Chapter Text
as the final bell of the day rang, everyone but wind archer seemed to rush out of the school. he didn't mind school. sometimes he preferred it more than home. it was more structured, less lonely, and he actually felt enjoyed.
he stayed a bit linger in the locker room. he always tried to keep himself presentable, even if he couldn't do so very well without discomfort. clothes always sucked. he tried to fit in, but really no style would make you liked the best
he liked to skate sometimes. he sticked to that kind of style. it was the best he could do.
after he took the time to look the best he could, he left the locker rooms, on the way to the spot
the spot.
he loved it. it was his favorite place to go. he liked his friend. was he his best friend? he never really knew.
the spot was a park. well, kinda. it was the back of a... well, not exactly abandoned, but closed elementary. there were a lot of things about it that didn't see safe, kinda like the fact the playground was completely open and not closed in.
wind archer found it scary and disturbing the first few weeks his friend would take him there, but after a while of hearing the same, "its fine" and "don't worry" from said friend, he started to not care as much.
wind archer finally got there, and he, not surprisingly, wasn't the first one there.
