"Oh. My. Gosh." Aika said boldly. "THIS IS AMAZING!!!" Aika said as she glared at the pantry filled with snacks as she wore some pajamas Zira had given her.
After the 2 friends had a tense moment in the park, Zira suggested they went back to her place to have a sleepover & do some fun activities. And so that's exactly what they did.
After getting in their PJ's & setting up their sleeping bags, they were gonna watch a movie then paint their nails then...well...I guess go to sleep? They were making it up as they go, not gonna lie. But regardless, Aika had almost fainted just at the mere sight of all the GREAT food options considering she is, unsurprisingly to Zira at this point, a food fanatic. There were chips, pretzels, popcorn & Aika's personal favorite besides string cheese for some weird reason...
"ICE CREAM!!!" Aika said as she opened the bottom freezer & reached for the colorful tubs of goodness.
"Woah, slow down, Aika" Zira laughed at her silly reactions. "Just pick one snack. There's no way you're gonna eat that all in one night, right?" Zira asked.
"I can certainly try~~~~yyyyyyy" Aika teased.
"Uhhhhh..." Zira sttutered with a blank mind. "Well, no one's truly stopping you, I guess, haha" Zira said as she accepted Aika's response.
"Yay! ^w^" Aika said, proudly grinning as the 2 ran back upstairs to Zira's bedroom.
As they arrived at the glorious room in itself, the one that was filled with TONS of anime posters & collectibles that is, Zira rolled out a collection of DVD's she had & asked Aika which one she wanted to watch.
Aika decided to pick a classic anime movie called Ponyo. Everyone loves that movie, right?
Well, Aika certainly did as even though Zira had watched this movie more times than she could count on her fingers, this was Aika's first time watching a movie, an anime movie at best too. She profoundly loved the movie & couldn't stop talking the whole movie, which annoyed Zira at first, but then made her smile shortly afterwards as she loved how cute Aika's reactions were to the movie itself.
And it didn't stop there.
After the movie, Aika insisted that Zira paint her nails in a gold & cyan color which Zira totally agreed with since that color scheme evidently matched with Aika's personality in itself.
During the 30 minutes it took to paint said nails, all Aika could do watch & be flustered by how good Zira was at being so gentle with her & helping her. Zira had painted one hand by itself then switched to the nails on the other hand, showing Aika this time how to do it properly.
Zira was a good friend. But just a good friend wasn't enough for her, sadly. :(((
After her nails had dried, Aika couldn't help, but say...
"Thank you so much, Zira! You're the best!" Aika said as she hugged Zira once again. The 2nd time today, already!
"Uhhhhh..no-no problem" Zira stuttered, taken aback by Aika's gesture.
As the 2 went to sleep & wrapped it up for the night, they couldn't help but talk about anime, tennis & how weird their school was in the meanwhile before they went to sleep in itself.
But as they finally tucked in for the night, they heard a loud explosion downstairs that startled them both out of their sleep.
"Wha-What was that?!" Zira said, eyes watering already.
Aika sighed.
"Please don't tell me they found me"
"Huh?" Zira questioned Aika.
But before she could ponder her reaction & ask any more questions, Aika ran downstairs & saw someone she should've expected. Zira ran down 10 seconds behind her, a tennis racket for self-defense in her hand.
"Zira, stay behind me." Aika said seriously as she looked at her day & night opponent.
"I-"
Aika shot a look at her.
"Ok..." Zira said softly.
"I've been expecting you, Star Gaurdian. Guardian Of The Stars." Eclispe said profoundly.
It was a battle between the stars. A battle between 2 long-gone enemies.
A battle for humanity.
