of me. Maybe even be proud and confident in myself too.” Her face turned red in embarrassment. “G-gotta go!” She knocks the camera to the ground by accident as she scrambles to turn it off.
Marissa
Age: 21
Scene: Her bedroom, with some family photos and a flag, and some animal plushies
“Disventure Camp! Trooper Marissa Xulu reporting for duty! I’m here to show what I have to offer and test my skills on Disvneture Camp. When it comes to survival, I’ve been trained through the grit and grime and been built up to survive and fight with honor.” She grins and flexes. “To be the shining example and to help others out, and kick some ass when it’s needed.” Marissa quickly salutes. “Trooper Xulu…. out!”
Nick
Age: 26
Scene: A mansion’s swimming Pool
“Good morning chums. Or evening, whenever you lot get this bloody thing. Nicholas Milton is the name. Yes, THE Miltons, the famous family of trendsetters, the very same. I'm looking to partake in this show for some more…. Exposure to the world and people. My parents may not agree completely, but I think everyone can benefit from this. Think of it, a proper name like mine will definitely garner some more attention and money, and I’d be willing to leave, well, a little donation to this show if you have second guesses. I’m sure whatever they’re paying you isn’t enough. You won’t regret it, and I’m confident you’ll be chuffed to have me. Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time for my lunch.”
Zaid
Age: 26
Scene: A Kitchen with some food and a stove on
“Sabah alkhayar wahid wajamie! I am Zaid, native to the States but originally from Morocco. Since I’ve been here, I wanted to expand on some of my cooking skills and even open my own restaurant! I have an assortment of skills to offer, including making a mean and explosive dish, and…” A small poof and smoke is shown in the background. “Ah! Don’t worry about that! It’s just part of the recipe…” The smoke grows. “…… A-a-anyway! I can be a great part of your show and can prove myself, so I’d appreciate it if you let me on…. Oh man!" He rushes to the food, visibly sweating.
