Chapter Text
“I’m sorry Y/N, but we have to let you go..”
“Oh.”
Your thoughts left out your mouth at the words of your now ex-boss. The news partially disassociated you as it took you a moment to let the words sink in. You were just in disbelief, how could have gotten fired..?
It wasn't until you left the office of your old work building with your belongings that it finally hit.
'How does this happen? '
'Where did things go wrong..'
Now the hardest part about this whole thing is that you were extremely overdue with rent and your landlord was generous enough to let this slide for only a couple more weeks.
What a saint.
A grieving sigh left your lips as you wandered the streets of the city aimlessly, until the city’s sky became a watercolor mix of amber and dusk blue.
You took that as a sign to head back to your apartments and whip up whatever was in your cupboards. Which was a sad pack of noodles. It wasn’t much but it was something.
After your depressing meal, you had the strong urge for a smoke in the moment.
Now you couldn’t ignore the urge of course and just decided to cave to it, grabbing your pack of Newports and rainbow lighter. You made quick work of the stairs and wandered into the alley behind the complex.
Now some peace and quiet could follow you as you lit a cigarette and-
“ACK!!”
You were wacked in the face with..a wet piece of paper? A flyer in fact. What a day you were having..
With an irritated huff, you peeled it off your face to read what had the nerve to rudely slap you in the face. And to your surprise, the poster was an ad for the star of your city,
‘MEGA PIZZAPLEX’
How weirdly coincidental is that?
You skeptically read the paper further as you put out your cigarette while you dragged yourself inside to properly read it.
The poster wasn’t much besides asking for candidates for an open security position and giving a number at the bottom of the flyer. It seemed easy enough, but just a tad too easy for your standards.
It was a very popular franchise with many enemies who would probably send their employees to work there for intel, but that idea was a stretch. And maybe you’re just worrying for nothing!
This poster was basically an opportunity handed to you on a silver platter with seemingly no strings attached at the moment.
You bit the inside of your cheek for a moment as you mulled over the thought of calling. It really wouldn’t hurt to just..try?
No matter how skeptical you were of Fazbear and their weird past, you did need a job at the moment..
But you would try tomorrow! The weight of exhaustion dawned on you as you let out a yawn, closing your eyes and stretching. A satisfying pop was heard from your body as you sat back into your chair with a comfortable sigh.
Yea, you’d call tomorrow..
