“Hey, bought you a coffee” kinich greeted, handing him a cup of hot coffee
“Thanks dude” Xiao said taking a sip, how exactly did kinich get his favorite coffee despite them only knowing each other for a week? Xiao wasn't sure, but he wasn't going to question it
They walked towards the dorms area of campus, talking as they drank their coffee
The moment they entered the dorm they were met with two individuals bickering, kaveh and alhaitham were fighting over something and tighnari was trying to calm them down
Kinich completely ignored the chaos. walking by like it was so normal, Xiao just followed because he's dealt with enough today and he has more important things to focus on
Kinich closed his door the fighting luckily muffling a bit. Xiao sighed in relief at that
“So you up for some super smash bros? I recently got it and played a little with mualani and she thought it was really fun” kinich asked
“Oh uh yeah, haven't played it before so” Xiao replied, kinich went to set up the gaming console and Xiao stood there biting the inside of his cheek, contemplating if he should ask kinich about this
After a minute or two Xiao sighed before deciding to just ask it now
“Hey kinich I have a.. Odd question” Xiao started slowly, walking further into kinichs room
“What's up?“ kinich looked at Xiao confused
“Um.. Do you…” he sucked in a breath “do you know how to ask someone out- o-or um, hint that you like them or S-something-” Xiao stuttered, getting flustered by his own question
Kinich looked blank for a second, before the question finally registered and kinich smirked “oh? So the bad boy of the school does has a crush hm?” He got up from his crouching position, looking smug as he put a hand on his hips
“Sh-shut up! Just-” Xiao sighed in annoyance, kinich chuckled
“Chill I won't tease, just tell me who it is and I maybe I will help you”
Xiao got nervous, knowing that the person he likes isn't really… popular because of how “annoying” he is

Kinich stood dumbfounded for a second “i- venti? You mean the drunkard?”
“y-yeah?” Xiao confirmed nervously
