Dear Reader,
Cigarettes are one of the things I loathe in this world, I could never imagine myself smoking it, up until now, I still hate it, and maybe I never smoked it, I never will.
Jay was outside on his porch when I walked over after school and all chores, smoke all over his shadow, as I walked closer he displayed a sense of affection and worry as he crumpled the cigarettes beneath his shoes.
"Are you smoking?" I asked gently.
He nodded, no words, just a silent nod.
He held my hands as we walked inside, and stared at each other in silence in his living room, my heart beating like never before, a range of thoughts came rushing towards my mind at that moment.
But one snapped.
Valentine's Day in a few days. My Birthday in three days, everything is spiraling...
He kissed me, Jay kissed me again for another time, this time he held my hands while doing it, the kind the couples do when they're inlove with each other.
He closed his eyes, feeling the moment, while I stayed wide awake, shocked by his sudden actions.
He smelled like strawberries.
He broke the kiss and held my hand by his face.
"Will you never say anything about what you saw?"
I nodded, just like what he did moments before that, a silent nod again.
“Let's go somewhere else, this house is becoming too bland.”
We did, we walked over the empty football field, no one in sight, even if it's beside the road no one was there, not even a car in sight.
We stared at each other, each having thoughts of our own, well probably, I don't know about Jay, if he has a thought behind those eyes of his.
He was weird lately, and he never was.
“My parents want to meet you, I have been telling them about you for a while.” He broke our silence.
Well that's a shocker, it's like it's surreal, I can't believe it til now as I'm writing this to you, maybe he really liked me, or not, he only told me as his “friend”.
But either way I still wanted to meet them, and maybe this was the time, next week on Saturday they'll be over at Jay's house, it's finally time to introduce myself to strangers I guess.
The idea shocks my mind, but it's got to happen right?
Wow, this head banging and animalistic noises from Sunoo’s room is deafening, are they playing cat and mice?
By the way, our parents are away for the weekend right now, Sunoo's enjoying it too much, but good for him, I guess.
