Chapter Text
Pearl Clan
Ended up in Unova, and are currently living with Ingo and Emmet.
Like the Diamond Clan, they let Ingo use Pokeballs on them, while also staying outside as much as possible.
Suffers a bit of a language barrier problem, though Ingo is able to act as a translator in most cases.
Ingo:
Returned to Unova around when Dawn returned to Sinnoh. After reuniting with Emmet, he returned to running the Battle Subway.
Thanks to his time in Hisui, he learned how to speak the Sinnoh language, which he mostly uses to talk with his friends.
Due to lacking a God Phone, he was initially unaware of the situation regarding the new Pokemon that showed up on his doorstep. However, he was able to notice their oddly familiar behaviour, becoming suspicious. However, it was only when he met up with Dawn again that he was able to put the pieces together.
Upon realising the truth, he was conflicted about what to do. However, once he saw that his former clansman still had faith in him, he swore he’d take care of them as best as he could.
Irida:
Very glad she’s a Glaceon, not just because it reminds her of her own, but because her new body temperature keeps her from feeling like she’s melting.
Felt a bit awkward about Ingo basically being in charge of the clan now, being the only human. However, she has faith in the former Warden to take care of her and the others as well as they took care of their Lords.
Still as loyal to Palkia as before, even if she isn’t the almighty Sinnoh like Palina thought she was.
Like Adaman, she enjoys being petted. And also like Adaman, she’ll never admit this.
Lian:
Really, really doesn’t like being a Goomy. He doesn’t have any arms or legs, he’s slow, and his horns are very sensitive.
Despite this, he’s a little terrified of evolving, since he’ll lose his eyes and get a coat of dissolving mucus that could hurt the people he cares about if he isn’t careful.
Thanks to his new vulnerable state, he often has to rely on the others and Ingo for help, which causes him to feel like a burden. They don’t mind helping him, of course.
Curious as to how the modern-day Sliggoo and Goodra get by without their metallic shell.
Calaba:
Conflicted on her new form. On the one hand, she’s glad to be in such a youthful body again. On the other, she doesn’t like how short she is now.
Has gained a craving for honey. She often has to herself back from going after any Combees in the area.
Whenever it gets cold, she often ends up hoarding whatever food she can get her paws on, though she is willing to share if asked.
Disappointed to learn that Ursalunas have gone extinct.
Palina:
Much more energetic now thanks to her new puppy body. Ingo or Emmet often take her on walks so she can get her energy out. (They don’t use a leash since she has more self control than the average Growlithe.)
Her nose is a lot more sensitive now. This isn’t a problem most of the time, though it can get a bit overwhelming in a place like a restaurant.
Concerned that Iscan hadn’t arrived in the present, and was overjoyed to see that he had. The fact that he’s a fish hasn’t done anything to diminish her love for him.
Really misses Lord Arcanine, though she’s glad to see the species as a whole has survived to the modern day, even if they look different to how she knew them.
Gaeric:
Really looking forward to evolving so he can be as big and strong as his Lord was.
Disappointed with the loss of his body, especially after he spent so much time sculpting it to perfection.
Due to his new biology, he tends to seek out colder areas. He often falls asleep in Ingo’s freezer.
Fascinated by the modern day Avalugg, wondering how it can get through the deep snow without the armor covering its lower jaw.
