Chapter Text
He gets a flash of a memory..
He's standing in a messy room, lights flickering.. Staring at that woman.. she's wearing some kind of.. protective gear.. he can't hear what she's saying..
"Hey? You okay?" Buck asks, snapping him out of his thoughts. "...Shes important to me.. isn't she?.." The man asks, his voice quiet. "Did you just remember something?" Eddie asks. The man nods.
Meanwhile, over in the corner. "Okay, so, you have to promise me you won't freak out too bad.." Hen says to Athena.
"About?" Athena asks, raising her eyebrows.
"...He doesn't remember anything.. or.. well.. I don't think he does.." Hen says, glancing over to the group. "Just.. you have to see it for yourself.."
"Okay then, lets go." Athena says, walking over to the group.
"Hello sir, I'm-" she freezes when she gets there and sees the man. Her breath catching in her throat.
"Is this some kind of sick prank?" Athena mutters out. Buck shakes his head.
"We're just as shocked, Athena.." Ravi says quietly, speaking up for one of the first times.
The man is obviously getting overwhelmed by all the chaos and talking..
"Guys, lets just calm down-" Buck tries talking over the others. But they start arguing...
"We need to get him to a hospital or something! Figure out what happened to him!" Eddie is yelling
"No, they'd probably take him back wherever they had them-" Athena snaps back.
The man is backing up towards the corner.
"Guys- come on-" Buck is trying to get them to calm down. Chimney sighs and whistles.
Everyone goes silent.
"Great. Now. Lets just try to act like this is a normal patient.. And not start yelling in front of them." Chimney says, sounding annoyed.
"Right.. he doesn't know whats going on.." Alex says.
"Well.. then how did he come here?" Athena asks.
"Well, sometimes the body can remember things the mind can't.." Alex and Buck say at the same time. They look at each other, Buck has a hint of playful amusement in his eyes.
"Right.. its just.. I need a second.." Athena says, walking outside for a moment, needing air.
