The whole day, Dee was restless, scratching at the door, window, etc. The outside was right there and for some unknown reason she felt drawn to it. She decided to pull her father away from whatever he was doing.
“Daddy,” She tugged on his hand. “Come! Come out!”
He chuckled. “What fer?”
“Out! Out!” She tugged harder and he obliged; she led him out the house and down the street. She pointed to the bushes and her father kneeled and sifted through them.
He gasped and looked at her. “We need ta tell ya mom ’bout this.”

The black hedgehog was perfectly content with reading in his quiet house, but noooooo, his peace was shattered when Sonic slammed open the door.
“Shadow! Come quick! There’s a child in the bushes!”
