*Henry's PoV*
The helicopter was supposed to drop us off as usual. I had always done this with Charles.
Charles was supposed to be the one in the front seat. He was supposed to be piloting.
But he wasn't. And it's because of me.
“Alright, Henry. Time to do this.”
“Okay.”
*Ellie's PoV*
This again. Well, no time to argue about Henry's one word answers.
“Come on, let's go.” We carefully glanced outside of the helicopter, and I could hear the loud whirring of the airship.
It'll be hard to get on.
Shit. We hadn't thought about that.
“How do we get on the ship?”
Henry shrugs. “Go through the hatch?”
That was the first time Henry has said more than one complete word to me. I'm thoroughly surprised, but I have to focus on the mission.
“Okay, we can try that.”
I take one more glance outside.
“We have to jump off. Onto the airship.”
Henry nods once.
*Charles’ PoV*
Huh. Sven didn't abruptly awaken me today. I guess that's a good thing.
Still, thinking about it now, he usually makes me more energized.
He's a bit like Henry too.
I've got to stop thinking about Henry, he probably won't forgive me, so I should stop trying to get him to like me again.
Even if I do escape.
Anyways, the airship was calmer with the meeting going on...
Suddenly, a loud sound made me jump.
What was that? The alarms were blaring, the piercing noise making me flinch. Everywhere around me, others started looking around, careful to watch for intruders.
Someone shouts,”It's the government!”
Maybe Henry didn't forget about me.
