Hey guys! How long has it been! *Checks calendar* Holy shit—
Anyways, ignoring that, I have some news! First of all, I would really like to apologize to everyone who’s been waiting this long. I’ll be honest, my Blue Lock hyperfixation had long faded away and been replaced by a Gachiakuta and Minecraft one.
However, I’ve found myself yet again travelling through these perilous jungles once again! (And by that I mean I binged a shit ton of Bunny-centric fics, god I love that man)
And well, I’ve lowkey had a creative block as to how keep going with the chapter I was writing? Cause I’ll be honest, I was not liking the way it was going and I hate the fact that I got too excited and did the whole Sae and Reader thing a bit too early.
Speaking of Reader, I also found myself trying to diverge from the general monotony that comes with Reader inserts, because I’ve realized that it really limits my creativity when it comes to certain topics that may be sensible to actual readers of this fanfic.
And with the introduction of new characters like Hugo and Bunny— Well, I just wanted to add so much that I really couldn’t because of the foundations that I set WAY TOO EARLY in the story.
So I’ve decided to rewrite it! Most of it will be kept intact, but I am going to tweak a lot of details. And dialogues (they felt kind of stiff) Like for example, instead of using a Reader Insert, I will actually use a full fledged OC because I feel more comfortable exploring certain themes with silly fictional characters that I can create and mold to my liking in my head.
I can’t guarantee that the rewrite will happen immediately, but I will try to churn it out within a month from now on (or two who knows) because I got a shit ton of stuff to do this April but it’s the fun stuff so maybe it’ll give me even more motivation to write!
I would like to give my thanks to all the readers that have been patiently waiting for any news regarding this fic and tell them that I appreciate their silent support and patience for this little project of mine!
Last little piece from good old me: to any writers who are planning out stories with big reveals, please don’t let yourself be overtake by excitement and do them too soon! I’ve fallen victim of this with this fic and I’ll be honest, in the beginning I thought it was a great idea and then I realized I had locked myself into creative jail.
