as the season changed from a warm fall to a cold winter I spent my days strumming away or sleeping. I got pretty sick to teh point where i needed a breathing tube.
One day a person I never seen before came in. It wasn’t the doctor either
?: Vinnie Lazlo. You are on trial for harming Mammon. This is mandatory.
Vinnie: Do my dads know?

As I went to the trial room mammon was there In front of me eating Chicken wings

Vinnie: I admit to harming Mammon brutally. But I was trying to defend my boyfriend Fizzaroli. He didn't have the power to defend himself. So I did it for him. But Mammon also abuses his workers. He pays them too little and in the fine print it says
“ I will pay my workers at least 10 dollars an hour and I won't abuse them” so he is also breaking his contract.

? : Vinnie Lazlo you will be put under watch. Do you wish for the ankle monitor or wrist band? If you have the wrist band you may leave the house but we track your location. If we believe you are on the run a shock will occur. you will be put back into the cell you were once in
Vinnie: wrist band.
They got it on me and explained how it worked.
?: you shouldnt do too much exercise with the breathing tube though.
Vinnie: i wont.
They drove me home and the palace was different. It was packed. I had to shove my way through the crowd where my dads were
Vinnie: PAPA!
Papa: vinnie- i thought you were gonna be- are you ok?

Vinnie: I'm fine vel. I just got sick. Im on a partial liquid diet anyways so i cant have the empanadas.
Val: my work can wait, honey, now are you on what they call house watch or? ¿Cómo funciona eso?( translation: like how does that work)
Vinnie: it means i cant have steak or full solid foods.
Vel: you can have salsa though, right?
Vinnie: only if it’s mild. I went without spice for so lone i lost my spice tolerance
Vel: Now what do you want to eat that you can have?
Vinnie: i- just bring, up some oatmeal to my room. I'm gonna be in bed.
I went up to my room and it was dusty. I decided to do a live stream

She set it down as i thanked her

I shoved the oatmeal in my mouth and ate

I shut the stream off and got changed. I was stuck in my human form because of the breathing tube and I looked in the mirror.
A long blue haired girl looked back. That was me.

I took a deep rbeath and put on my long shoes and grabbed the oxygen tank. It was heavy.
Vel: you feeling ok?
Vinnie: I want to be in my real form
Vel: well your safe thats all that matters
Vinnie: do i have to go?
Dad: : yes. Go change. ( he was fixing his tie with sharks on it) It’s a formal meeting this time. Velvette please go help her.
Vinnie: but the breathing tube sucks. I don't want to wear something decent
Papa: You heard your dad. Go change.
Vinnie: Fine.
I took myself and the oxygen tank back upstairs as Velvette got me in a purple dress that showed a decent amount of bust and it was short sleeve and brushed my hair, putting it up in a half up half down bun.
Vinnie: no makeup.
Vel: you look sickly. Just enough to cover up
Vinnie: fine
Vel: Does the watch come off?
Vinnie: no. It's an ankle monitor but it looks more natural than an ankle monitor.
Vel: well you look better. Lets go.
I took my phone and headphones with me incase i got bored.
As i went down to the car Val, dad and papa were waiting for us
Papa: there’s my favorite kid
Vinnie: im your only kid papa. Letss just go.
As we went down to the lust ring i felt my watch buzz. Mammon was close by
Papa: what’s that?
Vinnie: i cant be near Mammon anymore. If i get too close it will shock me. This meeting is boring
Papa: it’s a gala. And you can go fins somewhere quiet. We’ll be around. Don't hesitate to text us if you need one of us

As we got inside the place was really fancy and mammon was there talking with Bee.
Bee: hey it’ss the vees! How are ya feeling
Vinnie: Vox. im… gonna be elsewhere.

Caine: yeah. She is.
Mammon: she’s a total chud thats what. Made me lose half my money.
Vox: well… maybe you deserved it

Bee: hey ozzie, how’s life?
Ozzie was in a wheelchair and was looking better
Ozzie: not too bad. How’s vinnie doing? Did she come?
Vox: she went elsewhere. She has a breathing tube now though. Poor girl
Charlie: hey.. Vox.. how is um.. things?
Caine: hey charlie, How’s the hotel?
Charlie: booming pretty well.
Val: if he shows up don't go bat sh*t on him
Vox: it was one time
Charlie: don't worry, Alastor didn't come. He had to take care of other things. But how’s vinnie doing? I heard she got put in the gaslight district for a while.
Vox: she- what’s that
Charlie: where the most ruthless criminals go.
Vox: i didnt think she got put there.
Charlie: but she seems to be doing well.
Vox: i’ll- be back

As i went upstairs in hopes of finding her she was in the weight room alone sitting in teh dark. I opened the door and asked if she was ok
Vinnie: dad?
Vox: it’s me
Vinnie: i don't want to be here anymore. It’s too much. Mammon will just bring up what i did and he- i don't have a MOM! I- what is a mom supposed to be like?
Vox: i don't know. Is this what got you so sad?
Vinnie: yeah.
Vox: what about velvette?
Vinnie: she’s an aunt.
Vox: bee wanted to say hello. Hey bee, she’s
Vinnie: I DON'T NEED YOU!
Bee: vinnie..hey.
Vinnie: i don't need you!
Tears ran down her face as her hand went closer and closer to the breathing tube. She was getting ready to rip it our
Bee: don't pull that out.
Vinnie: I DON'T NEED THIS AND I DON'T NEED YOU!
She pulled it out and started gasping for air.
I called the emergency number as bee did CPR truing to keep her alive.
Vox: yeah.. You have my location? Ok. She ripped out her breathing tube. Only in heaven? Im a sinner, i cant be.. Ok thank you. I’ll send for him
As the paramedics came she was put on oxygen and rushed to heaven to get stable. I couldn't go past the gates with her. She was all alone, probably scared. But how was I supposed to be both a mom and a dad to her?
Val: What happened?
Vox: she ripped out her breathing tube.
Vel: i didnt think we could get in.
Vox: we cant go past the gates. We arnt able to be redeemed. She’s a hellborn. THats different.
Caine: but baxter is with her!
Charlie: that’s because he’s been working really hard. He’s under the 75% mark to geet in but he’s at 70% redeemable. This might do it for him.
Vox: can you go in and check on her?
Charlie: im not family.
Vox: at least sit with her outside her room.
Charlie: fizzaroli is with her. So is Bee.
Vox: do you have his number?
Vel: i have her phone. Fizz says she's alive but.. Just barely. She did a number on herself. She’s in a coma too. Bee feels partially responsible for her ripping the tube out
Vinnie pov
Jax: so how long are ya gonna be in here?
We were in the pillow fort with the door open.
Vinnie: i don't know! I ripped my breathing tube out. I don't have a real mom
Queenie: come here.
Queenie held me close as I cried and sobbed needing air.
Queenie: I can't be your mom the whole time but I can try for what it’s worth.
Vinnie: but your not biologically my mom! I don't have a real mom
Queenie: you don't need a biological mother. We’re a found family
Vinnie: When I'm human I bleed red but when I'm not I have no heart. I'm just oil and code!
Queenie: but you do have a heart. You cry and feel just like us. You are family to us.
Vinnie: but what am i to myself?
The place was quiet as pomni came up and had food for me
Pomni: here’s some food.
Vinnie: not hungry
Pomni: i’ll leave it here.
I scooted from queenie and ate some of the food as i sat in silence. I was more hungry than I thought.
I was in the circcuss for long enough for me to made some small adventures. Most of them were treasure hunts or picnics but it was all i could do. Kinger helped me quite a bit with an open world type thing. It was glitchy and the cars made sound but didnt go anywhere. The stop lights were blue red and pink and the stop signs were orange, trees were solid bricks and the shops had many collision issues.
Jax: hey vinnie, how’s the open world coming along?
Vinnie: i cant do it!!
Ribbit: take a break
Vinnie: but it’s not done.
Ribbit: i said go take a break. We all worked on this for you. So we’re gonna do it.
Vinnie: what?
Ribbit: close your eyes kiddo
Vinnie: do i have to?
Ribbit: just do it
I closed my eyes and felt my clothes being taken off of me.
Vinnie: WHAT ARE YOU
Zooble: shhhhshshssshhhh. Be quiet. Just let yourself relax.
Paws were now on my back. They were too big to be a cat’s paws so it must be jax
All the knots in my back popped and snapped as i felt myself loosing up.
The room was warm and jax’s paws felt good.
Next thing i knew i was in a bright room with beeping machines
