Stepping onto wooden flooring Sabre and Rainbow Steve entered what looked like some sort of office for a boss, many book shelves were on the back wall behind the big desk which had a Steve standing in front of it... "Elemental Steve" Sabre called out to the man who was already staring at the two.
"Why are you here?" Elemental turned his whole body to face the duo, lowering the blue flower in his hand which had a small blue pearl in the middle. "Uh hey old friend...!" Sabre stuttered out making Rainbow cringe at the greeting, "We came to see what you've been up to since the whole reset thingy you know, everyone is now magically alive."
"Yes I am aware of this 'reset' is this the only reason you have come to see me?". Sabre glanced at the multi colored Steve standing next to him earning a sigh from the Steve, "Sabre and I have come to you for help, as far as we know you are the only Steve strong enough that might be willing to actively assist us."
Rainbow waited for a response before continuing "And if you do aid us you wont have to deal with these parasites alone, I highly doubt it will take them a long time to find this place. They're much smarter than they may seem"
Elemental lifted the flower in his hand, taking the small pearl and stuffing it into some pocket dimension before crushing the flower and letting the blue pointy petals drop to the floor. "How do you think I will be of service to you and your small town?" Elemental said getting a small barley noticeable glare from the other Steve.
Sabre grew a very wide smile on his face, "We have some people back at the town who may be able to brain storm some ideas, we need a way to go outside the town walls without being attacked but we also wanna make it so that anyone who need shelter can accesses the town without any trouble."
"Who are these people, do I know of them?" Elemental's eyes went to Rainbow. "You might recognize one of them, an old friend of mine before Sabre was around." Elemental looked between the two seeming lost in thought, "Alright... The Rainbow Town is our next destination correct?"
Rainbow gave the man a nod, "Yes I believe so, shall we go?" Rainbow asked the smaller player next to him, "Yeah lets go!" Sabre then turned around and started walking towards the portal they entered from, Rainbow took a quick glance at the other more powerful Steve and then started following the player with Elemental slowly trailing behind them.

Lightning scattered around the middle of the town as the three teleported in, Steve's of all sorts of colors walked around the town, children running around and playing while adults did chores or talked with one another.
Elemental took his time taking everything in, adjusting to the loud and busy noises of the streets. however unlike Sabre and Elemental, Rainbow did not want to stay and look around so he was the first to start walking towards the laboratory.
As the two followed the impatient Steve towards the laboratory it was made clear why the walls needed to be expanded. Tents were set up around the Rainbow tower, the lack of space made it impossible to build more houses for every Steve that came in expecting to be protected.
The trio making their way through the crowds of Steve's finally made it to the laboratory wasting no time to get inside and out of the way of anyone needing the space they inhabited. "hello! is anyone here?" Rainbow called out before walking down the steps that led to the lower levels of the lab.
Reaching the first level some crashes could be heard while a pair of footsteps pounded down the hallway revealing some brown looking Steve? no not a Steve but it wasn't like Sabre, Elemental couldn't figure out what it was but it was clearly like any normal Steve.
The being stopped in front of the trio crouching down to catch its breath. "Hey guys... *huff* is this the person you guys were talking about?" The brown being motioned towards Elemental. "Yup this is him, Elemental Steve, this is the scientist, scientist, Elemental Steve." Sabre introduced
"Well it is certainly nice to meet you Elemental" The scientist held out his hand with Elemental taking it into a formal greeting "Nice to meet you as well" Letting go of his hand the scientist turned around and motioned for the trio to follow him deeper into the lab.
The four of them walked down a cramped small and dark hallway before walking through a set of doors that led into a much bigger area which had more of the brown people that looked exactly like the scientist and a single Red Steve in a lab coat who didn't seem to care about what was going on around him.
What was most noticeable however was the big dome in the middle of the room that had what looked to be some form of giant dark green egg that could for a whole Steve inside, vines grew around the egg like some sort of protection.
"Welcome to the main part of the laboratory where most experiments happen, like this giant egg that we are working with." the scientist motioned towards the dome in the middle of the room. "uh are you sure that this is safe, that thing could hatch and it might be dangerous."
"Do not worry Rainbow the glass is very strong and we have many safety precautions in case anything were to happen that might put people in danger."
"what is it anyway" Elemental questioned.
"well as far as we can tell it might be a parasite egg but we aren't sure if it is an infected parasite or a normal parasite"
"what's the difference?"
"I'm glad you asked! normal parasites are very big creatures that have the arms of a praying mantis, their legs are very strong making them able to jump very high, the parasites aren't much faster than a normal Steve but have much more stamina than anything we've ever studied. they tend to eat anything that moves, and they are very smart you cant trick them by being still if they have seen you move at all they will attack."
"however with that being said if you are able to get out of their sight and be as still as possible there's a chance that you will be unnoticed but it's just recommended to run away from them. as far as we know not a single person has been able to kill one of these things."
"now for the infected parasites. as we have studied, The parasites will either just straight up eat you or turn you into one of them, the infected parasites aren't nearly as dangerous as the normal parasites but they can still be a danger if not handled properly."
"The infected parasites are Steve's if you gave them super jumping and took away any other ability, do be noted that green Steve abilities are able to cure them" The scientist points to the red Steve working on some sort of potion.
"That there is professor Red he was once an infected parasite however he was able to be cured and is now back to normal with a few new mutations" Looking over to the Red Steve Elemental could spot some antennas on his head.
"Still we have yet to study the entire process of the infection and we have yet to figure out if there is a normal parasite inside the egg or an infected parasite."
