Chapter Text
Hello everyone and welcome to the second chapter of our new story, ‘Danmachi: Is it Wrong to have a Chaos Gacha in the Dungeon?’. With me again is my friend and co-writer, Darklord333.
Dark: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Oh what NOW!? (Turns to see what’s wrong with Dark this time)
Dark: (In front of him was a familiar family tree that's from School days which dates back to previous games)
Light: … Do I dare ask what you found out…?
Dark: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH! (Too much in panic to reply)
Light: (Annoyed, opens a portal over him, and drenching him in water before closing it, cutting the water off) … You cooled off?
Dark: Yes I am. Thanks. I think I’m not gonna play any dating sim games.
I’m… not going to ask… Anyways, shall I bring in today’s guest?
Dark: Sure.
Thank you. Now please welcome, Bell Cranel.
Bell: (Walks in) “H-Hi. Thank you for having me.”
Welcome Bell. It is nice of you to join us.
Dark: So glad of you to join us.
Bell: (Smiles sheepishly) “T-Thank you.”
No problem. So, are you ready for more crazy?
Bell: “... Honestly… I’m not sure.”
Dark: Better be prepared for what comes next.
He’s right.
Bell: (Looking nervous.) “C-Can I get the Disclaimer now, please?”
Go right ahead.
Bell: “Thank you. Light/Xara and Dark do not own any of the franchises or characters in this story. Just their own ideas and changes to the story. How is this?”
Looks good to me.
Dark: Same here, now then, ONTO THE CHAPTER!

Chapter 2: Bonds Make us Stronger! I’ll Prove It!
(Hestia Familia Home)
Bell made it back to the rundown Church, Aegislash floating off his back and Dusknoir coming out of Bell’s Shadow. He had a feeling Ghost types could do this, he didn’t know how, but he did. It became easier for Dusknoir to do so with his Spirit Affinity skill. It also gave him another ability that was useful.
“I am so thankful you didn’t tell them about me, Master,” Aegislash mentally spoke/thanked his master. His voice is like a general of an army.
It turned out it gave him telepathy to his Pokemon, since they were ghost type, and essentially Spirits.
“It’s no problem,” Bell said. “I didn’t want to try and explain your existence to Hephaetus. It was already hard with Praeteian and her ability to understand him.”
“Just make sure to keep your wits about you, Master,” Dusknoir said, their voice sounding like a wise elder. “You don’t know which deities might just take you, rules be damn.”
“It's alright Dusknoir.” Bell assured the Pokemon. “As long as I can keep the Chaos Gacha a secret, no one will know.”
“That secret cannot be hidden for long. Sooner or later it will be bound to be revealed. Even Gods will likely know.”
Dusknoir was right, with all the skills he’s accumulating and gaining, plus traits, abilities, items and familiars. It's not like Bell wants to keep it a secret but he knows that if he keeps hiding it, the more people will likely know his skills, that is more than one.
“My recommendation Master, use one skill as your main one. Then later on people will be less suspicious of you so long you don’t expose yourself.”
“And what skill should I use?” he asked. “I have a lot.”
“Pick which one you want to use. It's your decision.”
Bell let out a sigh. Guess his Pokemon wanted him to start thinking like a leader. He then went through a mental list of his Skills, Adept Leadership making it easier. He would make that a skill he might use, but it wouldn’t draw attention away, Paisley Park was out, being a Familiar and Skill, and he didn’t need gods going after him for mapping… he wanted to fight, not be on the sidelines thank you very much! He then realized what he could do. “My Weapon Mastery Skill! I could just say I have a knack for picking up anything I consider a weapon! And they do say the body can be the most dangerous weapon there is if you train it hard enough.”
“I’d have thought you’d go with your Lightning Magic you have.”
“Well, Magic is amazing, and I’ve always wanted it, but it’s another tool, another weapon, so I’m just going off my fighting skills and just saying that I’m good with weapons,” Bell said. “... Does that sound weird?”
“I think it makes sense,” Aegislash said. “I was your first familiar, a literal Sword posing Ghost.”
“I honestly thought you were a sword not a ghost.” Bell said to Aegislash. “If that makes you feel better.”
“Alright Master, now that you’ve decided your skills and magic, do you plan on heading into the Dungeon?” Dusknoir asked his master, likely knowing he would head into the dungeon.
“I think so, I might not have Praeteian, but I do need to train and get stronger. We might have made good headway in our finances, but we can’t get too cosy just yet. I still need to earn more if we’re going to rebuild this place into a proper Familia home.”
“True. You should also try and meet with that Doctor god Hestia knows soon as well. You do have that potion, stamina drink, as well as your cleaning supplies to help them out.”
“I’ll wait until Hestia introduces me to them. I’ll help them out as well. Heck, if they can find a way to mass produce those as well, that’ll help Ororio as well.” Bell said while giving out a thought.
“Before you head out.” Dusknoir suddenly interjected. “May I perhaps suggest getting a face mask Master?”
“What? What do you mean?”
“If you wear the mask, you would be less likely to be recognizable. It would lead them looking further and discovering your identity. Wearing a mask makes those chances getting recognized lessens and they won’t know who you are.” Dusknoir suggested to Bell.
“I guess that’s true,” Bell said, taking that into consideration. “But I should be careful as well, knowing my luck, I might run into someone due to my skills.”
“All we can do is hope that doesn’t happen,” Dusknoir said, going into Bell’s shadow again.
______________________________________________________________________________
(Orario Marketplace)
Bell walked through the market place. There were lots of items, foods, potions and whatever they displayed across the market. Bell was interested in a few of them but he’s not the type to spend recklessly. Taking time to look through the market for any face mask he could buy. It didn’t need to be fancy or anything, not right now. He just needed something to cover his face. And he didn’t want to try his luck with the Gacha right now.
Just as he was about to think again, he saw a mask shop, something he’s been looking for. Heading towards it, he found a plain white mask that looked like it would do nicely. Heck, he might be able to customize it himself later on. .. If it didn’t break in the dungoen.
“Hello.” Bell greeted the shop owner, “I’d like to purchase this mask please?”
“Ah, that's an interesting mask young man.” The shop owner said to Bell. “May I take a guess you want to keep your face hidden from exposure?”
“How did you know?”
“It's not that common for adventurers to buy masks and keep their identity a secret due to some cases of being targeted by other adventurers or Familias, which happens not too often.” the shop owner. “Last week, Ishtar Amazons attacked an adventurer ‘cause apparently she insulted their leader who did not take that kindly.”
“Wait, really?” Bell spoke while taken back. “I know my Goddess said some Familias can be petty, but I didn’t think it was that bad at times.”
“There is a lot you don’t know. From that tone you're a newbie,” The shop owner said to Bell. “Let me give you some advice, it's better not to get involved with something that you shouldn’t cause if you do, then it won’t be pretty and keep your skills hidden. The less they know the better.”
“I understand.” Bell nodded his head to the shop.
“Well, here you go young man.” The shop owner handed Bell the mask. “This one’s on the house.”
“You're giving me this for free?”
“Consider it as a newbie package that you’d need in the future.” The shop owner said to Bell.
“Th-Thanks. Can I ask if the mask can also be repaired?”
“You can ask the Hephaestus Familia as they can carve runes for the mask to be hard to destroy.”
“Thank you,” Bell said, thanking the owner.
“Excuse me.” A woman spoke up, getting Bell’s attention, turning to see a woman approaching them. She is a slim young woman with short dark-blue hair cut around her jaw, with longer bangs framing one side of her face. Her eyes are a cool blue-gray, giving her a composed and serious expression. She wears a small gold headpiece on one side of her hair and matching gold earrings, which add a noble or priestess-like touch.
Her outfit is mostly orange, designed like a long sleeveless battle dress or tunic. It has an open-shoulder style with loose short sleeves hanging from gold bands around her upper arms. The chest and waist are decorated with white straps and gold rectangular buckles, making the outfit look both ceremonial and practical. A gold collar-like piece circles her neck and shoulders, matching the trim on her clothing.
Over the orange dress, she wears white and black armor-like pieces around her forearms, giving her a lightly armored adventurer look. The lower part of the dress has long vertical white trim and side openings, showing black leggings underneath. She also wears white boots with gold accents.
“Ahhh, Shakti!” The shop owner said to her, “Is it that time again?”
“Yes.” the woman, Shakti spoke to the mask shop owner in a stoic expression. “He’s done it again.”
He let out a loud beleaguered sigh.“As much as I like your Familia being a regular customer, I have to be honest, your God really needs to stop destroying his mask.” The mask shop owner sighed and got out a mask, handing it to Shakti. “Here you go.”
“Thank you and none taken.” Shakti said to the mask shop owner. “This is the fifth time this week.”
“Not even Hephaestus could help?”
“She decided not to take our orders of runes carved to destruction ‘cause she’s tired of Ganesha destroying his mask on a daily basis.” Shakti said to the shop owner. “And she reached her limits.”
“Can’t say I blame her.” The shop owner said to Shakti. “Speaking of, I was just offering some advice to a young boy on the worlds of adventuring. I believe you haven’t met he-”
“Oh it's you.” Shakti said to Bell, recognizing him.
“Were you the Ganesha member that looked like they were pleading with me not to join?” Bell asked. “I couldn’t really tell with the mask.”
Shakti let out a sigh and a groan. “Our god wants us to wear masks like his… And he wants me to wear a gold one since I’m the captain… I really prefer not wearing any at all if I can…”
“I mean it's not that bad is it? I think they’re cool.”
“He spends nearly all our money on making huge statues of his multiple times in gold, paintings, songs and even tried to make plants that look like him.” Shakti said to Bell. “He is very flamboyant and our Familia got bankrupt multiple times. He’s a good man, don’t get me wrong… but he’s way too… frivolous at times, trying to make people happy, and throwing parties for everyone.”
“Hey, Monsterphilia is still awesome to see, and gives us good business that time of the year,” the mask shop owner said. “The festival masks sell like hotcakes.”
“Monsterphilia?” Bell asked, looking confused.
“Ah, right, you’re new here, so you might not know about it,” Shakti said. “You see, we bring monsters up from the dungeon to try and tame them. The most that someone can tame is about 5 to 10 minutes at most.”
“That’s so cool~!” Bell shouted, stars in his eyes. He then realized something she said. “Wait, 5 to 10 minutes?”
"That's mostly for monsters in the Dungeon, you can make a Familiar contract with spirits that’ll last as long as the bond lasts.”
‘Okay, I can work with that if people wonder about you two,’ Bell thought to his two Pokemon. “But what about those who have monster tamer skills?”
“Those ones are usually rare. They are hard to come by around Orario so we usually just rent a few from other familiars to tame them.”
“Wow, I didn’t think it was that rare a skill,” Bell said, surprised. “It sounds like a useful one though.”
“It is,” she said.
Just then, the mask seller brought out the repaired elephant mask for Ganesha. “Here you go. And tell that oaf of a god of yours to be more careful with the mask. It’s hard enough to fix his mask.”
“Thank you.” She took the mask from him. “I better head back before Ganesha decides to use all our money to build a golden statue of himself in front of the Orario Guild, again.”
“... If anything… You god is… Kindhaerted?” Bell said, trying to be kind.
“That’s… one word for it…” Shakti said with a sweatdrop.
Bell smiled at her. “I hope to run into you again. It was nice talking to you.”
Shakti smiled back. “Same.” And with that, she left back to her Familia.
“If you are done flirting, Master,” Aegislash said, eye turning to look at Bell, and Bell blushing at the comment, “I think it’s time we head into the Dungeon. We need to Level up and gain more moves.”
Bell shook his head, getting the blush off his face. ‘Right.’

As Bell walked away, mask in hand and paid for, he was unaware that someone had been watching him.
Bell made it into the Dungeon, and was in a remote corner where no one would see him.
“Should get these tickets out of the way…” He muttered. “Dusknoir, is there anyone around?”
“I checked the premise, there is absolutely no one within our range.”
“Thats good, thanks Dusknoir.” Bell said to his pokemon before getting to roll.

“... Hephaetus is going to want to study this as well… isn’t she…?” Bell asked, already knowing the answer, as he put the shotgun in his hammerspace pocket. He didn’t want someone greedy taking it and using it.
“Yes, she will…” both his Ghost Pokemon said in unison. Bell just sighed, as he rolled his Gold Familiar Ticket.

Just then, said glowing ball of yellow appeared in front of Bell, floating right above his nose.
“Hello~!” The Spleunker Fairy greeted in a gruff tomboy voice. “My name’s Horizon Gem~! I see we’re already in a dungeon~!”
“It’s nice to meet you Horizon,” Bell greeted warmly, smiling at the Fairy. It felt like the Gacha was trying to make it so he could explore areas of the dungeon unknown yet, first with his Stand, now with Horizon, his new Spleunker Fairy.
“Shall we see what Treasures there are to find, Master?” She asked, ready to find hidden rooms and lost treasures.
“We will, I just need to do a few things,” Bell said, as he rolled his Platinum Ticket.

He rolled his last ticket, ready to see what he’d get.

As a basic cauldron, it is capable of filling itself with basic potions: Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Agility, Waterbreathing, Healing, Minor Regeneration, Stone Skin, etc. As long as the user knows what the potion (No Elixirs) is and it is Rare rank or below it can be brewed]
Just then, a cauldron the size of Bell landed in front of him with a mighty thud, making the four blink in surprise.
“... Okay, I definitely need to get in touch with Hestia’s friend soon…” Bell muttered in shock at how big the damn this was, and what it could do.
“Agreed…” all three said at once.
Now that was everything Bell rolled, putting the massive cauldron back into the hammer space. He might plan on testing it out to see what type of potion it is and if he’s lucky, he might brew some potions for himself to use later on and Goddess to sell.
Horizon, his Spleunker Fairy, buzzed happily over his shoulder, a small yellow beacon that only Bell and his Familiars could see. “The air is shifting, Master! Deeper we go! And I smell some good loot just past this drop!”
“Lead the way, Horizon,” Bell replied, his guild dagger held ready.
The stone ramp down led to the Second Floor, which was noticeably more vast and slightly brighter than the first, the walls glowing with a faint, warm orange luminescence. Paisley Park immediately mapped the area, showing a network of wide passages.
The first encounter was with a pack of Goblins and two monsters Bell hadn't faced before: Dungeon Lizards. They were fast, bipedal reptiles, their scales shimmering with a dark, wet sheen, and they spat small fireballs.
“Aegislash, use the shield to deflect the fire!” Aegislash flew forward, its King’s Shield catching the fireballs harmlessly. Bell noted how the Dungeon Lizards seemed less aggressive towards him than the Goblins and Kobolds, a subtle effect of his new Reptilian Rapport trait. Using the distraction, Bell focused on the Lizards. He sprinted, sidestepped a Goblin's club, and closed in. With a swift thrust and slash, he dispatched the two Lizards, noting their superior speed to the Goblins. The remaining Goblins and Kobolds quickly fell to Aegislash's deadly precision.

Bell continued his descent, the combined efforts of his Familiars making the floor traversal incredibly efficient. Paisley Park prevented dead ends, Horizon pointed out hidden veins of ore (which Bell mined with his hammer, utilizing his Adept Blunt Weapon Mastery), and Aegislash was a perfect, inexhaustible vanguard.
______________________________________________________________________________
(Dungeon: Third Floor)
The Third Floor was a maze of narrow, twisting corridors, the air thick with damp earth. Bell’s primary goal here was to farm magic stones and test his new Adept Blunt Weapon Mastery skill against the hardier monsters.
He swapped his dagger for one of the iron Warhammers from his storage. The weight was immense, but the moment he gripped it, the Adept Blunt Weapon Mastery skill activated, making the hammer feel as light and maneuverable as his dagger, but with devastating impact.
He came across a group of Goblins and three tough, heavily scaled Kobolds. The Kobolds’ hides were too thick for his guild knife to be efficient. With a battle cry, Bell swung the Warhammer. It connected with the first Kobold's head, crushing its skull instantly and splattering black ash against the cavern wall.
“Master, behind you!” Dusknoir’s mental voice warned him.
A Goblin was attempting a sneaky attack. Bell reacted instantly, slamming the hammer down in a reverse swing, crushing the Goblin into the floor. The force of the swing felt supernatural, confirming the description of his new skill.
He spent hours on this floor, aggressively engaging groups of Goblins, Kobolds, and Dungeon Lizards, using his hammer to conserve Aegislash’s energy for tougher situations. The Lizard monsters were common here, and Bell found that the Reptilian Rapport made them hesitate just long enough for him to land a killing blow, earning him dozens of magic stones.

(Dungeon: Fourth Floor)
The Fourth Floor introduced deeper shadows and larger, more coordinated groups of monsters. The floor was rough and uneven, covered in shallow pools of water.
Horizon constantly alerted Bell to small, hidden treasure caches—mostly small veins of silver or iron—allowing him to boost his resource count significantly. Paisley Park, meanwhile, tracked the movements of larger patrols.
Bell and Aegislash encountered a major ambush: four Goblins, three Kobolds, and five Dungeon Lizards sprang from three different tunnels.
“Dusknoir, give me covering fire!” Bell shouted.
“Understood, Master. Shadow Ball!” Dusknoir emerged partially from Bell’s shadow, manifesting dark energy spheres that slammed into the Lizard formation, stunning two and scattering the rest. This was a new application of Dusknoir’s powers, using the element of surprise.
Bell, wielding his hammer, became a whirlwind of blunt force, while Aegislash defended his blind spots, deflecting incoming attacks with King’s Shield. The Goblins and Kobolds were crushed under the sheer power of the Warhammer, while the Lizard’s regenerative tendencies were overcome by the high damage output.

______________________________________________________________________________
(Dungeon: Fifth Floor)
Bell stood at the entrance to the Fifth Floor. This level was colder, the air hinting at the deeper, more dangerous levels below. The primary challenge was the sheer volume of monsters. He had to be fast and decisive.
His time management on the previous floors was excellent, allowing him to push this far in less than a week. He knew the next threshold was the tenth floor, but the Fifth Floor itself felt like a stepping stone to the deeper layers.
A large, continuous cavern stretched before him, teeming with all three target monsters: Goblins, Kobolds, and Dungeon Lizards. This was a true grinder floor.
“Aegislash, use Dark Magic for area clearing. Dusknoir, keep an eye on the ceiling. Horizon, find me an exit and treasure,” Bell commanded, his Adept Leadership skill making his voice steady and strategic.
Aegislash unleashed a wave of dark energy, scattering and dissolving groups of Goblins instantly. Bell, using his incredible agility and the sheer crushing power of his Warhammer, charged the Kobolds and Dungeon Lizards, relying on the confusion caused by Aegislash’s attack.
He fought for what felt like hours, moving constantly, striking with devastating power, and collecting magic stones into his bag until it was almost bursting. By the time he reached the ramp to the Sixth Floor, he was exhausted but exhilarated.
[Feat Achieved! Reach the 5th Floor in less than one week: +1 Platinum Random Ticket!]

Bell paused at the transition point, checking the map on Paisley Park’s shadow. The Sixth Floor was ahead, but he was at his limit. He realized his bag was full, his stamina was low, and his mind was craving rest.
‘I’ve pushed far enough. Time to go back and report to Eina,’ he thought, looking back at the piles of black ash he left behind. He had done more than enough to impress his Guild Advisor and help his Goddess.
Horizon was pouting. “I couldn’t sense ANY hidden treasure rooms..!”
“Well, we are just in the first few floors of the first layer of the Dungeon," Bell said, as he rolled his first ticket.

Bell blinked when a white tome with gold etching appeared in his hand. He had another Soul Bonded Grimoire now, and it went with his first Healing Spell/Ability. He was going to need to work on his magic soon. Maybe healing people at the clinic.
“Wow, Mastyer~! You got a lot of treasure from your skill!”
“If this isn’t a sign of how bad things are with Hestia’s Friend and his Familia, then I’m a Klefki!”
“Yes, it seems things might be worse than Hestia was led to believe.”
“Maybe when I come back to Goddess, I can start learning white magic, or some of it. Having healing spells will be a lot more effective.” Bell said to his companion and Pokemon. “I’m not sure if I have a talent for White mage.”
“There are Battle Clerics,” Horizon said.
“I heard about them.” Bell said to the fairy. “My grandfather told me they were both a fighter and healer, a rare combination they were once. I did want to use a mace as a weapon at first but they were too heavy so I decided to stick with daggers.”
“Doesn’t stop you from using a mace or those warhammers you have.”
“True but I’ve already decided that a dagger is fine with me.”
“Hey, with your Chaos Gacha, you might be the Adventurer Class Adventurer, able to fill out any role needed at any time. You just prefer the Rogue class the most. There’s nothing wrong with liking what you like, Master.”
“True I-”
“MASTER! WATCH OUT! BEHIND YOU!”
With the warning, Bell dodged to his left, narrowly avoiding a dungeon weapon that would have bisected him. He quickly pulling out his knife, and looking to see-
“WHAT THE HELL IS A MINOTAUR DOING ON THE FIFTH FLOOR!?” Bell shouted in shock, eyes wide. His Griffon scratched at the beast as it roared at them.
“Master! We need to retreat! I can sense that this beast is like those of Fight/Dark type of our world, a type I’m weak to!”
“I may be immune to Fighting, but the Dark type will affect me.”
‘And Praetorian being with Hephaetus… Eina was right, the Dungeon does try to attack you at your weakest!’ He thought before dodging again. Bell whistled for his Griffins, jumping on their backs as they ran towards him. “We need to get away from here! Lead it away from other Adventures!" He shouted as Paisley Park was summoned, giving him locations of other Adventurers and where to go to avoid them.
The Minotaur roared, running after Bell and his Familiars. Bell knew he couldn’t be picky on his weapons right now so he summoned one of his Warhammers and summoned his Lightning Grimoire to try and slow the beast down, or at least tire it for a stronger Adventurer to come and stop it.
He flipped through the pages telepathically, looking for a spell. He couldn’t find one that wouldn’t either bring the cave down, or have him give off his Griffon to attack with. So he went with Frozen Lightning.
Bell held his hand out, pointing at the minotaur, before shouting, “Frozen Lightning!” and shout out a bolt of ice blue lighting that hits the beast arm, making it freeze and the Minotaurt to roar in pain.
Bell blinked. “That actually hurt it?”
“Worry about the discovery later, master! You need to focus on avoiding deadends!”
“Oh, right,” Bell said, making sure to follow the path of his Stand… only to see that he was about to run into a dead end to avoid adventures that were weaker. It tried to find a way to avoid it, but it didn’t seem to find one, like the dungeon was intentionally leading him into a dead end.
‘Another one of the Dungeon's tricks? Can it sense my powers? If so, it must see me as a threat to kill quickly so I don’t become a bigger one then.’ He thought.
“When your adviser said the dungeon was alive, I did not think it had this much sapience," Dusknoir said, firing a shadowball at the Minotaur. It hit, but it barely did anything.
“Oh no, Eina was right! The dungeon is ALIVE alive!” Bell spoke with dawning horror.
“It must see you as a clear threat!”
“But why?!”
“I think it's ‘cause you summoned those items and us Familiars from the Chaos Gacha and it sensed that and maybe the power it has!” Horizon said, trying to sense if there were any side rooms that were hidden.
“Crap! I shouldn’t have used the Chaos Gacha in the dungeon!” Bell shouted, lambasting himself for his recklessness. (Dark: The Dungeon is both mysterious and not that much known to us considering it produces monsters and other stuff like a typical RPG dungeon type. We figured what if we made that concept that the dungeon is alive theory. Making it hard for Bell and even with his skills and stuff he gets from Chaos Gacha will be harder. Light: True, and it does know when someone will be a threat to it and its children later on, And sensing a skill that can do what it can, well… It would mark Bell as a high priority target. Just means Bell will get more Tickets for his labors.)
“Well, lesson learned, but I think it’s too late now, it knows what you can do, and will target you when it gets the chance. This can both be good and bad; good because you’ll be able to get more training for yourself and use, bad because it’ll keep attacking use when our guard is down.”
Bell was about to reply… but was cut off when they got to the dead end. “Damn it, I thought we’d have more time…” Bell said, gritting his teeth.
Just then the group heard the roar of the Minotaur right behind them, making them turn to look to see the monster blocking the path. It was infuriated at its prey trying to escape it, let alone a weak little prey hurt it with its bizarre power.
Bell jumped down, weapons in hand, as his Familiars got ready to fight, Aegislash and Dusknior coming off his back and out of his shadow, all five of his Familiars ready to fight to protect Bell. Heck, Horizon had a mini pickaxe coming out of her ‘body’.
Bell was shaking, he would admit, he was scared. Hell, he thinks that if he were just a normal adventure without the Gacha, he’d have been terrified. HGe knew, even with all his powers he had, he was no match for a monster that needed Level 2 Adventures to fight against. But he’d rather go down swinging than cower in a corner in fear.
‘Goddess… I might not make it back… Please… forgive me…’ Bell thought, thinking of the Goddess that helped him, and gave him home. He pulled out his new shotgun, and was going to fight with everything.
Before any of them could do anything, there was a ‘Shing!’ as a silvery light was seen… and the Minotaur’s hand was cut off. Everyone blinked before more silvery strikes were seen… and the Minotaur was cut to pieces.
“... Huh… Guess your luck still holds Master.”
[Feat Archive! Survive an encounter with a Minitour: +1 Diamond Trait Ticket]
Bell ignored that when he saw an extremely beautiful young woman, often said to rival the beauty of a goddess attracting the gaze of many people, with long blond hair, golden eyes, and a slender body.
She was beautiful……….. minus the blood covered around her. Bell did not have a single blood stain on him thanks to his hygiene trait that all the blood slid off of him.
“Oh that was a close one!” Another feminine voice spoke up. “If we were a minute late that kid would’ve been smashed to pieces!”
“Whoa, are those monsters!? And are they tamed by him!?” A third feminine voice, almost sounding like the second a bit, said.
Bell looked and saw two Amazonian Twins, making him blush.
The first has dark green eyes and long black hair with an attractive and well-endowed physique. As an Amazoness, she wears revealing clothing and has sky blue earrings on her ears.
The second has medium length black hair and dark green eyes. Like all Amazonesses, she wears revealing clothing, wearing only a Tube top that only covers around her chest and a pareo around her waist, and always goes barefoot.
“Are you… okay?” the Blond haired woman asked, looking weary about the ‘monsters’ surrounding Bell, like she was ready to attack the beasts.
“Uhhhh, uhhhhhh, uuuuuhhhhhhhhhh.” Bell stuttered his sentence while his heart was pounding so hard and fast he felt like the world was too fast for him.
“He might’ve been scared by facing a monster that was about to kill him.” One of the Amazons suggested. “And he is kinda cute.”
Just then Horizon floated up to Ais. “... Huh… I sense something familiar about you? Like… we're related somehow?”
The only thought Bell had in his mind that he could do was run away and scream. If that was the case.
WHACK!
“OW!” Bell shouted while rubbing the back of his head where Aegislash hit him. “... Thank you, Aegislash. I’m calm now.”
“For some reason I had to. You were about to do something embarrassing, Master.” Aegislash said to Bell.
“Wow~ Your Familiars are really cool~!” One of the Amazoness said with stars in her eyes.
“Thanks.” He said to the Amazoness. “They’re my familiars, the sword is Aegislash, the ghost is Dusknoir and the fairy is Horizon.” He explained to the Amazoness. “I haven’t named the Griffons yet. I got a Male and Female.”
“Five familiars, that's something you don’t see.”
“... I have six actually…” Bell admitted, looking away sheepishly. “Hephaetus and her Captain are studying him…”
“I see-wait a minute, you mean that Golem, the one that beat Bete, is your's?” One of the Amazoness, Tiona, spoke to Bell while surprised and shocked.
Bell sighed, removing the mask from his face and moving it to his side. “Guess the cats out of the bag… Yeah, that’s me…”
“So you’re the new Rookie that’s been breaking records left and right like Ais did?” the other Amazoness, Tione, said. “Impressive. You might not look strong, but I guess looks can be deceiving then.”
“Thanks. It's not that much really.”
“How come you're here and not with that Golem?” Tiona asked Bell.
“I did say Hephaestus and her captain were studying him. I thought I was gonna be safe since I didn’t venture further down the floors but I think I might need to pick him up.”
“Yeah sorry about that.” Tiona apologized to Bell with a sheepish look. “That was our fault. We wanted to get some extra training in before our Expodiootion… and we scared a herd of Minotaurs with how fast we killed 5…”
“I told you we should not get too carried away.” Tione retorted at her sister.
“Hey! How’s it my fault that one got away and this far up?” Tiona shouted at her sister.
“... That… Might have been the dungeon targeting me…” Bell admitted, not wanting the girls’ to blame themselves. This made the three girls look at him in confusion.
“Really?”
“Yeah I awakened a new skill which caught the Dungeons attention.” Bell explained to them while hiding his Chaos Gacha. “I think it might’ve sensed it and directed the Minotaur towards me. I fought against it for a bit. It was strong.”
“You fought the Minotaur?” Tiona said with her eyebrow shot up along with her sister while Ais stoically glanced at Bell. “Wow kid, that's impressive.”
“Indeed, the Dungeon does often target adventurers who have special skills and powers. Not many people survived an interference from the dungeon.” Tione said to Bell.
“That is……… impressive.” Ais said to Bell with a compliment.
Bell was blushing and smiling sheepishly. “It wasn’t that impressive. I should be thanking you for saving my rear.”
“We should at least escort you to the guild and explain what happened,” Tione said.
“And you should have this as compensation for this mishap,” Tiona said, handing Bell the Minotaur Magic Stone.
Bell was shocked. “W-Wait, I can;’t accept this, this is too much!”
“Take it, if not for the mishap, then to smooth things out between our Familias,” Tione said. Ais nodded in agreement.
“... O-Okay then…” Bell said, taking the gem.

“Oh, we never introduced ourselves! I’m Tiona Hiryute, that’s my sister, Tione, and this is our sister in all but blood, Ais Wallenstein~!” Tiona introduced each of them. “If you hadn’t guessed, we’re from the Loki Familia.”
“O-Oh, I’m Bell, Bell Cranell,” Bell said. “I’m with the Hestia Familia.”
“Ah, I see, that’s why Loki was upset earlier. She lost you to her rival.”
“Due to Bete, yeah,” Bell said, smiling sheepishly.
The three girls facepalmmed. “Of course he did…” they all said at the same time.
“I take it I’m not the first person he scared off, like Loki said?”
“Oh you have no idea…” Tione said in a deadpan.

(Guild Hall)
Eina was pinching the bridge of her nose in irritation. First, Bell SOMEHOW tame, not only a Fairy, but one for finding treasure in dungeons, one she’s never even HEARD of before, and two griffins, one male, and one female, that can give children to other adventures that won’t attack them.
The guild was already abuzz with that… but most they were talking about was that Bell was walking with the Sword Princess and the Amazoness Twins, getting jealous murmurs from some guys… and were those longing looks from some females at Bell?
Oh, but the worst part… the worst part of all of this… “YOU RAN INTO A MINOTAUR ON THE FIFTH FLOOR AND WERE ABLE TO WOULD IT!?” she shouted at the four of them in complete anger.
“I-I swear Ms. Eina, I really wasn’t looking for a fight with something like that!” Bell shouted, holding his hands up in surrender. “I tried to get out of the Dungeon to find stronger Adventures, but the Dungeon seemed like it wanted to actually end me!”
This shocked a lot of adventurers.
“Wait, the Dungeon put a hit out on the kid?"
“I’ve only heard that happening to adventurers in strong Familias.”
“Geez, the kid must have had talent then for his scrawny body.”
“I just let go of a good member candidate from his looks…” one groaned, berating themselves.
“It was also our fault,” Tione said. “We spooked a herd of them on our way back from training, and one managed to get to Bell’s location.”
“We’re even allowing him to take the Stone as an apology gift for the incident,” Tiona said, as Bell placed the stone on the table for Eina to look at. She sighed while taking it.
She then placed a bag full of Valis. “Okay, you gained 35,000 Valis for the stone.”
Bell’s jaw dropped. “T-That can’t be right. T-That seems too much!”
“That’s the normal price for those,” Ais stated.
“But-But I didn’t kill the minotaur!”
“Doesn’t matter.”
“At least let me pay you 75% of it.”
“No, you take it. It’s to apologize for our negligence.”
“No, the Dungeon only did it to get to me.”
People were moving their heads back and forth, watching the Rookie and Ais try to argue who gets what, like a tennis match.
“Oh no.. there's two of them now…” Tione said, letting out a (playful) groan. She was glad Ais was talking to someone outside the Familia though.
Eina let out a sigh. “Okay, you two, that’s enough. Bell, they are trying to make amends for what happened, Dungeon interfering or not, so you are rightfully owed the money of the Magic Stone.”
“But-”
“No buts!” Eina said, poking his nose. “So no trying to back out.” She then shoved the bag in his arms. She… might have been still upset with Bell for getting himself in danger. “I think it's best that you rest up for the day.”
“I……….. I guess you're right.” Bell said to Eina.
“And I suggest you might need your golem familiar with you for your protection.” Eina said to Bell. “It is quite strong enough for any dangers you might face in the dungeon.” Adding in to Bell. “Plus the dungeon will soon forget about your presence since you did say that the dungeon was targeting you.”
“Right. I’ll pick him up tomorrow from Hephaetus Familia,” Bell said. “Thanks again for your help Miss Ais, Tiona and Tione.”
“No problem.”
“If that idiot Bete didn’t stop you from joining you would’ve been a great Familia member to Loki’s.”
Bell shrugged the best he could with the bag in his hand. “Eh, maybe. I do like where I am now. Makes working for my goals more rewarding.”
“See you around………..Bell.” Ais said to Bell.

“WHAT?! YOU FACED OFF A MINOTAUR AT THE FIFTH FLOOR?!” Hestia shouted to Bell in shock and concern. “Damn that Loki! Does she not know how dangerous it is if one monster from lower levels escapes all because of their training?! I’m gonna kill that flat plank bitch the next time I see her!”
“Lady Goddess please, it wasn’t all their fault,” Bell said, trying to calm her down. “It seems the Dungeon used them to try and get to me, seeing me as a threat.”
“I can’t believe the Dungeon can sense the Chaos Gacha.” Hestia spoke while worried. “Dammit, those other gods in Heaven were right! The dungeon is alive! This is my fault! If I told you not to roll in the dungeon it wouldn’t target you!”
“It's alright Lady Goddess, I think it might forget about me so long as I don’t use any rolls in the dungeon.” Bell said to Hestia in assurance. “I’ll only Roll in there if it;’s an emergency and we need something based on the luck of the spin.”
“Ok, speaking of rolls, do you have any tickets?” Hestia asked Bell.
“I did, one platinum ticket and two golden tickets. Oh! And a diamond ticket trait.”
“Well what are you waiting for? Go ahead and roll them! See what you get.” Hestia said to Bell.
Bell nodded, and did so starting with the Diamond Trait Ticket.

“I’m fine, Goddess,” Bell said, as the pain settled down. “I just got a boost to my Magic.”

“... Okay, this is useful,” Bell said in surprise.
“Now you have a proper fighting style!” Hestia said to Bell. “You could be like the ancient hero Achilles from the age of heroes.”
“Achilles?”
“Yup, he was known as the hero of Troy, he was known to be defending a city from monster invasions. It is said that his lightning powers were blessed by Zeus, one of the Almighty Gods of Thunder.”
“Wow, that's amazing.” Bell said with awe. “I always thought that Argonaut was a famous hero.”
“There are other heroes, Bell, you just need to know where to find the stories,” Hestia stated. “Now, on the couch, I need to update your Falna.”
“Ok.” Bell said as he got off and took off his shirt.
Hestia went to work on Bell’s stats… and was shocked to see what she saw. Bell’s stats jumped up immensely! Not only that, he had multiple Tickets in his slaot… and a New skill that wasn’t from his Gacha!

Bell’s jaw dropped. “... Oh… I just know I’m going to get more targets from this…” he said, groaning.
“Bell, as much as you’d not to keep a secret, this is another reason that you cannot let anyone know about that skill! Especially Loki!” Hestia said to Bell. “If she finds out she’ll find a way to poach you away from me and I’ll be alone! Forever! While she would try to set you up with Ais and make sure your family runs Loki Familia for an entire generation!”
“WHAT?! G-GODDESS I TOLD YOU! I’M NOT IN LOVE WITH AIS!”
“You certainly are Master, you're blushing right now.”
“DON’T MAKE THIS WORSE DUSKNOIR!” Bell shouted while panicking and blushing in embarrassment at the same time. Just then his head perked up when Hestia talked about other Familia, he almost forgot about one thing that he was supposed to tell Hestia. “Oh yeah, Lady Goddess, I also obtained a roll from the Chaos Gacha. It's something that can restore a limb.”
“Wait, really?” Hestia forgot all her anger when Bell spoke about an item that can restore limbs. “Can it do that?”
“It's called Auto Doc and it said it can perform even the most complicated medical procedures.” Bell responded to Hestia. “All it needs is a power generator.”
“So a Magic Stone Generator then,” Hestia stated.
“Yeah, and I was thinking that Miach and his Familia could use it, as well as some other items I rolled that can be helpful, like the Witch's Rejuvenation Potion. They might also be able to use it to implant the Hashirama Cells in me as well.”
“Hmmmm, I’m not sure if it can work.” Hestia said to Bell. “Why not, we first give it a shot? To see if it can perform such extraordinary medical procedures.” She said to Bell.
“Alright Goddess.” Turning to Dusknoir and giving him a pouch of money in it. “Can you head to Hephaetus to see if she’s selling a Magic Stone Generator and while you're there, can you pick up Praeterion as well?”
“It shall be done.” Dusknoir bowed to Bell before sinking to the floor, disappearing.
______________________________________________________________________________
(Later)
Dusknoir came back with a Magic Stone Generator and his Familiar, Praeteion as well but also still had a pouch of money with him. Dusknoir relied on the message from Hephaetus to Bell that he’s reminded he can get anything from her store for free.
Hooking up the Auto Doc to the magic stone generator which powered up.
“Are you sure you want to do this Bell?” Hestia asked Bell with concern. “We could find someone else to test it.”
“It's too dangerous, Lady Goddess, I don’t want something happening to them if something goes wrong.” Bell said to Hestia, getting onto the Auto Doc. “I’ll be alright thanks to my skills and traits.”
“.............. Ok Bell. I trust you.” Hestia said to Bell, trusting her Familia member, stepping back.
Bell took out the Vials which contained Hashirama’s Cell and turned to the Machine.
“Auto Doc, implant the cells within me.” Bell gave the command to the Auto Doc.
[Command confirmed]
[Splicing cells into Host genetic cells, implanting cells operation initiate]
The Auto Doc hummed with clinical efficiency as several mechanical arms tipped with microscopic needles descended. Hestia watched with bated breath as the machine administered a local anesthetic before the primary injectors pierced Bell’s chest and arms. The vibrant green essence of the Hashirama Cells flowed into his bloodstream, and for a moment, everything was still.
Then, his body arched. Bell gasped as a surge of raw, untamed vitality exploded from his heart. It felt like a forest was trying to take root in his veins; his skin flickered with a faint emerald glow, and the small scratches he’d sustained in the dungeon vanished in an instant. His pulse thundered in his ears, a rhythmic drum of life force so potent it threatened to overwhelm his senses before his newly formed Magic Circuits flared to life, stabilizing the chaotic energy and weaving it into his very DNA.
Bell slumped back against the padding, steam rising from his skin as the Auto Doc’s scanners turned green. He felt... heavy, yet filled with a level of stamina he had never imagined possible. His breathing deepened, each inhale feeling like he was drawing in the life of the world itself.
[Feat Achieved! Successfully integrate Sage-Level Genetic Material: +1 Legendary Random Ticket!]
“It worked Bell!” Hestia said to her Familia member before becoming surprised. “Woah! Bell what happened? Why all of a sudden you have the essence of Nature itself?” Hestia asked Bell. “And much more potent, even more than the Gods/Goddess of Nature.”
“I……. I don’t know Lady Goddess.” Bell answered to his Goddess. “It could be from those cells.”
“I need to check your stats!” She said to Bell, pricking his finger and checked his Falna Stats.

“Wood Release?” Hestia spoke while confused. “And the ability to summon and manipulate trees?”
“You mean I can summon trees?” Bell said to Hestia with starry eyes and amazed. “Then could that also mean I can manipulate plant life to my will? This is amazing! Now we won’t have problems growing food!”
“Again, if any Gods hear about your abilities, remember what I said, especially about manipulating Nature.” Hestia said to Bell. “Due to the rules that we can’t use Arcanum in the mortal realm it made Gods’ life hard while in the mortal realm, especially the nature Gods. If they hear about you manipulating Nature they will stop at nothing to get you into their Familia, especially Demeter.”
“... And if I can make healing herbs… I can see Dian Cecht wanting me for that… I… had a bad feeling when I saw how gaudy he was, and decided to skip his Familia…” Bell admitted.
“That’s a good decision and growing medical herbs sounds like a good idea to practice.” Hestia said to Bell. “Remember, make sure no one knows your Wood Release as well. If anyone senses your nature, especially those Gods just make up an excuse.”
“I will, Goddess.” Bell said to Hestia. He then turned back to the Auto Doc. “I still think this should be used by Miach Familia. I know that Miach is your friend, Goddess, and I trust your judgment. And I do have the other items I won that they can use as well.”
“This will help him a lot.” Hestia said to Bell. “Have I ever told you why Micah familia has been failing?”
“I kinda got the sense of it thanks to the Gacha giving me healing supplies and powers that could help them,” Bell said, smiling sheepishly and rubbing the back of his head.
“Yes but do you know how?”
“That… I do not,” Bell admitted. “I take it it has something to do with a Familiar Member?”
“... That Adept Leadership of yours really makes you a lot keener than you were already,” Hestia stated. She then shook her head. “But yes, they’re in debt with the Dian Cecht Familia, because his captain lost her arm to a monster, and Dian Cecht charges… well it’s highway robbery if I have to say it. And he’s one of the few Familia that can make prosthetics.”
“What?!” Bell was shocked by what he heard from Hestia. “But that's not fair! Why would he do that?”
“There is a lot more you don’t know about in Orario. Sometimes even Gods are not fair. You’ve seen it happen personally.” Hestia sadly said to Bell. “Ever since then his Familia members all left Micah and their broke, stuck and worthless. The only one that stayed was the girl that has the prosthetic arm.”
“But…….. But I don’t understand.” Bell said to Hestia. “Why would they leave his Familia if he cares about them?”
“Not all Familia members care if their Gods cared or not. And he did it without informing anyone as well. He's a good person, but he’s too kind-hearted at times, and it doesn’t help that he does give potions out for free when he needs the money…” Hestia was facepalming at this.
“... Do you think he can be trustworthy of knowing my secret?” Bell asked, trying to think of ways to help. “... And if we can give his Captain a few of my Tickets?”
“Maybe so Bell, it's up to you to decide.”
Bell nodded, as he pulled out the Tattoo Kit. “I think they can be trusted. And I think I have a way to help her.”
“It better not be something that makes her fall in love with you.”
“IT WON’T BE LIKE THAT!”
“With your skills, it might…” Aegislash, Dusknior, and Horizon said in unison. Bell gave his three Familiars a flat look.
______________________________________________________________________________
(Outside)
Both Bell and Praeteion stood against each other a few feets distance away. Bell was holding Aegislash while Praeteion levitated with his red katana gleaming with red light.
Bell wanted to practice one of his new skills which was Thunder breathing. Asking his familiar Praeteion to help with his training.
Bell closed his eyes, centering himself. He took a deep, shuddering breath, filling his lungs not just with air, but with the raw, crackling energy of his innate Thunder Magic. The ground beneath his feet began to faintly hum, and a thin nimbus of blue-white electricity sparked around his form. This was the foundation of the skill: Thunder Breathing. The instructions that had flowed into his mind dictated absolute focus, transforming his body into a conductor, ready to unleash a speed no mortal should possess.
“Ready, Praeteion,” Bell muttered, his voice taut with concentration. Aegislash, his current blade, felt unnaturally light in his hands, buzzing with sympathetic energy.
“Come, Master. Show me the blade of the Thunder God.” Praeteion responded, his red katana, Murasame, held ready but relaxed, a mirror of Bell's own calm focus before the storm.
“Thunder Breathing, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash”
The sound barrier fractured where his foot had been, and a genuine peal of thunder ripped through the air a split-second after he had moved.
Praeteion’s glowing red eyes widened almost imperceptibly, his stance tightening just as the lightning-fast trajectory of Bell’s attack appeared before him. Bell was a blur of silver and white, covering the distance in a single, near-instantaneous step, the glowing edge of Aegislash aimed directly for the familiar’s neck. This was a technique designed for instant termination.
Praeteion, however, was a Soul-Bound Familiar with centuries of combat experience. Relying on instinct and Murasame’s superior speed, he parried the strike with a clean clang that sent a shower of sparks across the training ground. The impact force, augmented by Bell’s Magic Circuits and the sheer momentum of the Thunderclap and Flash, was incredible. Even the mighty golem familiar was forced to slide back several feet, etching deep gouges into the earth with his heels.
Bell rebounded instantly, his momentum twisting him around for a follow-up attack, his breathing still perfectly regulated, drawing more power from his core. The adrenaline was a fierce, electric current, burning through his veins.
“Too fast, Master. But predictable.” Praeteion’s voice echoed in his mind, already recovered and moving to press his advantage.
Bell ignored the comment, channeling a deeper well of power. He knew the first form was raw speed, relying on a single, inescapable strike. He had to be faster.
“Thunder Breathing, Second Form: Rice Spirit”
Without breaking his flow, Bell twisted his body into a continuous spin, initiating the next sequence. Instead of one blinding attack, the Rice Spirit technique was a whirlwind of lightning-quick slashes designed to cover a wide area and confuse the enemy.
Blue lightning erupted from Aegislash as Bell executed five rapid, arching slashes in an instant. The sound of his attack was not a single thunderclap, but a sustained, deafening crackle. He aimed for Praeteion’s limbs and body..
Praeteion was forced onto the defensive, rotating Murasame in a desperate, glowing red shield, deflecting the rapid-fire slashes that seemed to come from every direction at once. The air around them churned with raw speed and arcane electrical power. Bell’s movements were fluid, precise, and impossibly quick, a continuous dance of deadly light.
Bell felt the Hashirama Cells in his core working overtime, effortlessly stabilizing the massive energy draw of combining two elite skills. His whole body vibrated with perfect, controlled power. He saw an opening, a fractional gap in Praeteion's defense, and pushed one final, desperate surge of power into his legs to close the distance.
“Dangerous move, Master.” Praeteion warned, but it was too late.
Bell executed his final lightning cut, a perfect strike that would have disarmed his familiar. But before the blade could connect, his regulated breathing shattered.
A sudden, jarring shift occurred. The explosive power that fueled his movements short-circuited, not from exhaustion, but from an overwhelming internal force. His heart, already hammering from the physical strain, suddenly doubled its pace. It felt like a drum of war was being beaten against his ribs, not from physical exertion alone, but with a terrifying, ecstatic violence.
A sudden, violent explosion of pain, not power, seized his chest. The explosive energy that should have fueled his final move short-circuited, twisting into a blinding, searing agony that felt like a fist crushing his sternum. This was a physiological rebellion. The Hashirama Cells, the Thunder Breathing, the Magic Circuits; everything slammed into a wall of internal failure.
Bell gasped, but the air caught in his throat, a soundless, desperate cry. The lightning around Aegislash vanished, and the blade slipped from his paralyzed, numb fingers, clattering on the earth. His vision tunneled into a throbbing, white-hot spot behind his eyes, and a wave of nausea washed over him, blurring the image of Praeteion. His heart, which had been a powerful drum, now seized up, fluttering erratically, a panicked, failing machine. A searing pain shot down his left arm, accompanied by a crushing sense of dread.
He stumbled, his knees buckling, falling to the damp earth. Every muscle in his body locked in a spasm of excruciating terror, and he felt a cold sweat break out across his skin.
“Master!” Praeteion roared, a sound of genuine alarm ringing in Bell’s mind, instantly dropping his defensive posture and rushing to Bell’s side, Murasame becoming a red glow and disappearing.
Bell was dimly aware of his familiar reaching him, but he couldn't speak, couldn't move. He lay sprawled on the ground, his face pale, lips tinged blue, struggling for a breath that wouldn't come. His body had betrayed him.
'I... I can't breathe...' The last coherent thought was a terrifying realization: the immense strain of combining his powerful skills had pushed his mortal vessel past its breaking point.
“BELL!” Hestia shouted at him, quickly rushing to his side.
“Master heart has stopped, administering deliberating CPR.” Praeteion said while placing his hands over Bell’s chest. “Clear.”
TZZZZZZZZHHHHHH!
Bell took a deep gasp, quickly shooting up from the floor as he pants. “What……… What happened?”
“BELL!” Hestia glomped Bell, hugging him close to her with tears in her eyes.
“Goddess?”
“You fell all of a sudden Bell! As if you were experiencing a mana backlash!” Hestia said to Bell.
“Incorrect Hestia. What the Master experienced was a heartattack.” Praeteion explained to Hestia. “I have scanned the skills of Thunder Breathing. It uses a breathing technique that expands the lungs to intake as much air as possible, accelerating the blood flow and heartbeat while increasing their inner body temperature, resulting in their bones and muscles more excited. Masters first use of the Thunder Breathing resulting in his heart suddenly experiencing a heart attack due to his body not being used to Breathing techniques.”
“So it was because I’m not used to it.” Bell muttered under his breath.
“Indeed, your body and heart have not been trained to use those types of breathing. This unit suggests that Master Bell must practice his breathing techniques before using thunder breathing skill.”
“Seems I’m going to need to find a teacher for that then…” Bell said, groaning. “This Skill feels Eastern, if that makes any sense, so are there any Eastern Familias I can learn from?”
“There’s my friend, Takemikazuchi, he and his Familia could help,” Hestia said. “He and his Familia came here to earn money for the orphanage back east that he co-owns..”
“... Huh, respectable." Bell said, actually happy to hear that he was a good god.
“Speaking of, do you have another role? A Legendary?”
“I think so?”
“Well why don’t you roll it? This is your first Legendary! Lets see what you’d get Bell?” Hestia said to Bell, beckoning him to roll the legendary.
Bell just smiled, and rolled it.

Just then, the giant ass black magic nullification sworded appeared and slammed right into the ground, blade side going into the ground.
“Whoa… That thing looks heavy,” Bell started, looking at the blade.
“AAAAAHHH! WHAT IS THAT THING?!” Hestia shouted and pointed at the blade. “It looks so foul and feels like every part of mana itself is afraid of it! Even my Arcanum is shaking!”
“... Well it is a Magic Dispelling Sword, Goddess, I guess it would have that effect. … But why is it called a Demon-Slayer Blade?” Bell wondered, confused by the name.
“A magic dispelling sword? You mean this sword can cut through any magic?” Hestia said to Bell.
“I think so. Why?”
“Bell, there’s only rare cares of anyone having an anti magic weapon because they only heard during the Age of Heroes, even Gods fear those weapons cause they can cut through links from the Heaven and kill them, permanently.”
“What?!” Bell shouted in shock. “You mean it even kills a god as well?”
“I’m not sure, it's only stories I heard before.” Hestia said to Bell. “So it's not technically true it can kill Gods but it can for sure sever the link between Gods and Heaven. Only enforcers of heaven have those types of weapons but the only thing they could do is banish, not serve the link.” Hestia explained to Bell. (Dark: An Anti Magic is a pretty deadly weapon ‘cause it can cut through anything that's within magic. Gods are linked to the divines and heaven in Danmachi. Anti Magic might be a deadly weapon to even the Gods cause it is shown even Devils can be cut down and reality itself considering one devil has the power to literally alter the surroundings through speech. Light: Yeah, it’s a nasty weapon, but useful if you need it for protection.)
Bell looked at the sword. “Okay, so be careful when using it, is what you’re saying Goddess, and only take it out in emergencies.”
“Exactly. You should put it in your pocket dimension so it won’t attract attention.” Hestia said to Bell while also mentally speaking in her mind. ‘If those rumors are true then………… He could get rid of those Evil Gods.’
It is no secret that Hestia absolutely despises those Evil Gods to the core. Those bastards and Gods cause chaos and disorder all for the sake of entertainment and twisted manipulation. As a goddess of Hearth so many homes were lost due to them and even those that got sent back to Heaven were given a light sentence due to them being Gods. Hestia hates them, so much she wishes they burn to the core and ashes.
But can she tell Bell to kill? Maybe when he sees how truly evil they are but she doesn’t want to give him the burden to take a life. She would be there for him and wait, he should be himself for now, and enjoy life.
“Come on Bell! While we wait for the chance to meet with Takemikazuchi you can practice on your Wood Release. Let's see how much you can grow.” Hestia said to Bell, pulling him to outside.
“O-Okay goddess.” Bell said to Hestia.
For now, let's just hope his innocence won’t be shattered if he ever encounters them ‘cause so Heavens help her, she doesn’t care about the consequences of using her Arcanum. They will burn, they will all burn if they lay a hand on her sweet little Familia.

(???)
The Goddess of Beauty, Freya, reclined on a chaise lounge, a wine glass lightly balanced on her perfectly manicured hand. Her captain, Ottar, stood silently by, as usual. Freya was not paying attention to her opulent surroundings; her mind, and her sight, were focused elsewhere. A silvery light, her divine sight, stretched across Orario, resting on a small, run-down church in a forgotten corner of the city.
She watched the white-haired boy, Bell Cranel, standing outside with his perpetually flustered little goddess.
"Bell Cranel," she murmured, the name sounding like a breath of expensive perfume. She had noticed him before, of course, a soul of pristine, dazzling white, the purest soul she had ever seen. He was beautiful to her divine eyes, a perfect vessel of innocence and heroic ambition.
Yet, lately, there was a new, fascinating layer to his brilliance.
She watched as he prepared to attempt a new spell. He closed his eyes, and instead of the pure white light she expected, a vibrant, chaotic green essence seemed to pulse beneath his skin, an essence of Nature more potent than she had ever felt from any god.
Wood Release.
With a surge of mana, an enormous, blossoming cherry tree erupted from the desolate earth. It was fleeting, collapsing moments later from the massive energy cost, but the sheer, raw power was staggering.
Freya's golden eyes widened, a slow, predatory smile spreading across her face.
"That child..." she whispered, tapping a finger on her glass. "He possesses a light that is untainted, yet his core is a nexus of absolute chaos. His abilities clash, tearing him apart only to rebuild him stronger."
Loki’s recent complaints about the boy came to mind, the automaton golem, the Minotaur on the fifth floor, the sheer, staggering luck of his finds.
She took a slow sip of her wine. "I’m afraid, Ottar," she said, her voice dripping with satisfied hunger, "that my old favorite toy, Ais Wallenstein, is beginning to look rather dull. It seems a new centerpiece is required for my collection."
Her smile deepened, the expression of a goddess who had found a new, perfect obsession. "Bell Cranel. You are mine now."

Well that was a lot… And He gained quite a bout from the Gacha. … He really needs to get to Micah Familia soon.
Dark: That is if he’s not getting screwed by either Freya who has now caught his attention or possibly others that are slowly starting to notice Bell’s fame.
True… Still, they need help, and they are one of the few good Familias. Which the City severely needs.
Bell: “True. If anything… I could use the allies.”
Dark: Then might as well get more Familiars, the more he has the better he can be safe from those Gods who want him and Goddess that…………….. well I don’t need to say anything cause they might do something that's like Ishtar.
Bell: (Shivers) “Why does that name fill me with dread…?”
Don’t ask…
Dark: You don’t wanna know. Trust us.
Bell: (Gulps) “R-Right.”
Anyways, we hope you all enjoyed the story, and hope you leave a like, follow, fave, watch, star, kudo comment, anything you need to do depending on where you read this. And check out Dark’s stories as well.

Dark: You can take a guess. We all know who it will be. Anyways see you all guys next time!
Bell: “See ya.”
