A fresh morning in the month of September, the sun shines bright and clouds hug the sky. The school's entrance and gates are lively with conversations, laughter, and greetings from every student inside. Yokune Ruko, a tall and pretty friendly student, walks toward the school entrance with his usual cup of coffee, sipping it from time to time as he reaches the school's doors. Once inside, He looks around towards the corner of the hall where he and his best friend, Kasane Teto, would always hang out before their morning classes started. But now... It's just empty. No cheerful, red twin drill-haired girl to greet him as they'd always do. Now she was friends with some idol who joined the school at the start of August.
He looked at the empty spot, a little disappointed, and decided to just head straight towards his classroom. He sat down at his desk, putting his bag and coffee down as well. Looking outside his window, all bored with his chin resting on his hand (yes he is sitting in those main character's desk). on Teto's side of the story, she was chitter-chattering with the famous idol, Hatsune Miku! Both exchanged words, laughs, and overall having a good time until the bell rang, marking the start of the morning classes. Both Miku and Teto proceeded to walk together to their classroom.

The morning classes pass by as the lunch bell rings. Ruko snaps mid daydream as he notices the bell ringing. He gets up and heads out of the classroom to go to the school's cafeterias since he didn't bring any homemade lunch today. Once arrived he gets in line, grabs a tray with the lunch, and walks over to find an empty table, or perhaps... Teto? he successfully found her sitting on a table already and approaches it. Once getting closer, he notices Miku sitting at the same table as Teto. He decides whether or not to sit down with them, but walks over because Teto is HIS best friend, and Ruko wants to be with her at least, since he didn't find her this morning.
"Hey drills!" Ruko says, sitting down next to Teto and waving at her.
Teto backs away the piece of food she was gonna stuff in her mouth as she hears Ruko.
"Ah! Hiii Ruko!" She waves back happily.
Miku notices Ruko and waves him a polite hello. Ruko gives her a small nod in return.
"I see you're already eating, how's the food today?"
"The meat is a bit bland, but the rice is pretty good"
Ruko bites into the piece of his lunch with their fork and nods, agreeing to what she said.
[T] "And I said it was assignment #5, not #6."
[M] "Although the last part of the assignment #6 was pretty hard."
[T] "Yeah..."
[R] "Oh! i can lend yo-."
[T] "Hey, we can ask [classmate] for help!"
[M] "Ah, yes! They're really good on the topic. I bet they will surely help us out."
Ruko stops talking as Teto cuts him off mid-sentence, almost as if it were on purpose. He brushes it off, so he doesn't overthink about it and just listens to their conversation quietly as he eats. Although he couldn't push the thought away... He watched as both Teto and Miku talked so easily, as if they were friends for more than 2 years, and honestly, it made him kinda jealous. He has been Teto's friend since the 5th grade! How could he not?! But anyways... The three finish eating, and they walk together to the trash to properly dispose of their lunch trays. Once they walk out of the school cafeteria, Teto grabs Miku's hand.
"We're gonna head on to our classroom, don't mind us!" Teto proceeds to leave alongside Miku to their planned area
"Oh, ok-..." Ruko stands there. Seeing as they leave him without a second thought.
No invitation nor nothin'. this dynamic has been going on for about 3 weeks now and it has been starting to get on Ruko's nerves, Teto just ignores him or cuts him off everytime they talk... even worse if she's near Miku. even they're nights where they talk together through text are slowly but surely becoming less and less, and it doesn't surprise him if shes been talking to someone else. Is Teto really just deliberately trying to get further from Ruko just to go with some idol???? Ruko walks the other way to reach the upstairs. He walks up the stairs with his hands in his pockets and a rather gloomy expression, although it is faint. He enters the Music club classroom and notices no one inside, perfect opportunity to play his dear electric guitar yayy. Ruko spends the whole lunch period playing riffs and melodies with his guitar.
