Some time after the 13th Hunter Chairman Election, Merdera Zoldyck breaks free! He has his heart set on finding a mysterious artifact on the mythical country of Wondra. Really though, he just wants to surpass his dad.
This is a story inspired by my favourite poorly written fan fictions. Though it started as a pure joke, at some point I couldn't help but put a little sincerity into it, and then a little more.

First part of my ongoing project "Book of Hunters", in which I reimagine the entire events of all of Hunter x Hunter. Starts as a mostly faithful novelisation of the events described in the manga and the two anime adaptations, but slowly evolves into its own story that is more inspired by the original medium rather than adapting it.
