Chapter Text
"Brother? Am I a freak?" The young enderman asked the god. Who was tending to his hair.
"A freak?" He responded, his tone filled with confusion. "Nonsense, even if you were, I would still have you here with me. As we watch through the heavens, you will stay by my side."
"Promise?" They pleaded. "Promise." He answered.
It had been twelve years since they've had that conversation, with Ranboo left alone in their home after his brother was exiled when he was thirteen. He was forbidden to know or find where his brother was banished to. "Dream... where did they send you?" He whispered to himself. Sitting at the same window where they held that conversation. "You promised that I will stay by your side all those years ago. Do they not know the pain they bought to us?" He asks. Knowing that no one will reply. He looks out the window, seeing the clear blue skies, the villages from afar, and cloudy grounds. Cloudy ground...? That's it! For someone like him, he could walk on it with no problem, so it might require more force for him to fall through... But that's not a problem to him, he wants- no, needs to find his brother. No matter what.
He heads towards his quarters, grabbing all he can fit into their own bag, like their clothes, their memory book, some other books he'll read when he's bored... He doesn't really know where he's going, but he knows that it's best to be prepared! Thinking the stuff he bought with is enough, he puts on a cloak to conceal himself for where he's going might contain hostility and heads out.
He now stands at the open castle doors, as he walks out of them he attempts jumping on the ground to let him fall through. It doesn't work. "Well then, this must require more force..." He said to himself, stepping back into the entrance before running to jump through, the attempt was deemed successful as he falls through the clouds; wincing in pain as he falls through, feeling like he was being stabbed by a bunch of needles. When he got towards the other side, he was greeted by the vast expanse of space. He floats in awe, looking around the objects that reside in the void. His eyes lock on the planet Earth, fascinated by it, he flies toward it. Thinking that maybe, just maybe his brother might be hiding there.
