Chapter Text

Kiku and Yao arrived to their apartment in a absolute wreck. Yong Soo laid, sprawled out and snoring, on the living room couch, with the TV blaring a sappy romance K- drama. Kiku paced over and shut off the TV as Yao turned to the kitchen. He goes through the kitchen of half eaten produce, pandering over what to have for dinner.

“Ugh, I guess I have to stop by the supermarket again.” Yao grumbled to himself. He turned to Kiku who was still picking up after the lazy Korean.

“Kiku can you come with me? I’m going to be buying a lot of stuff.” Kiku obediently nodded, it's not like he has a choice anyway.

Arthur was buried in all his blankets and watching his favorite show.

Well, he wasn’t technically watching, more like daydreaming about his love of his life. Kiku. He couldn’t think about anything else but him.

He's too... adorable. I wonder how he dresses himself for- oh for crying out loud, don’t be such a pervert Kirkland!

He clenched fist and his jaw tightened.

That stupid arsehole absolutely blew my chance of getting closer to Kiku. Curse him!

His blond brows furrowed. For gods sake, why do I care so much anyway? With a click of his remote, he shuts off the Tv and throws the heaps on blankets off of him. He swung his feet off his bed, gloomily glancing around his dimly lit room. A sense of loneliness tugged at his heart

—I just want him for my own..

Kiku sat at his desk, his hunger satisfied by Yao’s delicious cooking. He was reviewing what they went over from math class before Yao crept into his room. He frowned at him, “onii san, please knock first.” He asked, setting down his pen. Yao plopped down on his bed with a puff.

“Why should I? You’re just studying.”

But it’s called boundaries. Kiku sighed. “What is it that you want from me?” Yao sat up and snapped his head towards Kiku.

“Stay away from Kirkland.” Yao ordered sternly. “He’s trouble and I don’t want him to be associated with him.” He added, his eyes narrowed. Kiku flinched, he was expecting Yao to bring this up. But apart of him still felt saddened by his order.

“I cant just ignore him.” He replied, his eyes flickered into the wood tiled floor.

“Then just avoid him.” Yao coldly suggested, twirling his long hazel hair. “Whatever you do, do not interact with him—“

“Why do I have to listen to you?” Kiku snapped back. his jaw tightened and his eyes stretched wide. He instantly regretted speaking up.

“A-ah, sorry—“

“ you listen to me because I know what’s best for you.” Yao spat back. Kiku obediently nodded.

“You are right. I am sorry Yao.” He apologized, turning back to his studies. Yao blinked, that was the first time in forever since he called me by my name. Yao shook his head.

“You should know better than being involved with Arthur.” He grumbled before hopping off the bed, and leaving with out closing the door behind him.

He can’t even listen to me and expects the same from me? Kiku shook his head. It doesn't matter I'm not listening to him this time.
