Chapter Text
After some long planning and conversing the two busy bodies tired themselves out and drifted off to sleep. Both knowing the plans they have for days coming up will need them well rested.
The sun began to rise, the crisp smell of the morning and the sultriness in the air; paired with the smell of freshly brewed coffee and homemade breakfast made the grumpy, silver-haired man feel like he woke up in paradise. Killua hauled himself up from his bed, stretching as he stepped onto the floor, he sniffed the air taking in all the smells triggering his senses and hummed a small tune. Pleased with how the morning was starting, he got himself ready for the day and made his way to the kitchen. Turning the corner, he was met with a surprising and slightly amusing scene, Gon and Alluka in the kitchen both pacing around as they prepare everything for the day. Alluka on coffee and freshly made sweet treat duty while Gon made savory side dishes. Killua took in the whole scene and started to laugh into his hands,
All this time without him, and the third day he's here it's like he was never gone
Killua thought to himself, making his low laugh raise a couple octaves, catching the attention of the two attentive cooks. They both turn towards him, and as if they were anticipating his arrival, they stand up tall and smile brightly,
“..G’morning Killua~!”
“Gooood morning big brother!”
They both make their way up to him and grab both his arms, pulling him down to sit. Simultaneously they set the table and serve him his breakfast, now a big feast placed in front of Killua. Before he could comprehend everything that has happened so early in the morning, Gon throws a napkin over Killua's chest and Alluka takes over, massaging his shoulders,
“Big brother, you totally deserve this. You work so~ hard, sometimes you just need a break!”
Killua chuckles and rolls his eyes, “Okay s-”
“A long one!” Alluka interrupts, “A break where you can just be free, meet new people! Do things you haven't done in a really long time..”
Gon chimes in, coming with a fresh pot of coffee and pouring some into a mug.
“Everyone needs a break, take their pent-up frustration out on doing something they want..” Gon glances quickly at Alluka, she winks back in response.
Killua puts a hand on his shoulder, taking hold of Allukas and gliding it off of him
“Alright you guys, I get it. What do you want from me now?..”
Gon and Alluka look at each other and nod slightly, putting their attention back on Killua. Gon starts off first,
“Nothing! ..We just thought it would feel good to start the morning nicely, and best if we all did something today!”
“Hmm, No can do. I have to do some extra work today..” Killua shuffled in his seat and started to stand, but before his behind could fully get up Alluka gripped both of his shoulders, placing him back in his seat.
“Hey! ..Alluka...”
“Just hear us out, big brother please~?”
Killua, wanting to argue but bites his tongue, huffs and nods his head reluctantly.
“A picnic! A nice day out at the local park and then eat in nature after!” Gon exclaims, Alluka claps her hands together and skips her way next to Gon.
“A Park and Picnic Date Break!”
They both say in unison, faces brimming with happiness and excitement. Killua’s mind, on the other hand, was a warzone of yes’es and no’s. So many excuses bounced in and out of his head with most no’s being about work, but his yes’es outweighed his no’s, because if he said yes he could make his sister happy, and spend time with Gon.
“Sigh… agh,... okay.”
Gon and Alluka turn to each other and raise their arms, giving each other much deserved high fives.
“Yes!!”

The morning plan passed and the early evening was just starting. The three packed the trunk with what they needed for the day, Gon and Killua made their way up to the front and Alluka already settled in the back. Gon walked up to his side, ready to hop in the car and start their journey, he reached over but Killua smoothly placed his hand on the door handle and opened it for him. Gon looked over his shoulder and up at Killua, smirking,
“I didn’t think you were such a gentleman..”
Gon let out with a chuckle, Killua’s face flushed a bit and turned his head away from Gon’s gaze, scoffing.
“You’re.. you’re still injured, I would be an asshole if I didn’t do this stuff.”
Gon laughed and hit Kill’s side lightly, “I know, I know I was kidding..” He got into the car and made himself comfortable as Killua closed the door behind him. Gon rested his head on the window and held his side, him not knowing if the tingling sensation in his body was because of his injury or his heart beating.
Killua got into the car and started it up, driving off from the house and traveling to their destination. The drive was a bit long and consisted of Alluka wanting to control the music and Gon telling stories about where he’s been the past seven years, Alluka talking about school and friends. Killua, listening to them and focusing on driving, sometimes putting input into Alluka's stories about them both. After the last story was told they finally made it to the park, noticing it was a bit more packed than usual.
“Huh, a good amount of people had the same idea I guess.”
Killua unbuckled but instead of getting out he reached towards Gon's side and grabbed ahold of the handle, opening it for him from the inside. Gon, not expecting it, flushed at Kill being so close.
“I..I'm not that weak y’know..”
“Trust me, I don’t think you are, but I'm a gentleman aren’t I?”
Killua looked at him from the corner of his eye and grinned teasingly. Gon's face slowly turned a soft pink color and he huffed in embarrassment. Alluka, watching from the back, looking at both of the men back and forth as something was loading in her mind.
Ah! ..ooooo~ ...This will be interesting, hehe
