Chapter Text
U.A High school is the most simple, normal school in the whole of Japan, teaching exactly average students, specialised in studying humans, their bodies, their relationship s, and such (isn’t that called physiology?) so there’s no reason to imagine a hyper-intelligent alien is studying there, right?
Well!
That’s one reason why [REDACTED] chose it!!
[RECATED], or—his human name—Izuku Midoriya, is from a far, far away galaxy, a planet called Kaoukab, he was sent down here to earth to help save it from the horrible tragedy that could end it!
But then by the three-month ET (Earth-Count) that took him to reach the earth, the problem was… already solved.
Great! Less work, more tourism!
Unfortunately, tourism doesn’t go far, the fees for sending another spaceship to bring him back is astronomical, not to mention all work that’ll be required to hide it and bring him back home without notice. So the universe company he works for back in Kaoukab just… told him to study humans on an almost lifelong mission.
Great.
So! Now he’s carrying his boxes inside the Dorms.
As he said before, U.A is a simple school, they don’t even have the budget to get a room per person, so now he has to share with another human!
Opening the door, Izuku found himself alone in the room.
It’s a simple room, there was a window on the wall straight ahead him and a glass door leading to a balcony, one bed on each side of the room. The bathroom door is directly on the right of the entrance, and upon entering, he found a simple stand shower, toilet and sink.
With a sigh he started unpacking.
****
There’s a human in the room! How exciting!
[REDACTED] adopted the name Ochaco Uraraka when she first came down to earth three months ago, and she totally thinks the name Ochaco is galaxies above her real one.
She misses Zumur’rudaħ, her home planet, but spending her teenage years down here on earth is truly a remarkable accomplishment!
Back home, a huge election was held for who gets the chance to travel to far lands, studying foreign creatures and exploring new environments—possibly even leading a peace agreement to ensure protection of Zumur’rudaħ before the foreign creatures figure out their existence of the and attack them.
And Uraraka was chosen! She loved space and learning about new places—and this pays well for her and her parents, so it’s a win-win.
Back on track, Uraraka walked in the dorm room and found a guy with green hair—probably dyed—unpacking his stuff. He already picked the right bed.
Uraraka extended her hand, “Hello! I’m [REDACTED]—sorry, I mean, uh, I’m Ochaco Uraraka. I-uh, just changed my name and it takes a while to get used to…”
Dang it! One second in and she immediately blew her cover!
“Hello, Uraraka, I’m Izuku Midoriya.”
For a few seconds, he stared at her palm, and tilted his head as if in confusion, before he yelped and took her hand, shaking it.
“Sorry!” He exclaimed, “I always forget people do that.”
Makes sense, she does too!
“No need to apologise! I forget too!”
Midoriya nodded solemnly.

The two roommates didn’t really speak much after their first interaction, they both just quietly finished setting up their part of the room, before realising it got late (for humans, at least. Izuku doesn’t need sleep.) and decided it would be a good time to go to sleep.
And after long hours of laying down on the bed, scrolling through his phone, Izuku finally saw the sun rise and decided it seemed like a good time to “wake up”. It shouldn’t seem suspicious to any human that he was up.
Staring at the city in the horizon, Izuku walked to the balcony of his dorm room.
The sun is rising, far away, and Izuku waited to recharge.
It won’t be like charging with the star that Kaoukaab gravitated around, but he’s heard that sun is hotter! Although, the atmosphere could hinder the process…
Well, this is a good experiment!
But what is he going to do if this fails? He could try eating, that’s how humans recharge.
“Good morning, Midoriya!”
Izuku watched the sun fully rise, the rays shining on him. He felt… okay.
“Why’re you up so early, Midoriya?”
Well, this isn’t at all like recharging back home, it’s a little faster, but it feels shallow? Like it’s going to run out faster than usual.
“Midoriya?”
Izuku sighed, knowing that now he’s gotta take those stupid energy pills. They taste awful!
“Midoriya!”
Izuku jumped when Uraraka touched his shoulder, and she promptly jumped back.
“I’m so sorry! I know you people don’t like being touched! It’s just, uhm, you were staring off to space, I called you and you didn’t look.”
Izuku frowned, “I didn’t hear you calling?”
“I called you three times!”
But he’s sure she didn’t! He didn’t hear her calling his name—
Oohh! The codename!
“Oh, sorry, I didn’t hear you,” he said, and turned back to look straight at the sun (people who say it hurts to look at were being dramatic), “thanks for bringing me down to earth.”
Uraraka joined him at staring directly at the sun—see! He told you humans were dramatic about looking at the sun!—and leaned on the rails.
And then she said quietly, “It’s nice to see this.”
Izuku looked at her, she had this amazed expression on her face.
Must be a sunrise lover.
“Yeah, it is.”

Their teacher called them downstairs into the living room a while before sunset, and stared at them in complete silence until everyone stood straight and shut up.
“Welcome to U.A high, and all that nonsense,” he said, “My name is, Aizawa Shouta, and I will be your homeroom teacher. class starts tomorrow morning at seven A.M, be late more than seven minutes you will be written up. Be outside the building after eleven in the night, you will be written up.”
His eyes looked them over, then said: “that is all.”
He then walked out.
Huh, that strangely reminded Izuku of his own trainer back in Kaoukab.
Around him, people started commenting about how strange Aizawa was—how dismissive, uncaring and unkind he seemed, and Izuku felt a little stressed.
Everyone thought Aizawa was a weirdo! He’s blowing his cover like this!!
He turned to the girl next to him—Ochaco Uraraka—and said: “yo, Ochaco, wasn’t Aizawa tots strange?”
“You got that right, Izu’!”
Dang it! Nicknames, he forgot humans do those!!
“Uh.. so… Ochaco, how-how are you..?” The sentence morphed into an awkward question, and it was clear as day that he sucked at what humanity calls Small Talks.
“Umm. Good. Good! How are you.. adjusting to the dorm?” She replied after a second.
“Good, actually!” He said, “it is fascinating to see people in their natural habitat!”
For a moment he had half a braincell to realise that this sounds so weird, but he didn’t form the entire thought before Ochaco’s reply came.
“Right! People are super cool!
And with how loud the room was with the commotion only fifteen year olds could make, nobody realised two Very Normal Humans were talking about Very Normal Human stuff.
And the two Totally Humans failed to realise how Totally Unhuman the other was.
