health update 2?
Hi , guys.
Another week has passed so um, here's another update.
Today was CZ's birthday so she's turning the same age as KM and I. (Kind of, she's a year younger than us)
I tried my best to wrangle in my symptoms because it's her birthday and she's been really looking forward to spending it with the three of us. Since we were all working until the afternoon, we couldn't start in the morning or go somewhere fun but the plan was simple. Dinner night out, then CZ wanted to check out a bar that opened recently nearby, and then maybe ice cream cake later in the night if we didn't forget.
It was going really good. Like, really, really good. We talked about miscellaneous things, like things about our days, what we wanted to do in our careers, plans when we got home. I still wasn't able to eat as much as I used to, but I felt normal for the first time in a long time, hanahaki stuff notwithstanding.
But then things started to going downhill when we got to the bar. We each got a drink, sat in a corner of the place to kind of just… enjoy our time? One of the games we played was rating whether we'd hook up with someone there. It's kind of fun if no one else knows about it. I don't think I'd really hook up with these people. I just know attractive when I see it.
Anyway, I didn't realize I was kind of sitting in the middle of them until like… half way through my drink? And that just wasn't right so i excused myself to the restroom and let them sit alone for a bit.
I tried not to think about it, but you know how they say that the more you think about it, the harder it is not to? Yeah.
By the time I left the restroom and started to go back, I saw them together and they just. looked so perfect with each other that it hurt. And I was just frozen in place because I didn't know if I could interrupt their moment by coming back to them.
I stood there and watched how they leaned into each other and held each other, and how their eyes crinkled when they laughed together and looked into each others eyes. They kissed and CZ and KM looked so happy and peaceful together.
and I just… how could I walk into that after that? But I couldn't just not come back to them…?
And then it kind of hit me that maybe since they were dating, I should have said no to coming. Maybe they just didn't want to make me feel left out by not asking so they did and I naively said yes.
But I didn't know how to interrupt them without it being weird so… I kind of went to the bar to kind of stall for time, I guess. I didn't even know what to get. I figured I'd go with something strong so I'd hopefully just stop being afraid or letting my mind stop me. Before I know it, one of the people we rated walked up to me and was hitting on me I think? I'm not sure but it felt like it. We talked for a bit, the girl was pretty and nice but my mind was always coming back to them. I felt really bad that I couldn't really commit to the conversation because she really seemed like she was into me but I just couldn't concentrate.
At some point, I turned to look at them and I knew they saw me because CZ was giving me a smile and a thumbs up but it… kind of didn't look right? KM was more or less looking away trying to look nonchalant and I know that usually means that she's not happy so I was a bit concerned and meant to go check on them.
But then, I didn't realize something was wrong until the person hitting on me had looked at me funny and asked if I was okay. Because apparently, my nose was bleeding? like a LOT… She helped me to the restroom (again) and at some point, I just. I couldn't breathe. and then i couldn't stop wheezing too and it felt like something was completely blocking my throat. Before I knew it a whole fucking flower left my mouth.
Is that supposed to happen? Is a whole flower supposed to come up? I thought it was only petals?
Anyway, I just got home. CZ and KM haven't come home yet and I don't know what to feel about it. I'm scared of what this might mean. If this is a regular occurrence, it's going to be a lot harder to hide. Does anyone know any tips?
Funnily enough, I completely forgot that this could kill me. I mean, intellectually, I knew but this just made it so much more real.

my tip is confessing your feelings. i know it's scary but honestly, better to know now and make it quick than to keep suffering and cry about it in secret. who knows, you might still get them in the end. in my opinion, they're actually probably into you if you stop getting into your head so much.

wait, not to be nosy but there's no way that KM and CZ saw you had bloody nose faucet and didn't say anything. did they not help you at all?

wait, so they didn't even like… girl code you? check in with you after some time passed? sent you a text? asked where you were? You just fucking disappeared and they said NOTHING? ON CZ'S BIRTHDAY???

no… i didn't tell them anything… i left the venue without telling them because i didn't want them to see my shirt all bloody…
but now that you mention it, it was really rude of me to leave without telling them on CZ's birthday…

numbing spray is used for things like toothaches and canker sores and stuff, my guy. (or I guess spice tolerance if you're weak)

I use it for sore throats too so that can help when/if op's throat starts to get itchy or sore because of the flowers coming up
