The bright light beams through the place, teal, green glass towers sitting there, leaning to the light, to shine. A mixed colored ultraman walks out on one of the buildings, it's Ultraman Z. Z is new to being a hero, well.. He tries to be.
After the last "events" happened, he returned to his own planet to meet his friends, and his dad, Ultraman Ace.
Z stretches out his arms, looking at the blue teal-ish sky.
" Wow, is the light brighter for me, or..? " Z looks around, and spots Zero. Z gleams in excitement and hops to go to his location.
" Master Zero! " Z said with happiness, he's very glad to see his teacher and idol near him.
" Oh, hello Z. " Zero gives him a slight smile.
" .. Just in time. I have a mission for you. " Zero replied to himself, giving Z a relaxed look.
" .. Really? What is it? "
" Hikari found a energy similar to an Ultraman. I need you to investigate it, and tell us what it is. If you don't find anything, contact us. "
Z processes this information for a while, then replying with a smile. He seems.. Excited.
" Ah, Alright then! Thank you for the information. Ill try my Ultra-Best to help! " Z replies, before bowing to Zero.
Before Zero could reply and show the location, Z gets ready to fly away, doing his mission.
" Bye, Master Zero! " Z flies away, he's very chipper, because he actually have his own mission, a very important one too.
Z zooms out of his home town planet. He looks at it for a second, relishing the sight, then continues. His cape sways at the wind, the cold air hugging his body.
" Master Zero actually gave me a solo mission.. I'm so happy! Maybe I am not rookie at all now!"
He pauses.
" Wow.. It's.. Very cold outside. It's never been THIS cold before.. Maybe it IS just me. " Z says with a shiver coming in.
" .. Huh? " Z squints his eyes, a bright spark lights up from far away.
He flies closer to the light, as he got closer, it was a.. Ultraman? They have a mixed red-grey color, with yellow eyes lighting up his face.
".. An ultraman..? " He seems confused, staring at Z.
Their distance to each other is not close, but not too far. They just.. Stayed silent, looking at each other.
" Who are you? " Z finally speaks, with a confused tone in his voice.
" No, who are YOU? " The ultraman replied, they seem confused too.
Z pauses, not too sure he could trust a random Ultraman. Maybe it was a kaiju? Maybe it was a rival in disguise? Well, he replied after a while. " .. My name's Z. Ultraman Z. "
The ultraman stares at Z's appearance for a second, not trusting him either.
" My name is Rution, but mainly Ultraman Arc. Call me that. "
Arc replied almost instantly.
" Uh.. Okay, I guess. " Z is slightly taken aback of his sudden reply, not used to people being very instant with replies.
Z pauses, then replies " .. You're going with me, Arc. "
" Now why should I go with you? " Arc seems skeptical, not trusting Z fully.
Z sighs, It was hard to convince this ultra to come with him and get his mission done. Until, a thought popped up in his mind.
" Um.. How about I talk some info about myself, then you can tell me your background..! "
" .. I'm relying on the information for this one. " Arc replied with a slight huff.
" And.. Follow me while you're at it. " Z said with a quieter voice.
" .. Why do you want me to come anyways? Is this a trap? " Arc said, with a un-trusting tone in his voice.
Z heavily sighs, then begins to explain his mission, his background, and about the Land Of Light. The way he explains it to Arc is oddly.. weird. He's not using his usual playful / excited tone, but just very.. humble.
It's very unusual for Z who is a cheerful and non-serious ultra to behave this well. Anyways, Arc listened intently, he begins to trust Z about his information of himself and the home-planet he's living.
But still, even if he's very serious right now, he still makes jokes, hoping Arc would relax a little while Z tells everything about him. He's slightly frustrated but really happy to find a ultraman to his home planet.
" So, this Zero guy, who is your teacher, told you to find a far away light energy source to investigate? " Arc asks, summarizing Z's explanation.
Z nods, " Yes, exactly. It.. Wouldn't hurt to follow me.. Right? " Z says with a shy voice, still excited to tell Zero about the mission.
" Okay then, lead the way and I'll explain about my background. " Arc replied, nodding.
" Ultra-nice! Make sure to speak slowly so I can process the info to Master Zero! " Z replied to Arc, obviously happy. A new ultra? And his first successful mission? This is great!
While Z is leading Arc to the Land Of Light, Arc begins to explain his background, home-planet, and more about his human host. Z was taken aback, a new ultra who already has a human host? This is going to be interesting.
Finally, they arrive. Z goes straight to Ultraman Hikari and Ultraman Zero. Z waves at them, Arc beside Z, slightly waving too.
Hikari and Zero notices and walks over.
" Welcome back, Z. " Hikari bowed, with a gentle smile on his face.
" Yes, welcome back. " Zero added, then pauses, looking at Arc. " Is this the energy source that Hikari found? An ultra? "
" Yes, Master Zero! This is Ultraman Arc, or Rution. He's from a different universe, and got stuck in space. I found him with the exact coordinates you gave me.. Err.. Guess not.. " Z explained, while wincing at the term of "coordinates". Implying he just flew straight to Arc.
" .. Hello, my name is Arc. It is nice to meet you, Ultraman Hikari, and Ultraman Zero, I suppose. " Arc looks around, not used to the surrounding area. He is still not familiar with the new ultraman around him.
" Well, Z. Are you hurt? " Zero asks Z, he seems a little bit worried because he didn't send a ultra to watch Z whild doing his mission.
" Oh! No, not at all! Thank you for asking. " Z smiles.
" Then, Arc. Can you and Hikari, the blue ultraman over there, talk for a minute? I promise we mean no harm, we need your information to make sure you're not a threat. "
Zero looks over at Arc, he seems slightly skeptical at the new ultraman.
" I can do that. Thank you. " Arc nodded, then walks over to Hikari.
When Arc walks away, Z skedaddles to Zero and proceeds to talk about the mission. Z is still super excited to find a new ultraman, a imagination type based power too.
