Chapter Text

We begin today’s episode with Gabby and Tess awkwardly sitting at the fireplace before Ellie pokes her head out from the tent and awkwardly shuffles out to join the girls.

“H-Hey girls… what a night, amirite?” Ellie smiled sheepishly but all she got in response was a disapproving look from Tess, and Gabby nervously scratching the back of her head.

“I-It’s good that Tom is gone though, right… He and Jake would’ve been a major threat if we merged…” Ellie began sweating before Tess narrowed her eyes.

“Sure Ellie, sure.” Tess spoke dismissively before standing up and walking towards the woods.

“Where are you going?” Ellie asked in concern.

“On a walk. Maybe I’ll get some more firewood, maybe I won’t, but I’m too frazzled right now to care.” Tess stopped for a moment, crossing her arms.

“C’mon, Tess. You know that keeping Tom wouldn’t have benefited my game.” Ellie pleaded nervously.

“So you decided that you needed to lie to us, again?” Tess raised an eyebrow, unimpressed by Ellie’s defense.

“I didn’t lie… well okay, technically I did… but…” Ellie fumbled with her words before Tess just shook her head with an exasperated expression and turned to walk off.

“Like I said, going on a walk. We’ll talk later.” Tess said angrily, before storming off.

Once Tess was gone, Ellie sighed to herself before turning towards Gabby.

“You’re not mad at me, are you Gabby?” Ellie asked desperately to which Gabby turned away awkwardly.

“I… I don’t know how to feel, Ellie.” Gabby sighed softly before turning in the opposite direction of Tess to walk away, “I’m going to pick some berries. Tess likely won’t be doing so herself.”

Once Gabby was gone, Ellie began to look remorseful as she tried to steady her breathing.

Confessional: Ellie

“Calm down, Ellie. Calm down… these two are the only people who stood by you after All Stars… they aren’t going to leave you now… right?” Ellie said to try and calm herself down but couldn’t conceal her worry.

Confessional Ends

After that, we cut to Yellow Team at their campsite where Grett was roasting some fish on the fire while Riya and Alec sunbathed nearby before Yul ungraced them with his presence.

“We need to talk about strategy, NOW!!!” Yul cried out furiously.

“Ugh, why? We survived the last vote just fine. There’s no need to stress.” Riya grunted in annoyance.

“Shut up you Bollywood flop. I’m talking about Gabby and Tess voting for me last night over Mr Piggy. I thought Ellie had those two thirsting for her every word. Why did they vote for me?!” Yul argued in annoyance.

“Okay first of all, cram it with the lesbian polyamorous sex jokes, it’s getting old. Second of all, we were never going to be able to guarantee their votes. Gabby and Tom have history with solving the Jensen case from Season 1, and Tess gravitates more to the moral side of things. They are no threat to us at the end of the day and if we need to, we can get Ellie to flip them to our side in the merge if the others try to unite against us.” Alec narrows his eyes at the K-Pop dancer.

“How are you so sure the merge is coming soon?” Grett asked sheepishly, hoping to change the topic before Yul incurs his fury further.

“There are ten out of eighteen players left. The merge is certainly upon us soon.” Alec reminded his allies.

“Thank god. All this team nonsense has been getting on my nerves.” Yul rolls his eyes.

Alec and Riya just narrow their eyes at this response.

We then cut to Magenta Team’s campsite where Ally could be seen picking blueberries out of a bush as Jake and Ashley walk towards where she is.

“Are you sure this’ll work, Ash…” Jake asked in concern.

“I’m sure it’ll at least make some progress. Besides, you agreed to it.” Ashley smiled reassuringly at her friend.

Soon enough, Ally noticed the duo and gave them an awkward smile.

“Hey guys… want some blueberries?” Ally asked, clearly unnerved by Jake’s presence.

“Hey Ally, Jake has something to say. Go ahead Jake.” Ashley said happily.

“Uh… okay, this is kinda awkward Ally, but… I’m sorry for the way I’ve been acting. Fiore got into my head about you and Ashley becoming friends and it made me jealous and act like a dick to you. I hope we can move forward without grudges.” Jake apologized awkwardly but sincerely.

“Wow… I honestly didn’t expect that from you.” Ally admitted, shocked by Jake’s somewhat mature apology.

“Well recent events had made me realize that you being friends with Ashley should be the least of my worries…” Jake admitted, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

“I guess that makes sense. I guess I can accept your apology.” Ally shrugged, skeptical but willing to concede.

“Thanks.” Jake sighed in relief which made Ashley smile as she pulled both Jake and Ally into a group hug.

“That’s more like it, I’m glad you’re both willing to stick together. After all, the Villains’ Alliance are much bigger threats right now.” Ashley said happily.

“Definitely can agree there.” Jake nodded, his smile becoming much more sincere while Ally smiled awkwardly.

“Attention campers, meet me at the beach in ten minutes.” Kristal’s voice rang from the loudspeakers.

Confessional: Ally

“Obviously I’m still going to keep myself on my toes around Jake but if he’s willing to cooperate with me, I can play nice with him but if he steps out of line, I’ll have to do something about it.” Ally said, raising a skeptical eyebrow.

Confessional: Jake

“Honestly, it was definitely hard to swallow my pride back there but after talking with Tom and knowing that he might not make it past last night’s ceremony since he has to rely on Ellie’s vote to save him, I might as well get some closure with Ally.” Jake admitted with a relieved smile.

Confessionals End

We then cut to Magenta Team at the beach with Kristal as Cyan and Yellow Team began walking over without Tom.

“Magenta Team, getting your first look at the new Cyan Team. Tom voted out at the last elimination.” Kristal said happily as both teams stood on their mats, Yellow Team looking content while Gabby and Tess barely looked at Ellie due to the awkwardness.

“Ugh, why am I not surprised?” Jake rolled his eyes as he glared in Ellie’s direction who glared back.

“So I have to ask, how is everyone feeling about their teams?” Kristal asked with a smirk, “You guys have been together for nineteen days, surely the bonds have formed between all of you.”

“Ahahahahahahahahaha! Oh that’s a good one.” Yul laughed boisterously.

“Anywho, today’s going to rip the rug from under you. Drop your team colors, we are merged.” Kristal said happily making everyone cheer excitedly before the host continued, “That’s right, congratulations to our top ten All Stars. From now on, it’s every man and woman for themselves. Immunity challenges will be individual and everyone will be attending eliminations every night. This game became a lot harder.”

“So whose camp are we staying at?” Ellie asked curiously.

“We have the shower and beach stuff, so let it be our camp.” Riya smirked.

“No, we have the fishing gear. That’s way more important.” Ally countered.

“Sorry campers. Part of the new merge’s rule is that you must start over at a new campground.” Kristal smirked.

“Are you fucking kidding me?!” Riya cried out furiously.

“You’ll all be moved to one camp and none of your rewards will be transferred there. You’ll basically be starting from scratch.” Kristal smirked.

“Of course we are.” Ellie grumbled.

“Oh, quit your whining, people. You’d think a few weeks out here would grow some character.” Kristal rolled her eyes before throwing a map towards Ashley, “Here’s the new map to your camp. I’ll call you guys back for your immunity challenge tomorrow.”

Confessional: Yul

“So we reach the merge, big whoop. My real concern is that I have to sleep next to nine other people. Uggggggggggh. The things I do for three million dollars!!!” Yul cringed in disgust.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to the final ten at their new campgrounds where a black tent had already been set up.

“Ugh, just when our camp was starting to get comfortable.” Riya complained.

“Well, we can’t waste any time. We need a fire before it gets dark.” Ashley reminded everyone.

“Ellie, do you want to make yourself useful and come with us to get firewood?” Grett asked as non-conspicuously as she could.

“Okay.” Ellie sighed dismissively before following the former Yellow Team members away from the camp. Once they were gone, Jake rolled his eyes and addressed the rest of the girls.

“Are they even trying to hide it at this point?” Jake scoffed indignantly.

“To be fair, Miriam literally wrote a letter exposing them.” Tess reminded the blue haired boy despondently.

“Are you okay, Tess?” Ally asked in concern.

Tess moved to speak at first before noticing Gabby’s concerned gaze and out of respect, she closed her mouth before sighing.

“I’m fine Ally. Just a little upset about how the last ceremony went.” Tess sighed miserably.

“Can’t blame you there.” Jake nodded sadly, relating to Tess’ predicament given how Tom’s elimination was more of a personal loss for him while Gabby looked sheepish at the situation.

“Hey guys, I wanted to propose something to you all. Given those five are in a pretty tight-knit alliance, we can’t let them get a leg-up on us anymore than they already have. So I think the five of us should make our own Heroes’ Alliance, at least until the Villains are properly disbanded.” Ashley said with a determined gaze.

“Wait… what about Ellie?” Gabby asked in concern which Tess shared, considering the look in her eye.

Jake silently groaned in annoyance at the mention of Ellie which Ashley noticed and immediately moved to speak before Gabby and Tess could potentially make a comment on it.

“Like I said, this is until we can get the Villains’ Alliance to stop being a problem.” Ashley reminded the nature lover, “I’m sure we can avoid voting Ellie off until then.”

“I can agree to that.” Tess smiled softly albeit tiredly, “What do you say, Gabby?”

Gabby looked nervous for a moment before sighing.

“Okay…” Gabby said miserably and while the girls were satisfied with that response, Jake narrowed his eyes.

Confessional: Jake

“Look, I have nothing against Gabby’s relationship with Ellie, but right now Gabby’s commitment to Ellie is going to be a major problem for future votes. Hopefully the threat of the Villains’ Alliance is able to make Gabby stick with us, but I sincerely doubt that’ll be enough.” Jake sighed in annoyance.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to the Villains’ Alliance having a meeting of their own as the former Yellow Team members all directed their attention to Ellie.

“So you’re with us one hundred percent?” Grett asked amicably.

“Given this alliance is the best way to get further, I have to say I am.” Ellie shrugged dismissively, but despite her dry tone, the villains were mostly pleased with her response.

“Glad you’re still with us, Ellie.” Alec smiled accommodatingly.

“We need a plan or else it’ll be a tie.” Yul reminded the group sternly.

“I’m sure that won’t be a problem.” Riya smirked devilishly, “Ellie, your girlfriend is loyal, correct?”

“We live together, I don’t just let anyone do that.” Ellie dryly remarks but despite that, Riya’s smirk widens.

“Then make sure she flips to our side by reminding her how much you need her cooperation. If you can do that, it should be smooth sailing from there.” Riya instructed.

“Got it.” Ellie smiled shakily.

“Are we sure your little girlfriend is capable of listening to you, though? After all, she seemed so willing to vote with us back at Tom’s elimination.” Yul sarcastically spoke as he narrowed his eyes which made Ellie look away sheepishly.

“Yul, there’s no need to pressure her.” Grett said placatingly to which Yul sharply turned his head at her furiously.

“Does this involve you?! Then be a good girl and shut up!” Yul said angrily which made Grett wince while Ellie glared at Yul for his remarks before addressing him.

“Tom’s her best friend, but I think she’ll be more willing to vote with us now that he’s gone. Don't worry about that.” Ellie crossed her arms.

“Fine.” Yul crossed his arms with an annoyed gaze before Alec stepped in.

“Thank you Ellie, this will be more than enough to help us out.” Alec said gratefully.

“Whatever. I’ll go talk to Gabby.” Ellie sighed before walking away as the other four villains were left by themselves.

We then cut to the next morning as Kristal walked over to the campgrounds and began using a megaphone.

“Good morning campers! Are you guys ready for your first individual challenge?!” Kristal asked happily as the final ten began getting out of the tent.

“Why are we starting so early?! I need my beauty sleep!” Yul asked furiously.

“Okay, Yul forfeits and is out of the game.” Kristal said smugly which made Gabby laugh hysterically while Yul widened his eyes in pure horror.

“No no no! Please, I’ll behave!” Yul begged dramatically.

“Relax, I’m only kidding.” Kristal reassured him before glaring daggers at the dancer, “But mouth off again and see what happens. But back to the challenge, we’re going to test your battle tactics and artillery skills!”

“Oh.” Ally spoke with interest as Ashley and Tess smiled alongside her.

“A classic game of paintball. It’ll be sudden death so the last person who doesn’t get hit with a bullet-“ Kristal said happily before Yul interrupted with a whisper towards Alec.

“We better have face protection.” Yul grumbled.

“Kind of like this.” Kristal smirked before spitefully shooting Yul on the chin, making him fall back with a screech. Alec, Ellie, and Riya smirked at the sight.

“Darling!!!” Grett gasped in concern.

“Like I was saying… last person without any paint on them wins immunity. Go grab your paintball guns from the shack and we’ll get started.” Kristal said happily as the final ten looked at each other warily.

We then cut to the final ten in the middle of the woods wearing protective glasses and carrying paintball guns before Kristal spoke up again.

“Alright, everyone has their paintball guns. This challenge starts… NOW!!!” Kristal said happily.

“Everyone, follow me.” Riya directed the villains in which Alec, Grett, and Yul began running alongside her.

“C’mon Gabs.” Ellie said hastily as she grabbed Gabby’s arm, running towards the same direction as Riya but far enough away from them to not cause suspicion. Tess and Jake gave skeptical glances at this though.

“Let’s go together guys.” Jake said sternly, “I have a feeling that we’re looking at a 6v4 in a minute.”

“Isn’t Gabby in our alliance though?” Ally asked with a raised eyebrow.

“She’s also Ellie’s girlfriend and she’s with the villains.” Jake narrowed his eyes in the direction Ellie and Gabby went.

“Good point. We’re better off sticking together in that case.” Ashley nodded which Jake and Ally nodded in agreement with, but Tess had a distant look in her eyes.

We then cut to the production tent where Emily was waiting with a nonchalant smile until Kristal walked up to her with a stern expression.

“There you are, Kristal. Oliver said you wanted to speak with me. Can I fix you a coffee?” Emily asked happily.

“No thanks Emily. I need to talk to you about your performance. I think I’ve made it specifically clear that the staff can’t rig the game for other contestants but we have footage of you giving Yul outside information along with all the other rules you’ve broken such as planning to give him outside food and sneaking in paparazzi. Shall I go on?” Kristal spoke sternly, making Emily look away sheepishly.

“Sorry Emily, but you’re fired. I can’t have someone on the staff who isn’t trustworthy.” Kristal sighed.

“Oh, I’m not trustworthy but the crazy old man with the puppet is?!” Emily lashed out furiously.

“Actually yes.” Kristal replied coldly, repressing as much anger as she could about Emily’s insults towards Marcus and Nina.

“Whatever. I’m not even interested in being a part of this flop of a show.” Emily smirked mockingly.

“Aw, what a happy coincidence.” Kristal cooed with equal sarcasm before shifting to a look of fury, “You have twenty minutes to pack up your things or else I’m calling security!!!”

Kristal walks off with a disappointed look in her eyes as Emily sighed sadly once Kristal was out of sight.

We then cut to Ellie and Gabby walking together before Gabby decides to speak up.

“Why are we not partnered up with Tess? She was our teammate.” Gabby asked in concern.

“She likely wants to catch up with Ally right now. Besides, we have other things to worry about.” Ellie sighed but before Gabby could question that, they came face to face with the former Yellow Team members.

“Ellie, perfect timing. I see you brought Gabby with you.” Alec smiled, his tone implying that he expected Gabby’s presence to which she widens her eyes before Ellie elbow bumps Gabby’s arm nervously as a gesture to play along.

“Uh… hi guys.” Gabby said with a sheepish smile.

“At this point, it’s probably obvious that the Villains’ Alliance is indeed real and considering you’re Ellie’s girlfriend, we feel it would be best to have you vote with us.” Riya smirked gleefully.

“I guess that’s fair… who’s our next target?” Gabby asked sheepishly.

“We were thinking of eliminating Ashley next.” Grett explained, “If she wins immunity, we’ll have to take care of Tess and Ally.”

“Why them?” Gabby asked, beginning to sweat a bit.

“Do you really think Jake is going to be a threat? Tess and Ally are mostly harmless but they ARE a duo at the end of the day.” Alec reminded the animal lover.

“That’s not going to be a problem, is it?” Yul asked confrontationly.

“Nope. No problem at all.” Gabby lied with a stern expression on her face.

“Excellent. We should probably split into groups of three to make things easier for us.” Alec instructed the group.

“Agreed, I’ll go with Alec and Grett. Gabby, you go with Ellie and Yul.” Riya instructed the group.

“Wait, why are me and Yul separated?” Grett raised an eyebrow.

“You two need space, plain and simple.” Riya said bluntly, “Also Yul has less negative history with Gabby than you do.”

“Sounds fine to me.” Yul said dismissively, sending a pang through Grett’s heart.

“Fine.” Grett sighed miserably, making Riya smirk.

Confessional: Riya

“I’m not exactly sure how loyal Gabby will be to the villains, especially since she voted for Yul last night but if she DOES flip and Ellie follows alongside her, I may as well use Yul as a meat shield for that case.” Riya smirked wickedly.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to the four remaining heroes wandering together as Ashley began speaking.

“Alright guys, we gotta keep our eyes peeled in case of any sneak attacks, so stay alert.” Ashley told her allies.

“What do we do if Ellie or Gabby come by?” Tess raised an eyebrow in concern.

“If Gabby’s willing to work with us, we’ll spare her. Ellie’s fair game.” Jake replied spitefully, unnerving Tess a bit which Ally noticed.

“Maybe… we should try not shooting Ellie either. We need her vote to prevent a tie after all.” Ally suggested nervously.

“Oh please. Like Ellie would ever agree to work with me. Once a backstabber, always a backstabber. Our best hope is a tie at best” Jake rolled his eyes in annoyance.

“Jake, I know you have beef with Ellie but you need to think carefully here.” Ally said, starting to feel annoyed by Jake’s lack of cooperation but before she could say anything more, a paintball hit her in the face much to Tess, Ashley, and Jake’s concern.

They soon saw that Grett, Riya, and Alec were smirking at them viciously before they began firing paintballs once again.

“Retreat!” Ashley cried out as she and Jake split apart, running away in different directions while Tess didn’t react in time and got shot to the ground.

“Ha. Two down already. This challenge is pitifully easy.” Riya bragged before she, Grett, and Alec ran off in Ashley’s direction.

We then cut to Yul, Ellie, and Gabby walking together, the tension was clearly awkward as Yul wasn’t exactly hiding his disdain at pretty much anything well. This was until Gabby decided to speak up.

“So… Yul… how is your relationship with Grett?” Gabby asked timidly.

“Ugh, don’t get me started on her!” Yul rolled his eyes at the mention of his “girlfriend”, “She’s been so whiny recently! I honestly understand why you lashed out at her back at Season 1 with how much of a bitchy fatass she is!!!”

“I was not proud of calling her a fatass back then.” Gabby crossed her arms in disdain, “And why would you even call her that, anyway?! She’s your girlfriend!!!”

“For fuck’s sake, not you too!” Yul rolled his eyes, “It’s because putting up with Grett is like a walking migraine. It’s a never ending annoyance!”

“Okay, let’s just calm down. This is getting way too heated.” Ellie smiled awkwardly.

“What Yul said wasn’t okay though!” Gabby protested.

“Ugh! Fine! I’m sorry for offending you, let’s just drop this already!” Yul screeched but before anything else was said, a paintball hit him in the face making him scream.

“Why is it always the face?!” Yul complained from the ground.

“Ah, it’s always satisfying to take him down a peg or two.” Jake said in relief before realizing he was face to face with Ellie, “Ugh, not you. Later.”

“Oh no you don’t.” Ellie glared hatefully at Jake’s direction before running after him.

“Ellie, wait!” Gabby cried out as she ran to follow her girlfriend.

“Uh, I’m fine by the way!!!” Yul cried out furiously.

We then cut to Trevor sitting alone at the bar of the Losers Motel before Emily walks over to him despondently.

“Emily!” Trevor said in shock, “D-Didn’t you have work today?”

“Not anymore. I got in trouble and now Kristal fired me.” Emily explained solemnly.

“What?!” Trevor gasped in shock, “No!”

“I came to say goodbye!” Emily said sadly.

“You can’t leave, you’re the only person here who pretended to pay attention to me!” Trevor said solemnly.

“Trevor, I didn't pretend. You’re a good guy. It’s a shame… we were just starting to get comfortable with each other.” Emily lowered her head with a sad smile.

“But if you’re gone, I won’t have anyone.” Trevor said sadly.

“Not true. You’re going to finally talk to Derek and tell him how you feel. No more chickening out.” Emily said sternly.

“Okay. Thank you for talking to me Emily. I’ll miss you.” Trevor smiled sadly before hugging Emily before she left, leaving Trevor alone with a saddened gaze.

We then cut to Grett, Riya, and Alec running together before they stopped to catch their breath.

“I think we lost her.” Alec said in annoyance.

“Goddamnit.” Riya growled under her breath.

“I hope Yul’s doing okay though… he and Gabby aren’t exactly masters of subtlety…” Grett admitted worriedly.

“Your concern for Yul will forever elude me.” Riya rolled her eyes boredly to which Grett glared at the actress.

“Look, I know that Yul isn’t always the most ideal person but he’s my boyfriend and we love each other.” Grett said angrily.

“I don’t doubt you love him, but he for sure doesn’t love you. He calls you fat 24/7 to hurt your feelings, gets upset at you for trying to put sunscreen on his back, and screams at you like no tomorrow. I bet if it weren’t for the game, he would break up with you right here and now.” Riya argued bitterly which made Grett’s stance falter while Alec felt awkward about this entire situation.

“N-No… that can’t be true. He loves me…” Grett said timidly.

“Sure he does.” Riya said sarcastically before giving Grett a stern look, “Like I said before, you need to hold your ground against him. For now, let’s just focus on getting Ashley out.”

However, two paintballs were quick to shoot Grett and Riya from above. A paintball almost hit Alec, but he was quick enough to avoid it.

“What the hell?!” Riya asked incredulously before she and the other villains looked up to see Ashley smirking downwards at them.

“Not so smug now, are ya?” Ashley smirked mockingly before jumping down the tree as Alec tried shooting her before she ran off.

“I’ll take care of Ashley.” Alec vowed furiously with Riya giving him a nod, before he ran off.

We then cut to Jake running away from Ellie’s barrage of paintballs as she attempted to chase him but before Ellie could continue, Gabby grabbed her shoulder, halting them from going forward.

“Gabby, what is it?! I’m trying to get Jake out!” Ellie turned to her girlfriend in annoyance.

“I know, but… don’t you think you should stop instigating conflict with him? We might need to work with him later, and I’ve already been invited to an alliance with the other heroes.” Gabby said in concern.

“Gabby, we can’t trust Jake. He has a massive vendetta against me. We’re better off sticking with the villains for now to get rid of Ashley.” Ellie reminded her girlfriend.

“But the Villains’ Alliance isn’t trustworthy and could eliminate us at any moment. Riya said it herself that if we can’t vote off Ashley, we’ll have to vote for Tess and Ally. Even if we convince them to go for Ally instead, Tess is unlikely to trust us again and you’ve already burned bridges with Ashley and Jake so we’d be running on burrowed time regardless.” Gabby said worriedly which made Ellie reflect on her choices before sighing.

“Okay fine, I can see your point. I’ll stop instigating with Jake, but if it comes down to it, we do have to take him out.” Ellie conceded to which Gabby smiles before nodding.

Confessional: Ellie

“As annoying as Jake is, Gabby has a point about me burning bridges. Jake and Ashley already don’t trust me, and the less said about how I’ve been alienating Tess, the better. Maybe flipping on the Villains isn’t the worst idea ever.” Ellie admitted sheepishly.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Alec still chasing Ashley, wisely choosing not to waste his paintballs before Ashley sharply turned towards him with a glare which he smirked at.

“Tired of running?” Alec asked smugly.

“Oh no, I just wanna end this right here, right now.” Ashley narrows her eyes at the bookworm.

“Very well. Don’t be shocked when you lose though.” Alec smirked. An eerie silence rang between them before the two of them shot their paintballs at the same time, but unfortunately for Ashley, the paintball managed to hit her while Alec barely dodged Ashley’s bullet.

“Yes!” Alec cheered before a paintball shot him from behind, making him wince before turning to see Jake with a smug smirk.

“Oops, sorry.” Jake rolled his eyes smugly, “I guess I’m not such a pushover after all.”

Suddenly a barrage of paintballs fired at him, making him fall to the ground before glaring up in annoyance.

“Ellie, are you serious-“ Jake began before noticing it was Gabby who wielded her paintball gun with a sheepish smile and Ellie who was behind her with a smirk.

“Sorry, I get carried away sometimes.” Gabby smiled nervously which made Jake’s glare ease up a bit.

“Yeah, she does.” Ellie chuckled before firing a paintball at Gabby with a playful smirk, “By the way, you’re out.”

“We have our winner. Ellie, being the last one to not be shot with a paintball wins immunity. You can all return to your camp, I’ll see you tonight where someone will be eliminated from the merge.”

We then cut to the sunset as the Villains’ Alliance + Gabby meet up together near a secluded area of the woods as Alec speaks up.

“Well, Ashley didn’t win immunity so it’s clear she’s leaving tonight.” Alec smirked victoriously, proud that he was able to prevent Ashley from winning immunity.

“Agreed. Once she’s gone, the Heroes will be sitting ducks.” Riya nodded smugly.

“Yep. I can’t wait to stick it to Jake by eliminating his best friend.” Ellie smirked with a hint of sadism in her tone that made Alec, Riya, and Grett a little unnerved but since they weren’t saints themselves, they didn’t bother commenting on it.

“Well, we should probably start preparing camp for the night.” Grett suggested.

“I hope you’re not expecting me to do anything.” Yul said in annoyance which made Grett look at her boyfriend sadly.

“Relax Yul. Me and Alec will go get some firewood.” Riya nodded.

“Me and Ellie can go collect some fruit.” Gabby said happily.

“Oh right. Forgot you were vegan.” Yul rolled his eyes, clearly not approving of Gabby’s lifestyle which she narrows her eyes at before Ellie takes her hand.

“If you don’t like it, you can hunt for a squirrel or something. Let’s go, Gabs.” Ellie said angrily before she and Gabby walk away while Alec and Riya do the same.

Confessional: Gabby

“Phew. Keeping my composure during that meeting was rough.” Gabby admitted with a sheepish smile, “Thankfully Ellie was there to keep me from lashing out. Now we can get to business.”

Confessional Ends

We then cut to Gabby and Ellie walking together when they finally reached a spot where Ashley, Jake, Tess, and Ally were waiting.

“Oh good, you’re here. We were worried you weren’t going to show up.” Ally smiled accommodatingly.

“We’d be stupid not to.” Gabby giggled as Ellie shared a hopeful smile to Tess who awkwardly waved back with her own sheepish smile. This did not lift Ellie’s spirits whatsoever.

“So… what’s the vote?” Ellie asked, hoping to alleviate the tension.

“We’ve been talking about it, and we’re hoping to target Riya or Alec tonight as they’re basically the leaders of the Villains’ Alliance.” Ashley admitted.

“Actually… can it be someone else tonight?” Gabby asked warily to which Jake, Ally, and Ashley raised eyebrows.

“Go on.” Tess said softly, urging Gabby to speak up.

“I want to eliminate Yul tonight. His behavior makes me really uncomfortable and I don’t like how he treats Grett.” Gabby admitted sheepishly to which Ashley and Jake widened their eyes at.

“I can actually get behind that actually. I overheard Yul say some pretty nasty things about Grett earlier.” Jake admitted uneasily.

“Yeah, I also heard Riya and Grett talking about Yul’s treatment towards the latter and it ain’t right.” Ashley winced before smiling at the girls, “No problem girls. I doubt anyone will miss Yul.”

Gabby clapped her hands gleefully while Ellie had an awkward expression.

Confessional: Ellie

“Tonight is basically going to be an alliance war. No matter who me and Gabby vote for, either one of the Heroes or Villains will have a lot of power at future ceremonies. Ultimately, it comes down to which side I feel will benefit us in the long run…” Ellie admitted shakily.

Confessional Ends

We then cut to the elimination ceremony where the final ten were sitting in front of Kristal.

“Y’know, when we came up with the idea of All Stars, I knew I would look forward to the merge. Look at this crowd. You have all truly proven to be the best of the best and true All Stars. But tonight, one of your dreams ends tonight. Get voting.” Kristal smirked.

Voting: Jake

“Seems like we’re looking at a tie at best considering how eager Gabby is to get rid of Yul. Let’s hope that Ellie actually does something good for once in her life.” Jake sighed in annoyance as he held up a vote for Yul.

Voting: Alec

“It’s nothing personal. You’re simply a major threat. Congratulations on making the merge though.” Alec said as he held up a vote for Ashley.

Voting: Tess

Tess looks concerned as she wrote down her vote.

Voting: Ellie

Ellie raises an eyebrow for a bit before writing down her vote with a pensive expression.

Voting Ends

“Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Whoever is voted out will be eliminated from Disventure Camp All Stars.” Kristal said happily, “I’ll read the votes. First vote… Ashley.”

Ashley wore a determined glare as she somewhat expected this.

“Yul.”

“WHAT, are you serious?!” Yul asked incredulously as if this was surprising whatsoever.

“Ashley.”

Ashley rolled her eyes.

“Yul.”

Yul crossed his arms indignantly.

“Ashley.”

Ashley crossed her arms with a glare at the dancer.

“Yul. That’s three votes Yul, three votes Ashley.”

Yul glared back at Ashley with equal levels of determination.

“Yul.”

Grett began to look concerned for Yul but he did not seem to give a damn.

“Ashley. That’s four votes Ashley, four votes Yul. Two votes left.”

Jake gave Ashley a concerned gaze to which Ashley gave him a reassuring smile.

“Yul.”

Yul whipped his head to glare at Gabby with fury, while Alec looked shocked and Riya gave the aura of not giving a singular fuck.

“Ninth person voted out of Disventure Camp All Stars is…” Kristal dragged out the tension as Yul’s eye began twitching, Grett’s concern increased, and Gabby crossed her arms and looked away.

“Yul. That’s six votes, it’s time for you to go.” Kristal spoke with a smirk.

“Ugh! Of fucking course the carpet munchers betrayed us!” Yul crossed his arms indignantly.

At that comment, Gabby wasted no time punching Yul in the face, making him screech in pain as he fell to the ground.

“What the hell is wrong with you?!” Yul cried out furiously.

“Your attitude is just disgusting. Honestly, I’m shocked I could tolerate you for as long as I did.” Gabby shouted in annoyance.

“Says the mental patient who belongs in a fucking asylum!” Yul shouted back, but before Gabby attacked him again, Ellie and Tess immediately gripped Gabby’s shoulders to hold him back.

“Yul, please calm down! All you’re doing is making a scene!” Grett said worriedly.

“Shut the fuck up! You have been nothing but useless to me this entire game! Being in this relationship with you was a mistake from the start!” Yul said furiously.

“Wh-What…” Grett widens her eyes in shock.

“We’re done Gretchen. You have absolutely no value to me anymore.” Yul crossed his arms as he began storming off but Grett grabbed his arm desperately.

“W-Wait. Please Yul, we don’t have to do this. Why are you so upset with me?!” Grett asked, desperate to know why her now ex-boyfriend was doing this to her. The other contestants couldn’t help but feel sympathy for Grett.

“Don’t touch me! You’ve just outlived your usefulness to me! That’s all it comes down to.” Yul slapped Grett’s hand away from him before he stormed off to the Bus Of Losers, leaving Grett to cover her eyes tearfully.

Confessional: Alec

“Well… that was tough to witness. Ellie and Gabby’s betrayal is shocking but honestly, that’s the least of my concerns right now. Yul may have been a pain in everyone’s ass but he was a useful vote. Now that he’s gone… me, Riya, and Grett are in for a rude awakening unless we can get two people to flip.” Alec admitted with a sigh.

Confessional: Gabby

“Well… we got rid of Yul and even if Grett didn’t break up with him herself, at least the two are no longer dating and Grett can find someone better…” Gabby smiled shakily before sighing, “Who am I kidding? I feel really bad for her. Even if Yul’s a piece of shit, she deserved better than for that to happen in front of everyone.”

Confessional: Riya

“Well… that was something.” Riya admitted with a concerned eyebrow raise but shrugged, trying to seem dismissive, “But at least I was right in Gabby and Ellie flipping and I’m guessing Yul really did piss them off for the target to be placed on him. Sure, we’re in the minority now, but now that Yul’s gone, it should be easy to convince Gabby and Ellie to flip back to our side. And if they don’t… well, I can always exploit Jake and Ellie’s tumultuous relationship.”

Riya ended her confessional off with a smirk, but her smile didn’t quite reach her lips.

Confessionals End

Notes:

Yep, Yul’s gone. I bet a lot of you expected Ashley to leave but given Yul was on burrowed time regardless, I figured that he can leave now since there are interesting things that could be done with Ashley. And with that, I have officially diverted from the What If I made of this concept. Next up is the comeback challenge. Make your predictions on who you think will return.

Btw, these are the last staff scenes I’ll be writing for until like… Episode 20 since this plot is just gonna go the same way as canon. I only wrote them for this chapter to exemplify that what with Emily getting fired and all.

Notes:

Given the premise of this fic, since I was saving Ellie, this meant that I had to sacrifice Aiden in her place. Sorry Aiden, but I doubt people will complain about this since everyone felt he overstayed in the original.
