“Keep in mind how this could affect us, immortal cataclysm.” Blue flame hierophant spoke with a slight edge.
“Uh huh.. sure I will. Whats stopping me from just finding her, tying her up and making her whole body burst into flames?” Immortal cataclysm knew that his mere presence was enough to make her tense up.
“Killing her will have a negative effect on us. The most we can do is try to compromise with her.” He reasoned.
“Ugh, you’re no fun… why are the others so scared of her anyway? She could barely stand her ground against me back then.”
“You weren’t there for the bloodshed we had witnessed, were you?” Blue flame hierophant sighed.
“What are you even talking about?” He tilted his head to the side.
“She sliced lord of flame’s head clean off. It took him months to regenerate it. She also had cut up my wings and did a great amount of damage to them.”
“GUYS LOOK WHAT I CAN DO” wings of fire shouted.
“WHERES YOUR HEAD?”
“I guess you could say.. heh… my head just couldn’t hang on..” he said with the most satisfied expression on his face as if he just solved world hunger.
“Get out.”

“Come onnnn are you really not talking to me??” Fire spirit pouted.
“…”
“Do you just want me to share my most heart wrenching stories with you? Fine, so be it.” He said dramatically. Wind archer gave him a slight interested glance then went back to reading his book.
Stormbringer stood not-so subtly behind a tree recording them. “Today on this episode of ‘This might be illegal, but at least Im not destroying the environment’ wind archer seems to be ignoring fire spirit!” She watched what they were doing closely and made more commentary, narrating what they were doing and adding some (backhanded) notes to it.
Fire spirit and wind archer obviously saw her, but figured she wouldn’t do anything with the video.
“Ok so what heart wrenching stories do I have… OH!!! How about the time I accidentally got one of my close friends killed! Wait no I think it was two- before you call the cops on me the first one wasnt my fault.”
“..what.”
“Ok so, my friend, blue slushy, followed me along on a trip to see a few of my relatives even though i had told her multiple times that it was dangerous. I mean, most of the trip went surprisingly well until her car suddenly spun off a mountain without any warning. It’s a possibility shes still alive since her body was never found, but I highly doubt it because of how high up she was. I mean that was also just setting the scene of what happened to her, I’m pretty sure my uncle tampered with the car beforehand, though. My uncle as in longan dragon, not ananas.”
“What in the family backstory is this?” Stormbringer asked as she stopped doodling.. something.
“I dunno, anyway, my friend pepperccino wanted to venture out to the dragon’s valley, which I sort of encouraged..? Anyway, long story short he got pushed into lava and died, i dont know who pushed him, though.” He stopped to think for a moment. “Oh also my brother, Habenero. Hes still stuck with my actual parents, although they did treat him better than me so he should be fine.. I hope.”
“What do you mean by that?” Wind archer questioned.
“..don’t worry about it.”
“Hey Fire spirit, can we talk? I’ve got a question I’ve been meaning to ask you.” Moonlight spoke.
“Huh? Sure why not.”

“Sooooooooo..”
“What’s up with Stormbringer?” Moonlight questioned.
“Straight to the point I see. Although, what do you mean by that?” Fire spirit asked, surprisingly genuine for once.
“Apologies if I’m crossing a line, but why is she the only one that you kept around out of all of us?” She paused, keeping her voice in a hushed tone. “I understand that you two have known each other since 1st grade, but still, why?”
“I’m not too sure myself, honestly.”
“Oh please, stop with the lies. I know if there was anyone you wouldve kept around that knew your identity then it would’ve been windy.” Moonlight rolled her eyes.
“Well, I would tell you, but-“ he felt like he lost control of his body, “we wouldn’t want anyone eavesdropping, would we?” He said with a strange, manic grin, then shook his head, “Im just kidding~” He waved it off.
Okay.. strange.
“Find me at lunch and I’ll tell you. Now if ya dont mind ive got stuff to do, windies to mess with.” He let out a yawn.
“Alright, I’ll see you in a bit, then.”

The classes passed without much action. Fire spirit had made sure to talk to Stormbringer about that, though. Stormbringer had always found it weird when he got serious all of the sudden, it honestly creeped her out quite a bit since it differed drastically from the personality she was used to. She impatiently tapped her pencil on the desk, waiting for the class to end. So she could step out and feel the rain from the storm brewing outside. Unfortunately, she had started to get cold and wasnt looking to risk getting sick.
She noticed moonlight and fire spirit talking under an umbrella moonlight was holding. She made sure to note how stupid fire spirit looked with his hair wet. She got closer, sneaking up on them to try and listen in on what they were saying.
“Stormbringer’s parents were barely ever around, so she only really had herself to rely on and..” he made a weird gesture. “I was really the only one she had back then. She also knew about my home life, but that’s besides the point. It was mostly because of her acting like a younger sibling to me.”
“IM THE YOUNGER SIBLING? WOWWW” stormbringer yelled.
“SHUT UP.”
“NO YOURE YOUNGER THAN ME”
“DIE”
Moonlight just stared on in amusement, watching them bicker back and forth.
