Creatures in heaven.
Dandy stood as Astro locked eyes on him, Astro rushing at Dandy with fierce eyes.
Dandy closed his eyes, preparing for the worst pain in his life. Besides losing everything that he had.
Though, after a few seconds, he only heard heavy breathing.
Shouldn't he dead right now?
He should. Definitely.
But no, He isn't.
When Dandy opened his eyes, he found twisted Astro standing infront of him, Staring in dandy's eyes. A flicker of recognition in both of their eyes.
It was silent.
So silent.
And dandy hated it.
"A-astro?.." Dandy stared up at Astro. In response, he got a soothing hum from Astro.
"Are you.. Still in there?.." Dandy raised a eyebrow. Astro bent down to dandy's height. Picking up a hand and wiping the tears that were in Dandy's eyes. Dandy himself didn't even know that he was crying.
"You.. are..-?" Dandy stared at Astro, Astro nodded slowly, like he didn't understand what Dandy was saying, but still nodded.
"You- You are!" Dandy smiled- For the first time in awhile. Dandy threw himself at Astro, Sobbing uncontrollably from joy.
"I've missed you- So much-" Dandy croaked out.
Astro was dumbstruck, He looked down at Dandy, picking up a hand and running a hand through his petals. Letting out what sounded like a lullaby from when they were still kids.
Dandy was getting ichor on him, but he didn't care. He was with Astro, and Astro was with him.
Dandy and Astro had layed down, looking up at the ceiling.
"What do you think about, when you think about love, Astro?" Dandy said, turning his head and looking at him. Astro didnt respond, of course he didnt, his throat was clogged by that sticky mess that they were created with.
But atleast he let out a low hum. Dandy thought of it as astro thinking about it. "I know, right?" He chuckled.
"..." Dandy looked back at the ceiling, then glanced at astro. He couldn't ignore it anymore. "Astro, The memories of the past- Just tear through my head.. I just wanna know if it haunts you too. Just a nod of your head. Thats all I wanna see. Please."
Astro looked at Dandy. Pausing. Then he shook his head. "Oh.." Dandy paused. "Do you even.. remember..?" Astro shook his head once again.
"Do you remember the others? The mains- The twisted that walk along these floors with you- Do you even remember me!?" Dandy yelled, he didn't mean to, but it just came out.
Astro, paused once again. Then leaning in, Close to Dandy.
"Of course I remember you and the others."
What? I remember you and the others. How are you speaking right now? Astro? Astro??..
Please dont leave me again.
I cant take it anymore.
Then Dandy Woke, Picking up the picture frame on his bedside cabinet, He said
"We were just creatures in heaven."
