Chapter Text
Tuesday, 7th of November, 1989
Josephine was and is not a morning person. Which is why she woke up forty minutes before breakfast ended. With her uniform disheveled she rushes out of her dormitory and towards the Great Hall, where breakfast is being held. Unfortunately on her way there, she had found herself lost, looking at the school map behind the schedule didn’t exactly bear any fruit. Looking at her surroundings, the school walls all looked the same, they didn't exactly tell you where you are. So she keeps walking, hoping to find something, preferably the Great Hall, or someone to ask for directions.
Eventually after ten minutes of walking, she finally finds the Great Hall. Students are already walking out and finishing their meal. Meanwhile Josephine just got there, sighing, she quickly sat down next to a girl eating another portion of food. At least someone else was still eating besides her. The girl has shoulder length straight black hair, pale beige skin, and two small periwinkle bows pinned on either side of her head.
“You gonna eat that?” The girl next to her asks, her mouth full of food. A boy with a flamboyant aura beside Josephine suddenly taps her shoulder. “Don’t give her your food…. She’s gonna swallow it all.. It's like her stomach's made up of a black hole.” Josephine stares at her half-filled plate in confusion, before looking at the boy. The boy had pale yellow-ish skin, short curly hair, and thick square glasses. Those glasses made his eyes look bigger, which Josephine found quite silly.
“What?” she questioned the boy, she looked at him for a few seconds and when Josephine looked back down to her plate, all her food was gone. That's not right, Josephine turns her head towards the girl’s plate and sees that her omelette is now on that girl's plate. Her mouth falls open in shock. How? They were not taught spells for teleportation yet. She looked at her plate and back at the girl in confusion, maybe she accidentally mistook it as the food served, Josephine thought, doubtingly. Now she has ten minutes left before class and decides to just grab some buttered bread to eat on the way to class.
On her way there, she was stopped by a familiar face, Regina. “Hey Josephine, we didn’t see you at the Great Hall this morning. Did you wake up late?” Regina asks. “Yeah.. I woke up around 7.50” Josephine sighs, taking a few bites from her bread.
“To be fair, it was the holidays! I got used to waking up late and my alarm clock isn't here!” Josephine shrugs, “What’s an alarm clock?” Regina asks, while looking at her schedule, “uh… a sound in a thing… that helps you wake up?? I’m sure magic has something similar.” Regina tilted her head, “No… uh, anyway, look Arvinwill! You have potions together with me after this!!” Josephine looks at her own schedule. “How do you know?" Regina leans over Josephine’s schedule. “Look, silly, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw have potions together on Tuesday.” Regina points at the schedule. Josephine let out a small ‘ahh…’
After a while, Josephine realized Raph was not with them. “Where's Raphael? She would've talked my ears off by now.” Josephine asks. “Hmm, do you want to go find her before classes start?” Regina suggests, already dragging Josephine through the long hallways into another hallway.
After walking for a while, they finally saw Raph at the end of that hallway. She was talking to two people. They approached the three quietly, Raph was talking about the sorting ceremony with them. “Like I said, you definitely should've been in Slytherin, Kesya!” “Then what about Sabrina?” “Hey! Didn’t you hear? The sorting hat called me brave, courageous, and generous. I'm very much Gryffindor!” Sabrina boasts. “All the hat did to you was throw insults, Kesya." Raph chuckles. “But seriously, it's nice seeing you guys here. What class are you guys in, by the way? I'm Slytherin two” Sabrina opened her schedule and looked at the top left corner. “Oh I'm in Gryffindor one.” “Same as me.” Raph scoffs, “Blimey, we have no subjects together today... and it’s flying class first thing in the morning for me too.”
“What's Gryffindor one?” Josephine interrupts. The three look at Josephine weirdly before laughing hysterically. “Hahaha... good one, Arvinwill.” Kesya sighs. “Don’t laugh at her, Kesya, she's just a muggle.” Raph chimes in, scolding her, which is ironic considering she laughed with them as well, and continues. “So each house gets divided into two, for example; Gryffindor one and Gryffindor two, or Slytherin one and Slytherin two. You know what class you are by looking at the top left corner of your schedule. See there? you’re in Ravenclaw two.”
Raph points at Josephine's schedule. A sudden thought comes to mind as she asks Josephine something, “Actually, do we have class together, Seph?” Josephine squints at her schedule, “Uhhhh… no? Hold on- Since when did I agree that you can call me ‘Seph’?” “Eh? Well.. It's easier to call you like that! Plus, it's matching with my name! Oh, right, rude of me to forget. These are my childhood friends; Sabrina Rutt Greengrass and Kesya Elizabeth Selwyn. Guys, there are my.. um, a few people I met recently! Regina.. Grace…? Blackwood?? Uhh… Sure… and Josephine Aria Arvinwill, right?” “Gracielle, Delacroix” Regina corrects Raph.
Sabrina coughs “Ahem, yeah nice to meet you.” “Yea you guys seem.. cool.” Kesya smiles, but inches away from Josephine. “Anyways, we gotta go. Class is starting soon, see you ‘round Fey” Kesya starts walking away at a suspiciously brisk pace, dragging Sabrina. Raph waves at them goodbye in return but she froze and turns towards the two remaining people, suddenly eyed widening like she just realized something. “Merlin’s mud covered boot! Flying class is gonna start and I'm still here, well then, better get going. See ya!” Raph waves at them goodbye and ran off to the direction of the fields, while Regina dragged Josephine away.
“Where are we going? We have different classes!” Josephine cries out. Regina stops and looks at her, “Knowing you, Arvinwill, you probably don't know where Charms are being held." Josephine gasps, offended, “You’re right though…“ She coughs awkwardly.
Regina leads Josephine to the Charms class before sprinting at full speed to Herbology Class. Josephine breathes heavily, thankful she has two minutes left to spare. Entering the classroom, she decides to sit between the boy from breakfast and a boy that she recognizes as the one who took way too long in the sorting ceremony. The sorting ceremony boy is relatively tall and plain looking with pale skin and generally asian features. She sighs, it isn’t the best seat but what choice does she have. She really needs to get to class earlier to not sit between these two again.
The class starts and the teacher, Mr Flitwick, starts teaching the class about a spell called ‘Wingardium leviosa’ that levitates and moves objects at will using hand motions.
When the professors allowed them to try it out on a feather, the boy beside her looked quite confident in casting the spell. He cracked his knuckles and grabbed his wand, swishing it around. But instead of levitating, the boy managed to explode the poor feather. The ash went everywhere, and smoke came from his wand and the feather. Thankfully, Josephine managed to block her face with her arm and only got the ash on her sleeves. The boy, however, was completely covered in ash. He looks at Josephine and smiles apologetically. “Ah, that's.. not supposed to happen, sorry there, love. I didn't mean to dirty your clothing there, let me help you clean it.” He reached his hand out, but it was also covered in ash. Josephine inches a bit farther away, “Uh, no thanks. You should really clean that though.” Josephine gestures vaguely at him. “Clean what?” “...everything.”
The boy looks down, realizing he’s completely covered in ash. “Alrighty then… My name is Reynard, Reynard Ashclaw. You?” The boy reaches a hand out for a handshake before realizing. “eh… Sorry.” “Josephine Aria Arvinwill” “Well, Ms. Arvinwill, it's a pleasure to meet you. So-” “Mr. Ashclaw, why don't you grab another feather and try again?” Professor Flitwick says patiently to the ash-covered boy gently as he flicked his wand, pointing it towards their table, and casts a spell to clean the ash in their surroundings. "Yes professor." Reynard answered. Not long after, someone managed to burn a feather, another one poked another's head with their wand. It was quite chaotic in Josephine's class.
Meanwhile Regina is having a nice time in herbology with Professor Sprout. Though, a housemate of Regina—A tall skinny boy with curly brown hair, pale skin, and brown eyes; Io Juniper Yaxley— kept bothering her with questions, some complex questions about the subject, others with obvious answers, and there were some that made absolutely no sense in any way. Regina answered them all, quite patiently in spite of the absurd number of questions thrown at her, at the expense of not knowing what the professor said.
But she knew a bit about herbology, she already read a book about it and had learned it in one of her tutoring lessons. So when the professor gave them an assignment, even if she didn't pay much attention she could still do it perfectly. Meanwhile, Io had to ask her multiple questions on how to do the assignment and still managed to mess up somehow.
She sighs exasperatedly and wondered how Raph is doing with her flying class. She hopes she's having a better time.
Raph had just witnessed twenty broom crashes in a span of less than an hour. Some of them were caused by the two Weasley twins, Fred and George. A chubby Chinese boy crashed multiple times because he kept leaning sideways and spun around until he fell face planting the ground out of dizziness.
Raph quickly learns from the students laughing that his name is Darwin Marcus Jr. Then, two boys that were laughing at Darwin, Malvin Kollvyr Citrus and Malvins A. Vytzerie crash into one another when they tried riding their brooms. Raph looks at them and sighs. These Gryffindors are quite the hassle, she thought, flying quite easily. Her dad had taught her flying once with her friend, Zaydan.
This is gonna be a long day.. she sighs to herself.
She wonders what her other friends are doing right now.
For Josephine, two hours of Charms between Reynard Ashclaw and—the boy from breakfast she quickly learns the name of—Andres O'Dide, was rather torturous in her opinion. Reynard kept almost exploding everything—She’s starting to think it was on purpose—, and Andres kept talking about horses and unicorns. When the lesson was over, Josephine was the first to leave the class with how fast she sprinted towards the potions classroom to find a good seat while waiting for Regina.
Josephine managed to get there five minutes early, and Regina made it there right on time, Professor Snape trailing right behind her. Unfortunately a boy with bright red cheeks was right behind Professor Snape and got the door slammed in his face. Regina pants tiredly, “I was running with Chandler, but he didn't make it fast enough, I feel so bad.”
“You mean Jojo?” Io asks from the table in front of theirs, he was sitting with Reynard. The door is pushed open not long after and Jojo walks in and scans the classroom to find a seat. Professor Snape looks at him and gives him a surprise quiz and takes one point from Hufflepuff for failing to answer. The Professor then continues on and gives them a lecture about a potion before giving them a group assignment with two group members. So Josephine decides to just be with Regina.
Since the time is already nearing lunch Professor Snape tells them to start mixing the potion after lunch. First they need to learn how to make it properly, because potion making is a lot like baking; miss a step and the whole thing turns out different. It was boring but Josephine wrote everything down. Then lunch finally comes and everyone starts rushing to the Great Hall to eat, since there’s still potions after lunch Josephine decides to just leave her bag at the potions classroom.
At the Great Hall, Regina invites Josephine to sit beside her for lunch. “Are we allowed to do this?” “Of course, there's no rule forbidding us from doing it,” Regina shrugs, grabbing food and putting it on her plate. Josephine was a bit nervous but shrugged it off and ate with her. Not long after, another student sits beside them: Raph! She was still panting from running all the way to the Great Hall.
“Am I late for something guys?” Raph says between breaths. “No, just like ten minutes late for lunch time.” Raph laughs, sounding more like a wheeze, at Josephine’s comment and grabs some food for her plate. “I meant gossip, silly.” “No, not really, how was Herbology?” “Eh.. it was whatever, screaming plants and all.. how's potions class? I don’t have mine till Thursday. What's the latest assignment?” “Well, we’ve got to make a potion in groups of two. I believe the potion is called ‘Cure for Boils’,” Raph flinches when a voice from beside her speaks. The voice comes from a tall boy with neatly styled dirty blonde hair and bright grey eyes.
“Cedric?! Merlin's beard! You scared me, what are you doing here?” She snaps her head towards the boy, “What do you mean? This is my house table, of course I’m here.” Cedric laughs, then stops to look at Regina and Josephine, “You’re with other people now? I’m truly heartbroken, The Legendary Ellie replacing The One And Only Cedric” He teases, fake sobbing. Raph just cringed and scoots away from him. She sighs, “Just say you wanna meet them, Cece. This is my friend, Regina Blackwood, and this is Josephine Arvinwill.” Raph gestures towards the two. Regina waves at him politely, and Josephine gives him a side glance, continuing to eat. Cedric choked on his food, slowly looking at Raph, “I thought you promised not to call me that in front of girls.” “Whatever.”
“I didn’t expect you to join Hogwarts though..” “You were going to join.” “But you could’ve joined last year.” “Didn’t want to.” “Why?” “Cause you weren’t there.” They kept talking while eating, Raph occasionally would turn to Josephine and Regina to tell them an embarrassing story about Cedric but he would cover her mouth or shove her spoon up her mouth to stop her from talking, and vice versa.
While eating, Raph realised she had magically gotten more vegetables on her plate. She turns her head to her left. “Are we still dumping food on each other's plates now, Cece?” She groaned. Cedric just dumped more onto her plate. “You like vegetables, and they’re healthy. You should eat a lot of them, so you can be as tall and handsome as me.” Cedric smiles, and inches the broccoli on his fork towards Raph. “I’m not eating off of your fork, eww” Raph pushes it away from her mouth and gives some of Cedric's vegetables to Josephine's plate.
Ten minutes before lunch ends, Raph stands up abruptly. “Eh.. I gotta go guys.” Raph smiles at him then at the two girls. “Why? Where are you going?” “Astronomy class.” “Oh, tough walk, good luck Ellie.” Cedric waves at her, and before he could take her food, a Ravenclaw student appears in her seat. Josephine glances at the seat where Raph was and instead sees the same girl from breakfast.
“You..!” "You know this girl?” Cedric asks Josephine, Regina looks too, to see what the commotion near her was about. She immediately recognises the girl eating Raph's food. “Angel? Where did you come from?” Angel just keeps eating Raph’s food until the plate was completely clean before looking at Regina. “I saw that she left early so I let myself dig in.” Angel replies casually, her mouth still full of food she hadn’t completely chewed up yet. Cedric smiled at her before realizing something, “Hold on- her food wasn't finished?” But Angel just ignored him.
Regina scolds her for her bad manners before standing up with a sigh. “Come, Arvinwill. We have to get to potions class early so we can prepare the ingredients. We can talk later, Angel. You too Diggory. Goodbye.” Regina nudges Josephine to stand up and follow her. But Josephine feels her hand being held and slightly pulls her back. It was Cedric. He quickly finishes his food and stands up. “Let me walk with you.”
Josephine feels her heart speed up at the offer, her hand still tightly gripped by Cedric. She hesitated for a bit, looking at Regina, then back at Cedric before shrugging, “Okay…?” He walks closer to her and tugs on her hand before letting go. “Alright, come on then.” Regina looks at the two and awws at them. The three speedwalk their way to the potions classroom and arrived five minutes early. “Who are you girls partnered with?” “Oh, we’re together.” Josephine answers. Cedric raises an eyebrow, smirking, “Sorry?” “She means that she and I are in a group for potions class!" Regina interrupts. “Ohh, I see. Well, I’ve decided to be in a group with that girl over there, Shany Lochen’syre, if I recall correctly? Well then, I’ll be on my way. Good luck to you two!”
They waved goodbye at him and walked to their table, setting the ingredients. The brewing process of the potion itself was quite easy and they were almost done brewing it.
But while Josephine was mixing the ingredients in the cauldron, Reynard and Io's cauldron exploded, the smoke smelled horrible and caused a lot of students to cough, but the smoke from Reynard and Io's failed potion triggered another explosion from Regina and Josephine's cauldron as well as a few other cauldrons, which caught the attention of Professor Snape. “What is the meaning of this ruckus, Mr. Yaxley, Mr. Ashclaw?” The Professor asked, walking to open the classroom door so the smoke doesn't circulate in class and cause more coughing fits for the students before walking towards the two boys covered in ash.
Reynard and Io look at each other before looking at Professor Snape, Reynard scratches the back of his head while Io has his hands rubbing his neck, they both have sheepish smiles on their faces. “We're sorry, Professor..”
“‘Sorry’ won't fix broken cauldrons. Fifty points from Ravenclaw and fifty points from Hufflepuff.” Snape announces. “If I see another explosion, I will assume it is intentional.”
Regina and Josephine look at the Professor, hoping they wouldn't get in trouble too, but Snape tells everyone else to re-do their potions later, Ravenclaw two will continue it the next day and Hufflepuff one will continue it next week. For the next hour, the Hufflepuffs continue to learn from the textbook instead, while the Ravenclaws pack up to leave for Flying class.
Josephine was sprinting towards the flying class field, briefly wondering why the school layout was like this. She made it to the field right on time with Professor Daniel taking attendance. “Who's this?” Someone beside her asked, “Ah, that's a substitute for Madam Hooch, she's helping an injured quidditch player I think.” “Isn't Professor Daniel also the coach for the quidditch extracurricular?” “Oh yeah, he is, isn't he?” Josephine didn't mean to eavesdrop, but at least she got to know who this teacher is.
The flying part is not as easy as she thought. Josephine kept falling off her broom from laughing at Andres and Reynard, who were both attempting to do a backflip on the broom—intentionally and unintentionally. She tried shouting at the broom, “Up!” Which unintentionally made the broom smack into her face, knocking her glasses off. “Dear God, where'd my glasses go?” Josephine yelps, kneeling down, trying to find her glasses. She finds her glasses in the grass, when suddenly a loud explosion sound rings out behind her. Seriously… How many explosions can her class cause in a single day?
Josephine quickly put her glasses on to see what happened. Reynard had managed to go so fast he singed his broom and burned a large part of his rear end and is now laying face first on the dirt, his broom on the other side of the field. Professor Daniel was already rushing to Reynard’s side, assessing the damage.“How many times have I told you to slow down…” Professor Daniel muttered quietly, before he shook his head “You. Quickly help him to the Hospital Wing.” He orders a tall awkward boy standing off to the side.
Josephine watches Andres fall head first to the ground gracefully slowly a few more times before Professor Daniel announces class is over. Free time at last. She walks towards the north courtyard near the astronomy tower. Under one of the trees, Josephine found Raph, Cedric and Sabrina talking together. Raph saw Josephine walking and waved her over, “Josephine, come here, quickly!”
Josephine hurries over to the tree and sits beside Sabrina. They all turn towards her. “So, Miss Arvinwill...” Cedric starts. “We have a question for you” Sabrina continues, then Raph cuts in, “We've been debating for a while and we can't decide who's right!” Josephine looks at the three, “Okay.. what is it?”
“Well, I told Cedric that muggles are living in the future” Raph starts, then looks at the two, “Well I think Raph is stupid— Ow! and she's just glorifying muggles!” Cedric starts before getting hit by Raph. “I think muggles are far behind us because they literally can't do magic!” Sabrina adds. They all argue with each other some more before looking at Josephine.
“You're from the muggle world, which one is true?” “It's mine right? Right?” “No way, say Raph is stupid, Arvinwill!”
Josephine got nervous and panicked, "Uhh… I don't know, I'm actually pretty tired so I'm gonna go, bye.” She stutters out before running off, speedwalking to the Ravenclaw dormitory. Cedric smirks “Hah! She ran off, that means I'm right and Raph is stupid.” He said in a sing-song voice. “That doesn't make any sense!” Raph argues.
Josephine didn’t mean to run off like that, but seeing Cedric made her so nervous. She regrets running off now though, because it's been half an hour and she has been waiting for another Ravenclaw to open the door to the dormitory since she didn’t get the riddle right.
She waited so long until she realised free time was over and she had to rush to the Great Hall for dinner. So much for a nice nap after a long, explosive, incredibly tiring day today.. Josephine thought. She walked to the Great Hall this time, too tired and too hungry to even try sprinting. When she finally got there, Josephine immediately sat beside Raph and Regina who had already started to eat.
“Hey, Seph, odd to see you late for dinner.” Raph teases, but curiosity was heavy in her tone. “I got locked out of my dormitory.” Josephine spat, no real venom in her words, far too fatigued and hungry to be bitter. The two friends of hers laughed at her explanation, “Oh, Arvinwill, did the riddles confuse you? I heard Ravenclaw dormitories do tend to give you quite a headache.” Regina smiles, holding back more laughter from her throat.
Josephine just frowned and grabbed some food for herself. Slowly, the Great Hall begins to fill with students. “It seems like everyone's really hungry today.” Regina comments on the amount of students trying to find a place to sit and eat with their friends. “Anyways, Josephine,” Raph starts, turning her head in Josephine's direction, before avoiding eye contact with anyone. “Did Cedric finish my food? He didn't, right?” Josephine turns to look at Raph, who looks really nervous and anxious.
Why is she so nervous? Josephine questions in her head.
For a second, Raph could almost hear her mother’s voice again,
“Cedric, make sure she finishes everything.” Cedric nodded beside her like it was a sacred mission.
Raph blinked, the memory snapping away as quickly as it came.
But before Josephine could say anything, Regina interrupts. “Actually, Delacroix, my friend Angel has eaten and finished your food. I hope you didn't mind, I scolded her after I saw what happened.”
Raph sighs, a look of shock mixed with relief on her face. She stood up suddenly, “Oh. Good… um, mystery solved then! Yay...!” Before speedwalking out the Great Hall. Regina and Josephine watched her leave in silence. Raph was acting weird. “..At least she finished her food this time?” Josephine stares at Regina, exasperation clear in her face and voice. “That's what you're worried about?” “This is the first time she finished her food, Arvinwill.” “Fair.”
“I’m finished. I think I’ll head back now.” Josephine pushes the half eaten plate aside. “If you see that Angel girl, tell her she can have my food.” She jokes, getting up from her seat. Regina nods and waves at her, “Good luck on your riddles, Arvinwill!” “Ughhh” Josephine groaned as she started to walk out of the Great Hall.
—
The bird on the dormitory entrance spoke, “Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?”
“A circle has no beginning.” A boy with spiky hair and features that let him blend into the background answers calmly. Multiple sighs of relief sound out as the Ravenclaw door opens to let them in.
Everyone rushes inside before the door closes on them again. Some students that were sitting and waiting beside the door immediately rushed inside, whether they stood up to run or they just crawled inside. Whatever it took to sleep in their beds again. This includes Josephine, she finally got to sleep on her bed again. She noticed Maria was already there too, reading a really thick book. She knew some of her roommates' names because one of them, Maria Éloise Huxley, suggested they all take turns to introduce themselves when they first got there.
After entering her dorm, Josephine didn’t bother showering and quickly changed into her sleeping robes before crashing on her bed. Ahh, finally a good night's rest. She thought. The pillows on her bed were rather dusty but she was already too comfortable to move it or undust it. She wonders if other houses have difficult entrance systems like Ravenclaw or not. She decided not to think much about it and start drifting to sleep and dream. She had been peacefully dreaming away for a few hours now when suddenly she heard the dorm door opening slowly. Josephine groans and turns her body to the other side to avoid the loud sound.
She was about to fall back into dreamland when she heard the wooden floor creaking and felt a poke on her arm. Then another. And another. Until she felt the cold dorm air from having the blanket pulled off of her body.
She sits up abruptly and opens her eyes, everything is blurry for her so she reaches towards her nightstand to grab her glasses. “Dude what in-” “Shh.. quiet down, airhead.” “..Rude” Despite her words, Josephine starts whispering. She put her glasses on and squinted her eyes to see who she was talking to. “Raph? How did you even get here?” Josephine asks, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. “Not the point, I have an offer for you, Seph. Really important." She whispers, ducking a bit to avoid being caught by Josephine’s roommates.
“What could be so important that you came all the way up to my dorm in the middle of the night?” Josephine whisper-yells. “Come on, don't tell me you don't want to explore Hogwarts a bit more?” She offers. “We could sneak into the kitchen for midnight snacks” She continues with a sing-songy voice. Josephine looks at her like she grew a second head, but sighs anyway. “You know what, I'll take that offer.” Raph smiles, “Alright, the others are waiting outside for us so..”
“There's more?!” Josephine interrupts, but gets shushed by Raph, “Quit it! Lower your bloody voice! No backing down now, come” She drags Josephine out of her bed, throwing Josephine’s own jacket at her, and out the door. While tiptoeing down the creaky staircase, Josephine finally realises that Raph was wearing a simple black silk night gown with her robe over it. “Are you not freezing?” Josephine says putting her jacket on. “I am actually, I'm just too excited!” Raph exclaims.
They finally push open the Dormitory door, Kesya and Regina were already waiting outside for them. Kesya was wearing thick pajamas with her house scarf for extra warmth and Regina was still wearing the full uniform. "Where's Sabrina?” Raph asks, “She's still asleep, I couldn't wake her up.” Kesya replies, shrugging. “Huh.. I also tried waking Cece up, but he was a deep sleeper, tried to drag me to hell too, what a nightmare.” Raph sighs.
“You snuck into Hufflepuff too?” Josephine asks. “Duh, I wanted the whole gang to get in trouble with me.” “Gang?” “Just a muggle slang my sister taught me.” Kesya stared at Raph with a weird expression. “Huh..” Kesya mutters inaudibly. “Now come on! I promised you all midnight snacks, after we go exploring!”
“Why are we exploring at three in the morning? Can’t this wait until the weekend? We still have classes tomorrow…” Kesya complains, Raph just smiles and starts walking. “If we wait until the weekends, the treasure might disappear!" The rest of them start walking behind Raph. “Treasure?”
Raph grins widely and keeps walking, “Trust me, I found something wicked in that weird empty hallway no one uses.” Regina had a concerned look plastered on her face, “Are you sure we won't be caught by the teachers, Delacroix?” “Mayhaps..” Raph shrugs.
“We're being expelled if caught, huh?”
“You know me too well, Seph.”
