Chapter Text
It’s not surprising to him that he fell for someone like Park Jisung. He’s always admired Jisung even when he was young. He loved the way he danced, the way he spoke, and so much more. Honestly, he didn’t even think he could pull a guy as beautiful as Jisung. Not because he isn’t attractive or anything but because he always seemed so unreachable. Now it’s completely different and he's in the same group as him. He feels closer to him than ever now.
Yeah sure even though he’s now his boyfriend he still feels a bit shy around him in public. In his defense, who wouldn’t? They only started dating very recently so it's only natural he would still feel a bit shy with him around others. Being able to be in the same practice room with Jisung was a blessing and a curse. On one hand, he gets to be with his boyfriend, whom he loves so much but at the same time, they are around staff, the dance teachers, and the other members. On top of it all they are constantly dancing so there isn’t a lot of time to talk with him. (If they even get a chance too.)
But being able to see him the whole day is enough to make him happy. He doesn’t know how many times he’s just zoned out and stared at Jisung today. He can’t help himself when his boyfriend is so handsome when he's focused and dancing. The dance instructor's voice snapped him out of his staring session. Walking back to his starting position he thinks “I’m so distracted by him I really need to focus. I am the leader after all. Imagine what my members would think? Seeing their leader be this distracted because of another man…” Apparently, he’s so distracted that he didn’t see Jisung and bumped into him.
“Sorry, Jisung! I didn’t see you” Sion says while stepping back more. “It's okay, I'm more worried about you. I saw you were thinking about something. Is everything alright?” Jisung said in a worried tone. Sion felt his heart race a bit. It really shouldn’t have that much of an effect on him but the idea of Jisung paying attention to him made him sort of shy. “I’m alright Ji. You don’t have to worry. Let’s finish learning the choreography then I'll tell you okay?” Sion reassured his boyfriend. Jisung nodded and they resumed the dance practice.

Sakuya had been begging him to go with Ryo to this bakery for a while now. They finally found a spot in their schedules to go. The bakery smelled amazing. From the moment he saw the display case, he knew he needed to buy the cookie. After all 3 of them got their food they were looking around for a place to sit. Sion found an empty table so he turned around when all of a sudden he hears someone call his name. He turned around and sees Chenle, Renjun, and his boyfriend sitting down. Sion freezes on the spot seeing Jisung. “He looks so handsome and pretty. I really should have picked out better clothes.” Sion thought to himself as he was obviously staring at Jisung.
He didn’t get time to react when all of a sudden the boy beside him walked over to sit next to Chenle. He looks really happy to meet him here. With no choice, he walks with Sakuya over to the group. He sees two empty chairs, one beside Renjun and one beside Jisung. Sion was secretly hoping that Sakuya would choose the seat beside Renjun. His prayers were answered when Sakuya sat on the seat beside Renjun. The only other seat left was next to Jisung. Not like he was complaining anyway he was actually happy he could be with his boyfriend again.
They were talking about a lot of things but then the topic of video games came up and he saw his boyfriend bring up a game he’s been playing recently. Sion was beside him so he could see how beautiful his side profile looked from here. His sharp features made him look like a prince but at the same time, he had this cuteness factor to his face that made Sion so obsessed with him. His voice when he speaks is so gentle and deep that he could listen to Jisung talk for hours. Years even. Honestly, he was everything to Sion.
He was paying so much attention to the man beside him that he forgot that he was supposed to eat the cookie he picked up from his plate. Sion stayed holding the cookie without taking a single bite until someone else started speaking. He really needs to snap out of it. Especially when they are with their friends as well. Someone probably caught him staring but he can deal with that later. He wants to focus on his boyfriend for now.
When they were inside the taxi Sion pulled out his phone and texted his boyfriend.

Sion got so flustered seeing the last message. He has to be grateful that he’s sitting in the passenger seat. He can’t have Sakuya and Ryo finding out that the reason he’s been acting oddly is because he has a boyfriend. He’s not ready to tell them that he’s been dating Park Jisung. He types in his reply to send to Jisung.

It was late in the night and Sion was making cup noodles as requested by Sakuya. The rest of the members were in their own rooms. "Hyung, can I ask you something?" Sakuya asks. “Of course you can. What is it?” Sion was pouring the hot water into the cup of noodles. "Do you have a crush on Jisung hyung?” Sakuya asks him from behind.
Sion stopped everything he was doing. “Was I being too obvious?” Sion thought to himself. He wasn’t ready to tell Sakuya at all. His thoughts were racing to think of an excuse to say. In a panic, he turns around and says "Oh, I don't like Jisung like that, you know? Where did you even get that idea?” Sion hopes he sounded calm.
"Uhm it just seems like you stare at him a lot so I just thought that maybe you felt something for him..." Sakuya replied to him while he received the cup noodles. "We have nothing going on. Don't worry too much, okay?” Sion answered Sakuya’s question as composed as he could be. “Okay, hyung” Sakuya said, picking his fork up to eat. He’s thankful that Sakuya didn’t push for more.

Nct Dream and Nct Wish were taking turns recording for some dance challenges. He pulled Jisung away from the group and staff so he could at least have some space with his boyfriend. “Things have been tough lately with our comebacks and schedules. I'm really glad that our schedules were able to overlap this time.” Sion says, smiling and looking up slightly at Jisung. “Me too so at least I can talk with you like this. We never really get a chance to. Probably a few texts here and there and calls once a week if we get lucky.” Jisung said with a bit of a sad tone.
Their conversation got interrupted when a staff member called out Sion’s name so he could record something. “I practiced really hard for this. Watch me, okay?” Sion waved at Jisung before he winked at him. He decided he could be braver and maybe subtly flirt with him here. After all, he still wants to be able to do couple-like things with him even if it's rare.
While he was dancing and recording, his eyes met Jisung’s. His boyfriend smiled at him. Sion felt his heart pick up and his face feel warm. He broke eye contact with him almost immediately. Sion really needed to be careful or else he might mess up on the spot.

Sion wakes up to his phone alarm. He gets up to unplug his phone. After he unplugged his phone he turned to look down again. He swears there were two chargers in the socket instead of one but he’s too tired to think right now. It was in the evening at 5pm and he actually just wanted to laze around in bed while scrolling on his phone but what made him smile and motivated was seeing Jisung’s messages to him.

Those messages gave him the energy to get up from his bed to eat so he could play and call Jisung faster. Between Jisung and lazing around he would obviously choose the latter. Sion eats as fast as he can and clears his plate in 15 minutes. He really was desperate to play with his boyfriend again. He goes back into his room and gets ready to call with his boyfriend.

It’s a Saturday and all his members except him are gone somewhere doing their own things. Well actually, Sakuya invited him to eat lunch with Ryo but he declined. He said it was because he just wanted to stay at home. It was a weak reason but it worked and Sakuya left with Ryo to eat lunch. The real reason is that he invited his boyfriend to his dorm.
He heard a knock and when he opened the door he saw his boyfriend in the jacket he always wears and black pants. Even so, he still looked pretty. His proportions were no joke; he really looks like a model. “Come in” Sion said, smiling and stepping out of the way.
Jisung put his shoes beside the door and Sion was walking towards the sofa where the PS4 was. He stopped in his tracks when he felt his boyfriend hug him from behind. Sion laughs a bit to himself. “You're so cute Ji” Sion says, teasing Jisung a bit. Jisung rested his head on Sion’s shoulder. “Let’s play together” Jisung replied while looking up a bit. “Of course, that was the plan right?” Sion played with his hair a bit. They connected the controllers and started playing.
After 30 minutes of playing they both got hungry. “We don’t have a lot of food here. Is it alright if we just eat some leftovers?” Sion offered. “That’s okay with me as long as I get to eat.” Jisung replied while walking to help Sion prepare plates, forks, and spoons. Sion distributed the leftovers for both of them and gave Jisung a glass cup of water. They both sat down facing each other to eat together. "I’ll take you out to a proper meal in the future okay?” Sion said while taking a bite of the food. “I’ll look forward to that” Jisung smiled at Sion.
They had finished eating and were putting the dishes in the sink when Sion mentioned that Jisung should try out the game on his computer. Jisung obviously says yes. So right now they are in Sion’s room and Jisung is figuring the game out. Sion is guilty of choosing a game that has mechanics Jisung always struggled with.
He saw that his boyfriend had some issues with clearing a stage. Sion went behind his boyfriend and he put his hands on Jisung’s. “I’ll help you okay?” Sion said behind Jisung. He guided his boyfriend’s fingers and hands so the stage would be cleared. This was his real reason for picking this game. He just wanted to hold his boyfriend like this and Sion knows how easily shy Jisung gets.
He can feel Jisung tense up under him. He can also feel how much more sweaty his hands have gotten. He knew that if he looked down he would see Jisung’s face a bit red too. He was tempted to look down but he had other plans to finish.
They both see the text “Stage Clear” in big and bold letters on the screen. “Thank you…” Jisung said while stuttering a bit. “Then I should get a reward for helping you right?” Sion said while turning the chair Jisung was sitting on to face him. “What reward do you want?” Jisung asked, looking up to Sion. Jisung’s hand climbed up Sion’s arm. Sion smiled at Jisung before he leaned in closer. Jisung got the signal and took his hands to hold Sion’s neck to pull him in.
Feeling Jisung’s lips on his felt amazing. His lips were a little chapped but he couldn’t care right now. Sion gets pulled into Jisung’s lap to get closer. Their lips moved against each other and their heads tilted to get even closer. They kept going for what felt like hours. They pulled away to catch their breath.
“I love you” Sion whispered to his boyfriend. “I love you too” Jisung replied to him with a smile on his face.
