People get busy. Rin knows that. Hell, he knows that better than anyone else at this goddamn cafe. But sometimes there's too busy. And Rin thinks that might have been what happened to Haru for him to not have shown up whatsoever in weeks.
Maybe months. Rin started getting worried after 4 days.
Makoto started coming instead of Haru, something something "Haru wont come but refuses to live without coffee made by Rin".
"He can taste the difference" he said. Rin didn't think that was true, but whatever makes Haru happy I guess.
By being the only one coming in, Makoto also got more time to flirt with Sousuke, tormenting Rin's eyes. Is this what Sou saw with him and Haru? He guessed so.
"...yeah, Rin's also been missing his "loverboy". The guy's been worried sick." And there went Sou talking about things he didn't know.
"I can confirm !!!!!" And AiAi.
"Yeah we can't catch a break from hearing about it." And Momo. Was this whole cafe against him?
A ring at the door.
Haru.
Maybe life was against him too.
"Makoto, you're taking forever. What're you dragging on so long?" There it was, that sweet fucking voice Rin had missed for so long.
"Hey Haru! It's been a while, hasn't it?"
"Yeah, it has. Makoto are you ready?" Yeah, rip his heart out too, why dont you.
"Just finished something up, lets go. I got your coffee!"
And Sousuke swore he might have heard a "It better have been made by Rin".

It's 3AM. Rin can't sleep. He has a shift in 4 hours. He knows why he can't sleep.
But he doesn't want to.
