Disco: And now we bring you an hour of uninterrupted music!
Pablo: Alright lets use our break well I'm gonna get a bite to eat.
Steve: Could you get me something since I still have to work the music?
Pablo: Sure, hey Disco ya want anything?
Disco: No thanks I'm not hungry. I am gonna take a walk around the facility though, since I'm still pretty new.
Pablo: Sounds good.
Steve and Disco both exit the room. Disco walks around the building admiring the various posters and they eventually find the news room where they walk inside and see Mike and Vivian wrapping up.
Mike: Well that's all for us this afternoon please tune in..
Vivian: This evening for more news from Guildstar.
Mike: I'm Michael.
Vivian: And I'm Vivian.
Mike: Have a good rest of your afternoon. *Wink*
Mike spotted Disco coming into the room and walked over.
Mike: What brings you here?
Disco: I just found this place while looking around, it's good to know where people work.
Mike: Wow it's been less than a week and just can't resist me.
Disco: Weren't you the one who asked me to dinner when we first met?
Mike: It was just to get to know you, unless you want a real date~?
Disco could feel his face getting hot, a warm pink spreading on their face.
Mike: Looks like I hit a soft spot huh?
Disco: C-come on you can't say things like that!
Mike stepped closer and looked at Disco with a playfully smug expression.
Mike: This is fun, you're cute when your flustered.
Disco: Okay I get it you like me you 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴
Mike backs up a bit, a light shade of pink on his cheeks
Mike:I'm just joking with you! I'm not like that!
Disco raises an eyebrow, he notices Mike's tone got more defensive
Mike:dont look at me like that...
Disco grinned, finally getting the upper hand in their bickering
Disco:Well, since you sir are so distracting...I'm gonna get going so I can get to know the place better!
Mike seemed upset that Disco was gonna leave until he had an idea.
Mike: What if I showed you around since I know the place well!
Disco: hmm...I shouldn't deny such a kind offer so why not!
Mike and Disco left the room and walked around the hallways for a while chatting.
Meanwhile with the film crew:
Minnie: Mike does realize we can hear everything he is saying since is mic is still on right..? (A/N: They have the lil clip on mics)
Back to Disco and Mike:
Disco: Wow so you have really gotten to talk about that sorta thing?
Mike: Yeah it can be alot...
The two continued walking in silence when Steve ran up to the two of them in a rush.
Steve: Disco! Where have you been you're supposed to be on!
Disco: OH CRAP HAS IT BEEN AN HOUR ALREADY!? Sorry gotta run!
Disco turned but before they could run off Mike grabbed their hand.
Mike paused and stared at Disco with a red tint on his face.
Disco: Wha...
Mike: Uh...could I come with? I don't really have anything better to do.
Disco: Yeah you can come with, but we better hurry!
They started running to the recording booth still holding hands. They both noticed but decided not to say anything until they went in.
Disco: Hey uh do ya think that I could get my hand back?
Mike: Oh yeah..
Disco went live while Mike stood off to the side wishing he was still holding her hand.Minnie then came in and pulled Mike into the hallway.
Minnie: So Im all for office romances but if you're gonna distract people from their jobs it's gonna be an issue with HR.
Mike: Hey! Its not an "Office Romance" we are just friends.
Minnie: Your mic has been on this entire time and most of the crew has heard you talking to Disco.
Mike just froze in shock staring at Minnie, his face getting redder.
Minnie: You can go back to admiring your little crush once I'm done disconnecting your mic.
Mike just stood there for a while after Minnie left not knowing what to do. Mike eventually went back into the room and watched Disco host until there was a short commercial break.
Disco: Sooo what was that about?
Mike's face had a light tint of red while he explained everything.
Disco: So they heard your terrible flirting skills?
Mike: Hey! They are not terrible!
Disco: I guess I better get back to work, I don't wanna get in trouble with HR this early in my time working here...
Mike: I'll go since I'm soooo distracting.
The two laughed as Mike left. Disco saw Steve and Pablo look at each other with smirks on their faces but they don't say anything. Mike walked back to the news room hearing snickers from some of the film crew.
Mike: Whats so funny?
( A/N: so idk any more crew members or anything so we got a violin named Lynn and a sword named Cassius which i just came up with on the spot :] )
Mike stared at the two while they were attempting to stifle their laughter.
Cassius: Pftt- nothing!
Lynn: giggle Y-yeah it's nothing!
Minnie walks over to watch things unfold.
Minnie: By the way Mike knows you heard everything.
Cassius and Lynn burst into laughter while Mike's face slowly gets redder.
Lynn: HAHAHAHA sniff what were you thinking!? You really thought you were all that! Its insane how-
SLAP
Before they could continue taunting Mike slapped them across the face.
Minnie and Cassius stood there for a hot minute as the two started shouting at each other.
Lynn threw a punch and they were pulled away from each other.
Minnie: Mike to my office now! Lynn stay here we'll be talking later.
Mike and Minnie walked to her office. They sat down as Minnie gave Mike a ice pack for his face.
Minnie: You're lucky I saw everything and that I'm understanding. So just don't...do this again?
Mike just nodded in embarrassment and left.He went back to Disco's recording booth because he didn't wanna be alone or with the news crew.
Disco was talking about a sponsor when he saw Mike walk in and their eyes widened as they kept talking occasionally glancing at Mike trying to wrap up.
Disco: ...And now for 30 minutes of music!
Disco quickly ran over and gently held Mike's face looking at the massive bruise on his cheek.
Disco: What the fuck happened!? Are you ok?
Mike stared blankly mentally panicking about how close he and Disco were before snapping back to reality.
Mike: ...O-oh I kinda got into a fight? But I'm ok! Its nothing a bit of makeup can't fix-
Disco pulled Mike into a hug. Eventually letting go looking at Mike with a sad smile putting a hand back onto his face.
Disco: Please don't get into fights because of me.
Mike took Disco's free hand and held it slightly blushing.
Mike: sigh...I guess I won't.
Disco: Pftt-Did you really just say sigh aloud?
The two laughed enjoying each other's company.
