Harvey glanced down at his watch and gasped, whipping his head back up with an embarrassed blush.
“I didn’t realize I’d been rambling for so long!” he exclaimed, apologetic. “You probably have other errands. If you need to go, I understand.”
Kate had lost track of time too, fully engrossed in the joy and excitement on his face and in his voice as he went on about the history of some specific model of plane. His enthusiasm was practically contagious.
“No thanks,” she said, leaning forward against the clinic counter with a smile. “I’m right where I want to be.”
