The grass felt nice under the moth boy’s feet with a shiny purple letter in toe. As he padded through the forest, where his mentor requested him to meet. “Why is it so far away..” he groaned.
A pit of nervousness swelled in his gut- or where it would be if he was a human. This was his first time meeting them properly. Were they sweet? Or like the bull and mean. Lunar shivered at the idea of having to train with two taurus
“Is this the right way?.. I mean I could try to teleport but.. After the last time that's a no.” he let out a nervous chuckle as a shudder racked the moth’s body. Last time he attempted to teleport he ended up in China malfunctioning. And the jackass called Castor left him there for a DAY! To “learn their lesson” what a jerk.
He's heard of them from castor and taurus. What was it they said.. She works with dreams? Something like that. She's his mentor for “magic?” instead of fighting like a taurus because “his physical strength isn't as nearly as strong as his magic.” Whatever that means.
“Thinking about it, Taurus really reminded him of harvest- I mean the obvious slimlair is the voice both being deep.. But both like fighting for different reasons though. One for fun and protection and the other as work. Not to mention their bluntness.” Lunar snickered to himself as he rounded a corner to see a small cabin, it had some broken windows and wood falling
“Uhh.. hey?" he finally said, fidgeting with the hem of his sleeve. “Well howdy there!” the ram human thingy spoke.. Why is she southern? Lunar looks up, “why are southern..???” his words spill out of his mouth
‘DAMNIT! Not even a day in and I've already made a bad first impression!” he thought, scolding himself. “Well.. mhm. Good question!” she paused, thinking. Then continued, “I don't know..! Well anywho im aries! You uh mentor thing!” Aries exclaimed with a charming smile. "Welp um hi there, I'm lunar.” he offered his hand to shake.
A long pause led to an uncomfortable silence
“Hey hey- i have the best thing to show you, boss lady.” Aries only replied with a gentle nod of her head. Lunar took a few steps back, which peaked the curiosity of the ram nearby. With that, Lunar pushes itself off the ground into a rolling motion mid air. They landed with a thud and a proud grin
“Oh, so you are flexible?” Aries asked curiously. “”Eh.. Flexible enough.” Lunar shrugged. As Aries talked it slowly muffled as they looked up at the rocky mountains that surrounded them. “It.. so pretty?” lunar thought to himself
