Its was the other day after lewis and seb's call. Daniel had somehow gotten up early and woken up carlos so they could leave, thats when they met lando lingering in the kitchen. Lando somehow managed to convince them to let him tag along, claiming it would do their channel also some good with the content. (He just wanted to go out and be with carlos) so they let him come.
"So hi! Obviously Your first question might be, why is lando doing the introduction by himself?! Did they already fall out?" Lando laughs before he seriously looks at the camera "no"
That causes daniel to chuckle as carlos shakes his head fondly "I am joining danny ric and this spanish man in their early morning quest" lando says as he flips the camera to show the two said man. Daniel waves, without taking his eyes of the road as carlos turns around and looks at lando with a done face "really?" Lando chuckles and continues "would you do the honors ol' spainard?" Lando starts laughing as carlos just face palms, the older quickly looks up again at the camera before turning around.
"Today's quest is to go pick up charles's suprise that daniel has planned" daniel raised a hand "that shall be me! Also carlitos helped tons, so its from us both" lando whined "what about me?!"
Daniel shurgs "meh, what part did you help in?" Lando turns the camera onto himself "Here! I am here with you guys, moral support and filming memories!" Carlos tilts his head "eh, i dont know"
Thats how their one hour of drive goes, bickering, joking and also somewhat sleep. -only lando, the video had been fast forwarded for their entire drive, only to see lando sleeping for last 15 minutes-
Meanwhile, over at seb and lewis's. Both of them were feeling this new found jealousy as they watched the new video together. It had been quite a few days since their call with daniel but they hadn't gotten a response yet, not from daniel or charles.
Seeing the carlos show his affection for charles every episode or live was frustrating them, charles not being with them just fuled that fire.

Soon they had reached their destination, a short alarm prank was played on lando that got him awake within seconds, in fear. "We have reached the place where we pick up the present, band oh my god I think I know what this is. Also editor blur the shop name and the shop" lando sighs as he points to the store behind that was blurred well. "Danny told me to let it be a suprise for you guys too"
They proceed to enter the store, where the video is again fadt forwarded, the store still blurred. The video cuts to them sitting in the car, this time lando being in thw front. "I cried, and i think I'll cry again. The present is like bloody lovely. Its with carlos in the back as i was deemed not responsible enough to be in the back now" lando says as he rolls his eyes, his attention is drawn by daniel who speaks up "you can show it now i think, we'll reach in like 10 minutes" lando perks up as he looks at the camera with a happy smile.
"Guys, my god. Look at our new family member, or charles's family member. Look at this cutie my god" lando turns around softly as he pans the camera to show a small tiny dachshund pup laying in Carlos's arms calmly, his tail wagged slowly too.
Carlos rubbed his finger over the pup's head gently as if to not startle the baby. "This is the present danny thought of with carlos. You lnow he's going to like cry right?"
Carlos nods as he smiles while daniel makes a agreeing sound "i know that very well, he wanted a dog forever, went to jules also when his parents said no." Carlos smiles "thats why he was excited when he was living with them, obviously living with them n all was a reason but having a dog also with him was also a reason" lando smiles a bit bitterly behind the camera.
"Well they fucked him huh? Now charles is suffering also i am going to have to cut this- editor sir pls clip-
"We go in now boys?"
"Yes!"
The pup flinched as carlos and daniel glared at him "lando, inner freaking voice" lando nods "sorry puppy, in we go guys"
The video cuts to lando coming inside the living room with camera panned to charles who smiles at him. "Ciao! Did lala start the video without me?" Charles gasps as he puts a hand over his heart in a dramatic gesture "I am deeply hurt"
Lando rolls his eyes from behind the camera, before he places it down on the tv table so they could capture the whole view. Charles raises a eyebrow "okayy now you are acting sus, whats up and where is danny and carlos?" Lando grins as charles frowns "what?"
"Nothing nothing" at that moment the others except daniel and carlos start entering the room. All of the confused "so dan called everyone here but doesnt show up himself?" Max asks as he sits down on one of the couches beside oscar yuki. At that moment daniel enters the room with a wide grin, charles turns around "what is going on mate? Why have you gathered us all here?"
"And our cam is on too?"
"Alrighty alright! So charles close your eyes " charles looks at him for a moment before he sighs and closes his eyes " keep your arms out" lando snickers as he says that while moving charles's arms.
He hear gasps and a whispered 'wtf' before he feels a small furry moving object kept in his arms, he opens his eyes quickly to see a small puppy in his arms sniffing around. Charles's mouth opens as his arms instinctively curl the puppy closer to his heart.
The room stays silent except for the puppy's sniffing sounds as he sniffs charles. Some more sniffing is joined, which daniel quickly notices that its from charles. "Oh kiddo" daniel sits beside charles as carlos sits down near lando's legs, his one hand on charles's knee. "Why are you crying charlie?, you dont like the gift? We could always--" Daniel gets cut of my charles basically falling into his arms "no no I love it, I love him, I love you and I love carlos too" charles sighs as daniel pushes the younger slightly back
"I just- I am so thankfull, He's adorable and I just cannot" charles starts crying again as the pup plays with his hands. Alex was snickering softly his own phone recording the moment as george teared up. Pierre was fondly looking charles, his own heart meltin. Yuki the menace just chuckled while esteban tried hard to keep him silent.
Oscar was just texting the rookie chat who was exploding after seeing the small video oscar had just sent them. Ollie one them being 'I AM NOT THE YOUNGEST ANYMORE?!.....i dont mind tho he's cute'
Max was grinning as he took a picand sipped on his redbull cause of course what else would the man drink. "And -i love lala too- Hes so fu**ing adorable Putain!" Lando started giggling as he patterd charles's head "there there, i love you to charlo now stop crying, you're giving dan and carlos grey hair early"
After a minute charles somehow got his crying under control, some sniffs still left. "Why tho?" He asked as he looked at daniel who shrugged.
(Mind you, this is still from youtube pov and theirs too so mentions of lewis, seb and charles's relationship got edited out but for you guys here)
"You needed it charlie, I mean you looked absolutely shattered after that fight with lewis and seb. And dont deny it, I know us being here has brought you somewhat happiness but you still look empty and it pained me, it pained csrlos " daniel sighs before continuing "you're like his brother and my godson. Whatever you were too jules, you are the same too me remember" charles nods tearfully as he cuddles the puppy closer to his heart.
"So i got this from me, as a healing gift and as our love alright?" Charles nods before his eyes widen "Whats his name? Do i get to keep it? Or does it alrewady have one? I wouldnt mind that, omg has he eaten something yet? What if he's hungry? He's going to think he has a bad dad! Wait i dont have dog food! Sh*t Ill drive-" Charles’s mouth is covered by lando who looks pleased as charles angrily mummers something.
"Thanks for that lando, he was bceoming like a parrot" max said as he laughed when charles glared at him. "No he doesnt have name, yes you can keep it, it's your puppy. Carlos did feed him a bit in the car. So i think it will be a few hours more before he feels hungry again" daniel says as charles finally slaps lando's hand away.
"What names are we thinking calamar?"
"James?"
"What is he? The prince of britan george?"
"Pch as if you'd come up with anything better"
"Sushi? Thats one good name yeah?"
"Mate its a dog not your favourite food"
"You ass-"
Charles stayed quiet throughout the chattering as he kept looking at his new adopted son who eas playing with his rings. "Leo" charles sniffs and wipes his eyes with one hand. "He is leo now" Daniel grins as he pulls charles closer as carlos sighs and sits between him and lando.
George and alex had seeming joined together to twllthe camera something. The others chatting amongst themselves. Carlos chose that moment to talk to the younger. "So you like leo?"
Charles scoffs "like?! I love leo. Thank you so so much carlitos and danny, landito too. Love you so much, best gift of my life right now. "Charles says as he squishes the puppy's cheek "and you mon bebe are my dearest love" carlos laughs as charles coos at leo "thank you carly, really thank you" charles says again with tears threatening to come out. "I did not think i'd get a dog myself and after that I missed roscoe too but Leo is now going rule my heart, aren't mon amore arent you?" Charles says turning to leo with a baby voice
"yes you are bebe, yes you are. You are going to give your older brothers hard time right?" Oscar chokes on a laugh at that from the couch beside them. "Ollie is already losing his mind on the fact he's not the youngest anymore, but also cause leo is too cute. See he knows it gosh you adorable pumpkin" oscar gushes and charles visibly melts at the interaction between oscar and leo "pumpkin? Thats cute" lando says as he and daniel laugh.
"Oi don't laugh at my mon fils" charles announces with a playful but probably serious glare. Daniel proudly looks at him (he is more proud that charles has started saying oi because of him) as carlos ruffles charles's hair
Obviously this conversation wasnt on the camera, instead just george and alex's voicees the only one being filtered in. "Lets end day 5 here, we'll take some time with leo as he bonds-" george glances back at charles and leo before looking back at the camera "more eith charlie"
"See ya"
And them the camera was turned off,

The scene cuts but before that could continue, lewis pauses the video. Seb looks at him "what? I am jealous okay. Fuck man I miss him like crazy." Seb doesnt say anything except a small nod, roscoe who had just finish eating starts barking at the tv. Seb chuckles at that as he gently pulls roscoe between them.
"Roscoe's jealous too now. Its okay love, charles will be back" lewis says as he cuddles the dog while seb sighs "Daniel still hasnt responded" he says as one of his hands stir the coffee in his cup. "I keep- I just want to see him...in person." Seb drags his palm across his face "i want to ask him how is he, heck i want to listen him be angry at us. I just want to hold him lew.mostly i want to know what really happened"
They did get distracted from their topic after seb's phone pinged with Charles’s new post upload. "Danny and chili?! He is calling carlos chili publicly now?!
--okay ill be honest i was writing this but then i thought okay ill make a short instagram thing too------
"Are ollie and oscar going to give us the shovel talk if-when we make up with charlie?" Seb ponders for a while before looking at lewis with a deadpan look "yes, I expect both of them too threaten us, also leo looks cute, but I dont like him being so close to carlos" seb grumbled as he crossed his hands "its cause of ferrari that they are close, smeh look at roscoe he is still growling at the tv" seb says as lewis sighs and brings one of his arm around seb's shoulders as he scrolls through the comments on the charles's post.

"UGH THIS IS TOO FUCKIN CUTE, he looks so soft lew and the photo and the cuddle. He's got thinner and i just want to cuddle him"seb rambles as roscoe pitfully sits beside his legs. "This is killing me too you know?"

The next clips are of them randomly enjoying their time.
"Guys, I came back from a swim at the lake with some of the boys and was searching for charlie with carlos when we found this" The camera is flipped to show charles sleeping on the sofa in the piano room with leo curled into a ball on his chest.
"Dios mio, Took several pics for mama leclerc and my mama, so they could giggle over him later on." Carlos says as he slowly kneels beside the sofa. "Do we have to wake him up lanno? He looks peacefull like for the first time since you know" carlos says he slowly brushes out some curls from charles's face. Lando groans from behind the camera "I knowwww, but if we don't wake him up now, he'll just sleep through lunch again and then also not get any sleep at night"
Carlos sighs and nods but he wakes up leo first softly petting his head. The pup blinks up st him and probably perks up as he jumps into carlos's arms "yeah yeah, okay leo love you too." Lando starts laughing as leo licks the spainard's whole face "now tio carlos have a job for you leo, wake up you dad yeah? Here the arena is yours" carlos says as he places leo back on charles's chest, leo immediately gets to work as he barks and starts licking charles's cheek.
The monegasque groans before he sleepily opens his eyes "wha? D'accord, d'accord, je suis réveillée, bébé" carlos and lando's laugh as charles finally sits up with a groan, his hand protectively holding leo.
"Woah have I been sleeping for two hours? You're back from your swim" lando nods behind the camera "all of you?" He gets a nod again, charles sighs loudly "damn, I guess dan put you up to mother me yeah?"
"Point on, now cmon get your self awake" Carlos and charles both get up as lando again flips the camera so he could get all three of them in the frame. Leo starts barking at the sight of carlos walking, he runs around the older in circles berore he gets picked up by carlos gives some kisses yo the pup before he settles down comfortably looking smug.
"Zio carlos is your favourite zio yeah?" Charles says in a baby voice to the pup as he takes the camera from lando to let the younger relax. "Thats not fair you know, cmon carlos your leo time is up. I want my nephew now" carlos just playfully pokes his tongue out and starts walking ahead faster, lando sprinting behind him to catch up.
Charles rolls his eyes at the camera "those are Leo's uncles, anyways i better head to lunch before dan comes up to find me and lando n carlos end up fighting over leo."
The clip cuts into the next few like george, esteban planning a prank with yuki and pulling oscar with them. It ends with angry dutch and french in the end from pierre and max. The next being the quadrant (charles,lando,alex and george) going on grocery shop mission.

"Now we are with the ogs, away from the bores. We also decided and claimed that we'll successfully bring groceries back."
"And I am second guessing our decision" alex says as he walks with the camera "Cmon mate, we can do it. Plus leo will needs food"
"and toys"
"lando no, he does not need more toys" lando scoffs as charles turns around to him "shush, My money, my nephew and my wish" charles rolls his eyes as alex chuckles. "Oi george, are you in a race? Why are you walking so ahead"
"I am just natrually fast mate! Keep up slow pokes!"
Fast forward the the video goes on about them creating chaos in the grocery shop as they somehow end up finishing carlos's list and also buying some extra stuff. They finally go back home.
"Why is the house silent?" Is the first thing george says as they enter the house, alex eyes narrow as he searches around. "Its almost too quiet, thats not right." Charles's heart picks up a beat but he stays steady as he beckons lando with the camera to move forward.
"dan?!"
"Max?'
"Oi anyone here?"
Charles sees the backdoor open and sighs, "found them guys, come through the back door" charles who was with lando step onto the grass as charles visibly melts at the sight infront of him. "Are you getting that?" Lando nods "absolutely"
Infront of the the others were just sitting around on mats or blankets while in the centre leo and oscar were in some playful wrestle. Charles seriously turns to the camera "my 2 out of 3 sons guys."
Charles winks at the camera before sprinting to oscar whose eyes widen but he laughs as charles tackles him, leo barking at them. "What are you two upto mes petits soucis, ey?"
Oscar gasps dramatically "petit?! Doesn’t that mean little? I am little?" Charles pauses and ponders before smiling "yes, petit. Both of you" oscar looks at charles before toppling into him.
Lando flips the camera, his own face now in the frame laughing tearfully "ah, oh my god okay. That was so funny anyways The video ends here hope you have enjoyed this video so far. "Charlie? Kid?" Charlie yells a 'yes comming!' To daniel. And surely does the monegasque enters their room minutes later with leo in his arms. Charles grins at him and daniel knows the topic he is going to mention is going to wipe that grin off but he doesnt have a right to keep this away.
"Cmon, sit here" charles confusely sits down on the bed, his legs cross now as he lets leo free on the bed. Daniel sighs "Remember day before we got leo? " charles nods in a reply "Yeah when you n oscar were at home alone"
Daniel nods this time "I got a call" charles raises an eyebrow to let daniel continue "From lewis and seb, it was lewis's number but seb was the one talking" charles deflated and a frown was on his face, it also didnt help that there was a sting at his heart at the mention of two of his ex? Boyfriends and also that- "and? Wha-ahem what did they say?"
"They were saying they missed you, and they wanted to sort this out, they want to talk to you" charles sighs this time letting his head fall in his hands. "Hey, you dont have to charlie okay? No one's forcing you kid. You take your time to answer and meet them" charles looks up at daniel's eyes and sees the worry and love.
"I need to think, I'll be alone tonight in the piano room." Daniel rubs his temple and opens his mouth to speak but gets cut off "no not to spiral but to think and take time to myself. However I dont promise if you see new bandages, I'll try though." Charles gets up , he leans down to press some kisses to the pups fur and lets daniel hold his hand. "I'll be fine, make sure leo sleeps cuddled danny" and with that charles makes his way to the piano room without stopping. Once he gets in there he locks the door, his eyes take in the mid-lit room, his hands clenching into fists.
He suddenly drops down on the ground, his chest heavy with emotions and his eyes already getting wet.
I don't know what think of this, my ex boyfriends? Fuck i dont even know if we are dating still, Huh? But I was so removable that those to kept staying together even after they left me. Fuck what i am thinking, they loved me right..right? Yeah yeah they loved me, they might still love me. It still hurts though.
My hand is on my heart in a instant trying to tug my tshirt to let some air in, as i feel myself struggling to breathe.
Why now? Why call now after they fucking yelled at me that day. Why listen to what I have to say now instead of hearing me out that day? "WHY NOW? Js why now!" Sobs wreck my body as i shiver, even if they somehow kind of hurt me the only people i want here right now are them. I love them so much, to the point it hurted when they said they don't trust me. I don't know how many minutes or hours go by until i stop crying. My gaze falls on my piano, my only peace giver right now (lewis would have corrected my english in a instant)
I know, I'll be disappointing many people by playing it, especially now. Specially danny, lando, oh his sweet osc and carlos. Maybe jules too and his papa but i think i have been disappointing them for a long time "Haven't I?" I look up n ask as if I am going to get a reply.
My body moves before i could stop myself, and I find myself sitting infront of a very very familar piano. My hands and mind seem out of control, as my fingers automatically find their place on the keys of the instrument. Pretty sure I am still crying, yet my fingers dont stop pressing the keys, i feel the familar sting after a few seconds? minutes? hours fuck I don't know how much time has gone by. It just feels so good to let go and feel the pain, the sting. I see jules standing there near the window behind the piano. He looks worried, pale and so comforting. why did you leave me jule, Take me with you please, If only I could end-
The sound of the door opening makes me pause everything, jules disappears. I look down at my hands and stare at the red. I let out a scoff, how lovely Red. It never leaves me does it.
"sharlo, oh carino" The thick accent makes My guess sure, I let the bigger hands guide Me towards the sofa (I wants to puke, how the nostalgia hits me hard). I registers bandages being wrapped around My fingers before I finally manage to say something "M sorry chili" The older doesnt answer but sighs in response and tugs me closer to him until I am snuggled into his side, I push down the tears once again as it oddly feels familar to how jules comforted me, papa and them. "Sharlie I am not angry at you promise, I am just wrecked to see you like this"
there is a heavy pause and I let the silence get the best of me slowly before he speaks up again "I know you better than anyone here charles, maybe not daniel but sometimes even more than him. You are my brother, mon frère, mi hermanito in every language and in every way possible except blood. So it hurts me to watch you mask yourself into something you aren't feeling up to. I know how you feel Perceval, and I am so sorry you feel like that and I cant help you except keep you closer and try to protect you from all the pain you have faced and will face. So No I am not angry sharl, I am just wondering will you ever let yourself be happy?" and that hits me, harder than anything and I start crying for the nth time tonight. carlos does nothing but pull me closer to him.
he faintly registers another person come in and he knows its lando, the younger brit would of course come seek where carlos was.
'- a short pov change-
lando comes in slowly, he knows when he sees the piano room's door half open. He knows what is awaiting him inside, and he still feels his heart trying to steel itself. He enters inside and closes n locks the door behind him. He first looks at the piano and frowns at the distinct red stains on them, he feels the nausea but he holds it down. He looks at the couch and walks to it, before sitting beside charles and carlos. he glances at the older amongst them and sees the worry carlos is holding in his eyes.
Normally He should feel jealous of how charles and carlos are. But really, he didn't, he knew charles saw carlos as a older brother like daniel. charles had told him once -not to carlos or daniel, he won't admit it infront of them yet- that he saw jules and his papa in them, that if they were around they'd act the exact same as them. That was when even the smallest amount of jealousy in him had cleared plus he was too worried himself for his friend too even be jealous.
He brushes his fingers through Charles's hair as the the older keeps crying. His body shaking by the temperature and also by the breaking of his mask. Yes lando wasn't stupid to not see how his friend was doing. He knew charles too long for just to think that charles would be getting better, thats why he tried sticking close to the guy, trying to distract him with stupid jokes. But he wasn't a fool to think that the mask charles has been trying to keep in place wouldn't break one day, And he was right. He broke out of his thoughts and looked at Carlos with a frown, carlos himself was frowning, his eyebrows almost joined together.

carlos held charles close and as tightly as possible. He seriously needed to go find those two stupid man and punch them until they understand how much they have broke charlie. He knows they love him and that the younger also does too, no matter what happens, but If carlos could he wants too bubble wrap the younger and put him in his pocket or something. He's sure daniel shares the same feeling.
carlos sighs and unclenches his fist and takes few more deep breaths before letting his anger go away - that doesn't mean he won't threaten to end the two racers life- He pushes charles a bit back and feels himself frowning more. "sharl, Please stop crying. Tell me what happen and no. No one's angry at you or going to be angry you for anything." Carlos looks at lando, who gets the memo and nods "yes! Yes of course not. If anyone is I promise you charlie I'll tie them to my car and get the fastest lap next race."
It worked somehow, they heard charles chuckle before he pulls back. He sniffs twice before wiping his eyes. "You idiot, The fia will fine you so hard" lando smirks "no I won't, but if i did it would be worth it."
Charles rolls his eyes in response, the three of them stay in silence, as lando sighs. "Look charlo, i know i dont know you like carlos or daniel but I know you enough to know how you kept that mask on since the day we cane here. Thats I won't tell you to calm down or relax. I wont even tell you that everything will be alright, not when I dont know if it will. Cause god If i could I'd make sure it would be alright." Lando sighs and looks at charles as he holds his hands.
"But I cant so I am ask-No. I am telling you to drop the bloody mask, and be yourself around us. No matter how broken you are, no matter how hard you have hit the rock bottom again. No matter if I have-have to clean your fingers. Just please dont hide, Dont let me find you spent or half dead over the piano. Not again" Lando doesn't get a reply but he gets a armfull of charles and that satisfies him. He hold the other just as tightly, and lets his face drop in the older's curls. He briefly looks at carlos, to see the older sadly smiling while rubbing the sobbing boy's back.
No one knows how much time passes by, but they all stay there on the couch cuddled up together. Charles was buried in the blankets with lando on his left and carlos on right. The view from the window infront of them was enough to lull them to sleep slowly. Charles lets go of his thoughts as he relaxes into the warmth surrounding them.
He probably will overthink about this again, but he knows he doesnt have to actually go back to hia ways to soothe his darkness. He has people on his side, more than ever. He doesnt have to think if jules will worry over him, the others aren't letting tht happen. So he will continue to be the way he is now. Relaxed n pleased. Even if it's just for today
--time skip--
"No cause genuinely, I am very close to breaking this door down!"
Charles woke up to more mumbled yells, he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and looked sround. He then remembered the last night- or well morning but you get the idea-he heard daniel outside the door yelling or something to other people who were also talking loudly. His eyes widened at the sound of daniel and he sat up to look at the surely bloody piano- oh it wasn't anymore.
He looked at carlos and lando and smiled to himself. Of course these 2 would have cleaned it up after he fell asleep.
"-i mean he's right este, what if charlie's in there on the ground! Omg what if tht if is a He is!"
Charles sighed as he listened to more of his friend's bullshit before he shook carlos up. He did sleep with the two heaviest sleepers in this house. "Carlos! Chili! Wake up you meat loaf!" He aggressively shook the older until he finally shuffled around. "Wake up carlos, you locked the door last night and now i am practically gonna get murdered by danny n pierre "
Carlos sleepily opened one of his eye "wha? No i did not lock the door I set that rule charlo" charles rolled his eyes at the older being so sure when he is still asleep when he remembers lando was the one who came in later that night.
He quickly turns to the brit who was still somehow attached to him. "You idiot, lando get up!" He whisper yelled shaking the younger aggressively. Lando wakes up in quite suprise before glaring at charles and whines closing his eyes.
Charles hears more whispers behind the door at that moment growing a bit louder.
"Does anyone have a key?!"
"No! Charles is the only one with the bloody key and he's in the fucking room"
"Great absolutely great, mind you this is why we established no locking this door"
Charles sighs before wiggling a bit trying to get lando off him. "Lando i swear to go! Go get up and open the door!" He says shaking him but lando only groans, not even opening his eyes. "Atleast leave me so i could open-"
"No, you make a great pillow" carlos abruptly says ans lando hums in agreement. The older pulls back charles until charles is snuggled beside carlos again. The Spaniard then kicks lando who yelps. "Go on you carbon, mi cariño opem the door"
"Why mee asshole?!"
"You locked it idiot" both charles and carlos said simultaneously. Honestly charles was falling asleep again, he wasn't even paying attention to what was being said but he did hear lando groan and get up. Charles sighed but held back an embarrassing whine as he lost lando's body heat.
Lando sleepily walked to the door, which by the way everyone on the other side were so loud. Lando unlocked the door and without looking at who is it just walked back to the couch. Charles held an open arm as lando just fell onto him. Charles sighed in satisfaction this time as his relished in the comfort.
Meanwhile, the others who shuffled inside as soon as the door opened, just stood there panicked as if ready to see the worst.

"Yeah oh you idiots, Yall panicked for no reason" oscar grumbled as charles sleepily smiles. He opened one eye that no one noticed.
"Idiots?! If its anyone its este"
"Hey! You agreed with me!"
"Honestly it was more daniel who started so don't call me one"
"Wow, you were the one grumbling about the key max, dont put it on me dipshit"
"I mean you were the one with george who ran inside the house after his walk when he saw no charles on the patio"
"Dude you don't bring me into this, you literally just crashed out-"
Charles tuned them out as he looked at oscar and slowly beckoned him over. He pushed lando a bit aside to make space between them. Oscar slowly walked towards them before settling comfortably into his side. Once done lando snuggled into oscar. Charles held back a smile at oscar's ridiculous night suit. It was papaya orange with mini dachshunds on it. Which also indicates he was woken directly from his sleep. Since oscar took his sleep seriously he did not play with the fact that the others were being stupid and had disturbed his peaceful slumber.
"woke you up early osc?" charles whispered, oscar nodded sleepily as he let charles brush his fingers through his hair. "dormi adesso, bambino" charles said, and even though oscar does not know any italian he just guessed he was telling him to sleep.

"you too charlie, You were prolly awake till morning. Don't wakeup until we have to" charles smiles sleepily at oscars mumbled words and lets himself join oscar in the dreamlands. Meanwhile the others who were still bickering, hadn't noticed that their main reason of concern had fallen asleep with oscar.
carlos sighed and opened his eyes only to squint them to glare at the noisy lads. "fucking damn it you people!" He whisper yelled enough that everyone just shut up, but not lound enough that charles or oscar might wake up "I swear to go, If one of you fucking tries to yell, scream, fight, argue so much that sharls wakes up. I'll make you fucking handle dish duty for the next days and also make sure to add extra salt in your meals!"
No one really talked after that as they stared at carlos's annoyed face, then at lando who was awake but sleepy and trying not to laugh over them. Then they looked at charles who had fallen back asleep and then at oscar- wait oscar?
"How the hell did we not notice him going there?" alex whispered to george who shrugged "I don't know mate, is He wearing some sound proof sandals?" lando scoffs loudly Or you are just fucking stupid mate" he gets a slap on his head by carlos for that but its worth it. Suddenly everyone shuts up as max moves to fall onto one of the single couch. He stills and looks at them and shurgs "what? Its like very early, like uh-"
"eight am" oscar sleepily supplies before he is shushed by charles and max clicks his fingers at him in agreement "yes eight! Its too early for anything. And this room is always inviting for me to fall asleep. So I'll accept its offer" max says before shutting his eyes, lando lets out a sleepy laugh at that as carlos shakes his head. Meanwhile Daniel who was standing a bit behind the others quickly looked around the room for any hints, he let out a breath of relief when he saw nothing and almost was ready to join the banter when he locked eyes with carlos who looked away quickly. Daniel looked at the trash can he missed and felt like his heart was slipping out of his hands. "Oh charlie" he whispered to himself.
"-danny?" The aussie looked up and quickly put a a grin to cover up his thoughts "what mate? I was thinking on where to sleep and I found myself a perfect place-oomph yeah I got old for jumping didn't I?" He said as he fell on one of the matresses that hey hadn't bothered to remove after the last time. soon enough like last time everyone had found themself a spot in the room to lay down and sleep. cause believe it or not, all the athletes were big sleepy heads- even the ones who pretend to be morning people- daniel couldn't resist himself from clicking a selfie and since he was almost at the end of the hoard he had managed to get everyone in the photo. He decided to post it quickly on his story with a caption that. He knew this was probably gonna really make some specific people jelly but did he care? No. After that was done he shut of his phone and tossed it somewhere in time when leo enters the room. Leo spotting everyone at the same place runs to them as quickly they can with his small paws. At first dan thinks the pup might come to him or charles but that little menace had started clawing max's leg who quickly pulled the pup in his arms protectively. Several people's jaws drop open at the sight of the max verstappen cuddling with leo who looks smug somehow as if saying 'yes I got my scariest uncle cuddling with me, sucks to be you'. Daniel laughs at his boyfriend and lies back down with a smile. He knew that things are soon gonna be hectic in no time. But he'd enjoy this first and let charles enjoy it to until the younger's fate lets him. God he really wished jules was here, He'd hold charles so closely that everything could've been prevented. but he'll stick to the promise he made to his first love. He'll protect charles as long as he can, like his own godchild. He dreams of jules smiling at him as he falls asleep.
