Chapter Text

Panel 1: Damian holding his Gotham Robin outfit in one hand and the stealth outfit Tony made in the other. The text reads: I think I understand you, now. Panel 2: Damian looking at a distant Red Hood, who is silhouetted on a rooftop. The text reads: More than I ever did.

Panel 3: Robin Damian, looking at an off-screen Batman and smiling. The text reads: All I ever wanted was to be acknowledged. Considered worthy. Irreplaceable. Panel 4: Robin Jason, looking at an off-screen Batman and smiling. The text reads: I think that you were the same. Panels 5 and 6: Robin Dick looking off screen and smiling, while Robin Tim looks back at Robin Dick. The text reads: That you, of all of them, knew what it's like to be the second choice.

Panels 7 and 8: Batman carrying a dead Robin Jason in his arms, and Robin Damian getting punched by the rogue who sent him across the multiverse. The text reads: Or what it's like to be torn away. i wanna note here that this comic is meant to be from damian's perspective, and that damian's wrong about tim. he just isn't in a place where he can properly acknowledge that yet. still, i tried to hint at it with tim's panel lol

also, if anybody who relies on alt text is here, id appreciate knowing whether it worked out for this set of images! i tried to be as succinct as possible, but it's a bit rough with a comic lol

anyway, i hope yall enjoyed :3 i could not stop thinking about jason and damian from the beginning of chapter 18, and this is the result
