Chapter Text
Diamond Clan
General
Currently living with Dawn.
Allowed Dawn to use Pokeballs on them so nobody could capture them. However, she keeps them out of them as much as possible.
Dawn:
Conflicted on the current situation. On the one hand, she’s glad to see her friends again. On the other, it’s a little weird that they’re essentially her pets now. She also feels bad that they were ripped away from their home just so she wouldn’t feel bad about not being able to see them.
Feels very awkward about treating her friends like pets, and only does so with their permission.
Found out about the truth via a text from the God Phone, which she held onto after returning home.
Adaman:
Had trouble getting used to having four-legs, but he was able to adjust after a while. That said, he still misses having hands.
Learning that the almighty Sinnoh he had spent his life worshiping was, in fact, merley the son of the real creator of the Universe threw him for a loop. Even still, his loyalty to Dialga remains.
Had a bit of an existential crisis when he realised that, to the world, he and everyone he knows has been dead for hundreds, if not thousands of years. However, he’s able to put on a strong face for the sake of the others.
Likes being pet, not that he’ll ever admit it.
Mai:
Can’t wait to evolve so she can get her eyes back.
Not used to flying, so she mostly crawls around to move. She tends to bump into things on account of having no eyes.
Since she’s a Zubat, her ears have become more sensitive. This can cause her to become overwhelmed by loud noises. To help with this, Dawn got her a specialised set of headphones.
Tries not to use her species ultrasonic cries, since they tend to be pretty loud.
Arezu:
Thanks to her new biology, she’s found it difficult to pursue her dreams of being a hairdresser. Not that it’ll stop her from trying.
Enjoys learning about the different hairstyles from across history, even if some of them make her want to die.
Thinks the current-day Lilligant is absolutely adorable, even if it’s different to the one she knows.
Has recently taken up dancing as a hobby to honor Lady Lilligant.
Iscan:
Ended up as a White-Striped Basculin, which he’s thankful for since the other two variants are notoriously violent.
Not wanting him to be stuck in a tank, Dawn ended up getting him a large plastic ball filled with water to help him get around. He doesn’t need water to live, but if he spends too long out of it, his scales get dry and uncomfortable.
Initially worried about how his changes would impact his relationship with Palina. However, after reuniting with her and seeing that their new forms have done nothing to lessen the love between them, the two have sworn to find a way to make things work.
A bit nervous about evolving, since Basculegion are cloaked in the souls of their comrades, but he tries not to think about it too much.
Melli:
Very proud to have taken the form of one of his beloved Stunky’s, even with the reputation that comes with it.
During a visit to the Lumiose Museum in Kalos, he was pretty ticked to see that Volo had gotten an exhibit and not him. Entirely because of Volo’s crimes, and not at all because he was jealous, why would you think that?
Glad to see that the modern day Voltorbs and Electrodes have gotten a more elegant design, believing it to be a testament to his and his descendants duty and care.
Asked Arezu to style his fur to look like his hair from back when he was human.
Sabi:
Loves her new wings, and is trying to teach herself how to fly, with mixed results. That being said, she does miss having hands, though her talons often work about as well in most cases.
As a Rufflet, she’s gained the species' instinct to fight things. She’s able to keep it in check unless seriously ticked off.
She still has her visions, which told her this would happen. Because of this, she wasn’t as surprised as the others were and is mostly just happy to see Dawn again.
Thinks the modern day Braviary is really cool, even without the psychic typing.
