Chapter Text
“Yes, my idol group needs a company to represent us. We would like that to be you, Strawberry Productions.” The short man sitting on the other side of the table spoke, sounding oddly serious. He had previously been smiling and joking around whenever he entered their agency.
Miyako looked over to Aqua, as if mentally asking him whether this guy was trustworthy. Aqua just shrugged, it seemed like an okay deal to him, it wasn’t like the guy was focused on anything other than his revenge anyways.
“We would need to see the rest of this group first, I’m sure you understand that, Venti.” Miyako decided, the air was tense as Venti thought over his options.
“Of course, I can get them all here! What times would work?” Venti asked, giving the woman a smile. Miyako let out a breath she hadn’t known she was holding, that guy could be scary when he was quiet.
“Anytime next week would be fine.” Miyako said, glancing back over at Aqua, who seemed to agree with the idea enough.
“Alrighty! We can be here on... Tuesday!” Venti promised, standing up from the chair he had been seated in to negotiate this. There were two highschoolers that he had been introduced to, Venti seemed glad to note that there were children at this agency too.
“Okay, see you then,” Miyako answered, gesturing that Venti could leave. Venti waved and said, “Bye Miyako! Cya Aqua and Ruby!”
“Bye Mr. Venti!” Ruby cheerfully answered, waving back enthusiastically at Venti. Aqua was less thrilled, and just said, “Bye.”
Once Venti left, Ruby exclaimed, “He was fun! Do you think he’d let me join his idol group?” draping herself over the chair she was sitting on, giving Miyako a quizzical look.
“It’s a male group; the chances are slim.” Aqua answered his twin, giving her a deadpanned look. He also answered this way because there was no way he was letting Ruby be an idol yet.
“Aww…” Ruby pouted, sitting back down in her chair. She really did want to be an idol and didn’t see why her brother always insisted that she shouldn’t be one.
“He’s right, Ruby.” Miyako agreed, sighing as she got started with the paperwork for Tuesday. This was going to be interesting…

“Hey Kazuha? When’d Venti say he would be back??” Heizhou asked, already getting bored. His red hair flipped upside down as he ran his fingers through it.
Kazuha looked up from the book he had been reading and answered, “About 2:30.” before going back to reading. It was only the two of them in the living room, seeing as Aether was at work, Xiao and Wanderer were in their rooms being emo- and Venti was obviously out.
“Okay,” Heizou said, going back to staring at the ceiling to try and find something to do. Tuesdays were very boring for him, because he didn’t have work.
“I’m back!” Came the cheery voice of Venti after he opened the front door of their shared house, closing it and locking it with a click.
“We’re all going to have to meet the agency on Tuesday.” Venti said before realizing that it was only Heizou and Kazuha in there. “Ehe… I guess we can discuss this during dinner,” Venti stated before flopping down on the couch next to Heizou.
A few hours later, Venti got back up to cook dinner, like the good motherly figure he was- Either way, they were going to have sweet madame and fried eggs, some of the few foods Venti could actually cook.
A few minutes into cooking, Aether got back from work with groceries, setting them on the counters to put away. He quickly put all of the food away where they were supposed to go, then rushed away to Xiao’s room.
Venti raised an eyebrow at this, however he already knew about the freaky things those two did, having walked in on them once or twice. Venti really needed to learn how to knock.
“Hey everyone! Food’s ready!” Venti shouted, making the rest of the house members come for food. He set everything down in his metaphorical children’s places.
“Thanks for the food, Venti,” Xiao said, walking in with Aether. They both looked sweaty, and Venti gave them a knowing look before answering with, “No problem,”
All the others slowly came in, and Wanderer tried to take his food and go back to his room, however Venti stopped him this time and said, “We have something to discuss.”
“Ah, okay.” Wanderer answered, sitting down at the table among his five other roommates. They were all confused at this news, wanting to know what Venti had to say.
“So, about 6REEZE, we all are going to have to be there in a week for a meeting. I chose Tuesday because most of us are off work then,” Venti stated, looking all his fellow band members in the eyes to see if there was even a hint of hesitation from any of them.
Several forms of okay came from his roommates. “Okay, so we’re all okay that day then?” Venti asked, just to be sure. He knew that some of the people here worked odd shifts, so he didn’t want to leave them behind.
“I think we’re all good, Venti,” Kazuha answered to which the rest just nodded their heads and started eating. Now it was time for the big wait until Tuesday.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………….………..........................................................................................................................................
The day had finally come where the 6REEZE would be either accepted or denied(Plot armor won’t let Miyako say no-). Everyone had made sure they at least looked decent before they all walked to the building. It wasn’t too far from the place they were staying for the time being.
“Heyy Miyako!” Venti greeted as he led the rest of his roommates into the room that consisted of Miyako and Aqua. No Ruby in sight.
“Hello, Venti and friends,” Miyako said in response, inviting all six of the short men to sit at the table. Wanderer had brought their laptop with a recording of their music on it via Venti’s suggestion.
“Ah, I guess I should introduce them, well, that’s Aether, Xiao, Kazuha, Heizou, and Wanderer!” Venti quickly introduced, pointing to each of them in order. Heizou was the only one to give a proper greeting, and that being a simple wave. The rest were a bit intimidated by Aqua’s intense stare.
“That’s an interesting group of names… So, about your group, we just have to settle a few political things, and of course, have documentation that you all are a part of Strawberry Productions.” Miyako said, pulling everyone’s attention back to the situation at hand.
In the end, they agreed to a 65%-35% cut, with Strawberry Productions gaining the larger portion. After a few boring contracts were signed, and some odd looks whenever Venti said he was 27, they were all official members of Strawberry Productions.
“You said something about already having music ready at our first meeting Venti, I assume that is why Wanderer has been carrying around that laptop all this time?” Miyako asked, gesturing towards the device that was with said short guy.
“Yep! We can play some of it if you would like,” Venti answered cheerfully, gesturing for Wanderer to play the soundtrack after Miyako gave a brief nod.
The music was honestly, not complete dumpster fire. Venti was a good composer, and the quality of the music alone shocked Miyako. “This is great, if I may ask, who created it?”
“Oh, I did!” Venti said happily, Wanderer paused the sounds. “I helped too,” Kazuha stated quietly, though they all could agree that Venti did most of the work.
The meeting went on for another hour before Aether had to leave for work and the rest of 6REEZE decided to leave. No point in staying if one member isn’t present.
Venti was tired for the day, and once Aether got home he decided to cook food. Venti deserved a break every once in a while. This was about to be an intriguing few years.
