Monday 2:47
”so what made you decide to work at a museum??” Said Sakura as she was restocking the stuffed animals for the gift shop. She had a variety of dinosaur stuffed animals. She picked up a long necked one and put it on the shelf with the rest of them, grunting to bend over and pickup more from the box
Sasuke was leaning against a shorter shelf using his arm to support his weight. Watching as Sakura restocked the toy dinosaurs, the gift shop had a low blue glow all around. With the faint smell of plastic or maybe silicone with kids and parents bustling around the shop.
sasuke always like the ocean and aquatic animals since itachi took him to the local aquarium back in New York where his family lived, he remembers itachi talking about how humans have only discovered about 5% of the ocean. Ever since that day Sasuke had been studying aquatic creatures and hoping to make a scientific discovery of a new species or animal. But ever since his father found out about his love for aquatic creatures and not the family business he wasn’t happy more like an angry tantrum that his son that was supposed to take over the family business was wanting to pursue his desired career which ended in Sasuke moving out and giving the middle finger to his father. So Sasuke moved out to colorado since it was cheap housing and had a fairly decent aquarium in Denver. But to Sasuke suprise they weren’t hiring so Sasuke made the move to the museum of nature and science which didn’t have an aquarium but had aquatic related activities so that was enough for him.
”just always liked fact related stuff” said Sasuke as he shifted his weight on the shorter shelf watching the contents of said shelf rattle with the unexpected shift of weight. He watched the pink hair girl put up the last few toys on the shelf before sighing and looking up at the black haired boy.
“You sure there’s nothing else to it?? I need someone else’s life gossip besides Ino’s and temari’s.” She says and she picks up the empty box once containing stuff animals of prehistoric age.
sasuke forgot there would be other people working at the museum. So he guessed the people Sakura spoke of were her co-workers.
”well if there is really nothing else I’ll just die of boredom of this place” Sakura sighs as she gives Sasuke the most non convincing puppy eyes he has ever seen.
as Sakura realized her attempts at trying to pry into Sasukes life was a failed attempt, she looks up at the clock behind Sasuke where it was just visible enough for Sakura to see it.
“Oh well I should let you get back to your shift!” Says Sakura as she carefully folds the once full box. “And good luck with Naruto if you run into him he will yap your ear off to in a oblivion about dinosaurs” she gives a bright smile and starts to walk past Sasuke and give him a hearty pat on the shoulder.
sasuke wasn’t really given much notice of what to do and how to do it so he was left alone with the stuffed animals of long necked dinosaurs and random toys that someone’s kid is going to throw a tantrum over.
sasuke looks around the gift shop one more time before turning around and heading for the exit hoping to find his way back to his designated exhibit.

Sasuke finally found his way back to his exhibit after wondering around the entire museum just to find the aquatic exhibit, but Sasuke did not know what to do Sakura just gave him a tour of the place and said “good luck!” which Sasuke was only grateful for the tour of the museum,
the aquatic exhibit of the museum had a low dark navy blue glow with the occasional black light to make it seem like the deep end of a pool at night. Kids were busting around with their feet looking and touching everything in their line of sight. There were grownups chatting with other grownups laughing and talking.
“Um excuse me? Sorry to bother you but my kid has wondered off and I don’t know where he is could you help me find him??” Said a man who strangely looked like he worked for the government which Sasuke was a little suspicious of but didn’t question.
great just great first day of work and someone already lost their kid just sasukes luck, sakura didn’t give him any protocol about stupid parents losing their numbnut kids. So Sasuke was completely fucked
Sasuke atleast had to look like what he knew what he was doing so he pulled out his phone and started to type to someone that god only knows who. yeah nice one you look like a dick now.
”what’s the kids name?”
“Konohamaru”
long ass name for a kid but alright Sasuke thinks as he types into the imaginary notepad pretending like he knows what he’s doing
“is there a place in the museum he takes a liking to that he might want to go there??”said Sasuke as he looks up at the man.
“uh he really liked the dinosaur exhibit. We were there for like an hour”
out of all places it had to be the dinosaur exhibit. Fucking great
sasuke sighed as he heard the dreaded words of the suspicious man
“I’ll go check the dinosaur exhibit and confirm with the people there to see if they have seen your kid.”Sasuke said with a slight tone of disbelief and dread that he had to see the very not attractive blonde man in the dinosaur exhibit.
sasuke started walking towards the exit of the aquatic exhibit hoping he won’t see the blonde nerd.
“pterodactyls are NOT real!!!” Is what Sasuke heard while walking around the dinosaur exhibit. The exhibit was a low light display with the bones of prehistoric creatures and some pictures of dinosaurs Sasuke couldn’t name, Sasuke looks toward where he heard the shouting and sees Naruto bickering with a little kid. Right in front of looks like a flying dinosaur,
”PTERODACTYLS ARE REAL YOUR JUST STUPID!” Said the kid as he turned around to which his back was facing Naruto. He stuck out his chin and made a pouting face.
“The first ever pterosaur discovered was a pterodactylus which is the CORRECT TERM!!” Said the blonde as he waved his hands at the kid as the kid still had his back turned to Naruto.
sasuke sighed thinking its a kid for gods sake he doesn’t know that,
sasuke started to walk to Naruto hoping he will at least corporate with him.
naruto took a quick glance at Sasuke not realizing it was Sasuke. He took another look and patted the kid on the shoulder as Sasuke made his way over to the other people.
When Sasuke finally reached his destination. There was a long pause before Sasuke started speaking “have you found a lost kid named konohamaru? Someone lost him from the aquatic exhibit.” a long beat stretched between the three before Naruto looked at the kid beside him and started shouting
“you told me your uncle knew you were here konohamaru!!!” Naruto shouted at the kid
“well I TOLD him but he is freakin deaf!” Said the suspected “konohamaru”
it puzzled Sasuke because when did Naruto personally know a kid just in what Sasuke estimated is 2 hours. So Sasuke gave a quizzical look between the two.
”well konohamaru go get your uncle he’s probably already calling 911 because you didn’t tell him you were with me.” Naruto sighed as he ruffled the brown hair of the young boy. naruto looked up at Sasuke and flashed a smile at him which Sasuke totally didn’t fall inlove with the second it blinded him.
as the boy and Naruto were bickering a person behind Sasuke bumped into Sasuke which the black haired man tripped forward onto Naruto. Naruto successfully leaned against the railing infront of the flying pterosaur. Sasuke took a deep breath to regain the loss of breath from the fall. But to Sasuke the blonde boy smelled of lemon laundry detergent and oddly Ramen? Which puzzled Sasuke because how could someone smell like ramen?
Naruto was holding Sasuke while Sasuke held onto Naruto Sasuke turned into a beet of red as Naruto didn’t let go and was in a state of shock
a long quiet pause was heard between the 3 people. Until shouting was heard
”can you guys stop making out infront of me it’s gross!” Said konohamaru as he did a vomiting gesture
that seemed to rip Naruto out of his trance and finally let Sasuke go to which Sasuke deeply appreciated and Sasuke stepped back a little to quickly then necessary,
” WE WERENT MAKING OUT YOU DELINQUENT!” Naruto shouts as he looks at konohamaru in a fit of rage playfully
“sorry about him he can be a little shit sometimes.” Said the blonde as he playfully punched konohamarus shoulder
” so is this the kid that is lost or am I supposed to get Sakura?” Sasuke speaks as he crosses his arms and looks at the blonde.
”oh no it’s alright! I can take the little shit to his uncle.” As he starts shoving konohamaru towards the exit as the boy tries to escape from his prison of Naruto’s hands “ I got it all covered! No worries sasuke!” Naruto shouts as he walks further away from Sasuke.
sasuke sighs as he makes his way toward the aquatic exhibit
but as Sasuke is walking himself out he thinks to himself.
“he is so stupid.”
as he walks out with a beat of red on his face
