Midoriya was frustrated when it hit noon, well more pissed then anything
he decided to take the metro over to ua and see if there were any hero’s walking around there, the train was a little crowded but otherwise he got there okay
The walk to the front gates were uneventful also, seriously! Any other day is riddled with fights! What’s with today?
When he made it to the gates he sat on a bench a little bit away, already knowing about the automatic doors, which he thought were pretty cool!
Maybe he can test it out before he goes home?
He read somewhere that hound dog was the guard for the school, maybe he will see him if he activates it?
Although that might get him in trouble.
Checking his phone for any fights in the area, only showing one 5 hours away
With a huff he brought he knees up to his chest and waited for anything to happen, a fight, a hero, a teacher which he guesses would also be a hero
After a little bit of keeping his eyes on the gates midoriya felt,
watched
He looked around to see a few people on the street but they wernt near him or even paying attention to him
nothing at the gate, maybe it was the cameras? or he’s thinking too much into it and it’s just that he’s at a new place, that’s probably all it is
after watching the front gate and ignoring the feeling of eyes on him for a while and not a soul to go in or out
he decided to look through his notebooks to see if there was anything else he can add to his commission
or too just fix something he wrote before that was wrong or questions he wrote down that he found the answer too later on
Keeping a eye on the entrance as he read and reread his notebooks slowly faded as he got distracted by said notes
Kicking his feet slightly as he noticed he had two different pages on present mic, it was mostly the same things but a few that differences on each page, he made a new page with all the information
Looking though more he found a few things misspelled and added a few things, making sure to avoid the number one hero’s pages
He only noticed that he forgot what he was here for when someone walked past him and he looked up
With a sigh midoriya closed his notebooks decided to call it a day, his mom should be home from work soon anyway, and he didn’t wanna worry her anymore then he already has
But he couldn’t leave yet, Not before testing the gate
What he didn’t expect was it to just…not close on him, which was odd, he seen plenty of videos on the door closing on people!
Hell there was a trend a few years back where tourist tried to run through the gate! Most of them going to fast to stop and ended up slamming into it
Midoriya wondered if he wasn’t through the gate enough. He stepped more into the doorway…then another…and then another
Midoriya was reminded of a game he and his mom played when he was young
a little plastic alligator with rounded teeth, push one tooth down and if it didn’t shut the next person went, if it snaps shut you loose and play again
He took another step, waiting for the jaws to slam shut, then another.
Midoriya stood frozen for a moment noticing that he’s past the gate, and is now on UA grounds
Was the gate broken? Should he tell someone? Does he just…keep going and see if he gets caught?, pretend it never happened and go home?
when he hears someone yell out “Hay” he runs all the way to the station, making it to the train out of breath and panting
Midoriya makes sure he has all his things and his notebooks, and the flip phone….he has anouther text from giran
‘Hay kid’
‘ I mean, Drawback. I’ll be mia for a few days, don’t message this number, I’ll message you’
Odd but ok, midoriya put his phone away and waiting for the train to reach his station
He wondered what Giran would be doing for a moment before thinking he’d rather not know
He then noticed why he didn’t see any of the hero’s around the school….it was the weekend
Midoriya was thinking about how much of a idiot he is, with a sigh he gets off the train and heads home
He actually gets home before his mom today! Maybe he can make dinner as a surprise for her! Or pick up her favorite fast food, he does have the money now!
He smiled as he decided to do just that, and a little extra so she can bring some to work the next day too!
Midoriya felt giddy, he can’t always show how much he appreciates his mom, with everything she does for them both, but with the money he can!
Picking up the food, and going home he sets the table up, just in time for her to walk in
They have a nice meal together and midoriya is happy
That night he works on the notebooks more, looking on different web sights for better videos of vlad using his quirk, and of hound dog
Still no sign of nedzu but that didn’t bring him down
He decided to look on the current UA students social medias, which he thought they would be smarter but he guessed not
One kid posted a photo of the map of the school! Seriously how foolish!
He took a screen shot and kept looking, then he spots it, almost undetectable in the photo, but there
A white siloett in the grates of a vent
The kid was taking a selfie, and the bend was blurry in the back, but it was him
He used the vents to get around the school…
Midoriya writes it down in the notebook, excited to actually have found something to write
When All of the other photos and post came up fruitless, midoriya decided to call it a day and go to bed
