Chapter Text
Chapter seven alternate version : arts and crafts night.
After he got home from the principal's office the rest of his day was spent on his school computer doing “home work” (Peter ended up finishing his school work for the rest of the week.)
“Peter Mister Stark has requested that you come to the living room.” Friday says, interrupting Peter's reading.
“Uh ok tell him ill be there in a sec.” Peter responds, Peter freaks out internally as he steps down from his bed.

“Friday told me you asked for me?” Peter says stepping up behind Tony silently
Tony jumps in his seat "Jesus kid how quiet can you walk?” he says obviously startled
“Oh uh I can try to walk louder? If that helps.” Peter says shifting nervously, the group looks confused at that and a few of them laugh.
“Nah it's fine, anyways it's crafts night and there's some pizza on the table for dinner.” Tony responds, pointing at the table.
“Arts and crafts night?” Peter questions sitting down on a chair off to the side.
“It helps boost team morale and is great for bonding!” vision exclaims.
Peter looks around noticing that half the team is missing. “Where are the others?” he asks.
Steve looks to the side as if he hadn't noticed “oh yeah some of our team is on missions or at their own homes.” he responds
“Actually now that you mention it, where is Loki?” Bruce points out “he just started joining our craft nights after months of pestering.” he adds in a slightly disappointed tone.
“He is at his place of employment currently.” vision answers
Bruce makes a sound of acknowledgement “oh yeah i forgot about that, it was called the, uh TVA right?” he asks.
Vision just nods in response. Peter looks at the table that is now covered in different craft supplies and notices some fabric and different colors of thread.
“Hey Peter, I didn't know you could sew.” Wanda says as Peter picks up the fabric and thread.
“Yeah when i was in foster homes the foster parents didn't usually have enough money to buy the kids new clothes so i would just sew some other kids and my clothes up.” Peter is happy to mention why he learned the skill, but his mood suddenly changes when he notices the looks on their faces. “Did I say something wrong?” he thinks.
“If I'm correct, foster parents are paid four-hundred dollars a month that should cover the cost of new clothing.” vision says.
“Well yes but you have to take into account school, food, transportation, and other basic living costs, besides I like sewing so it was such a big deal.” Peter retorts, making an obvious effort to end the conversation.
After a few minutes of silence Natasha speaks up “Peter, i have a question.” she pauses and waits as he nods his head before speaking “why were you suspended over something so small?” she questions.
Peter sighs knowing he's going to have to explain why a very old rule was created "basically there's a rule that if you throw food of any kind its an instant suspension because a while back, like twenty or so years ago someone caused food fights five days in a row and each one got progressively worse, the school board made the rule so that the kid would stop.” Peter explains poking the needle through the fabric repeatedly.
Suddenly half the room bursts into soft laughter “you can't be serious I've got to meet the kid who did that!” Sam exclaims.
For the rest of the night everyone joked and ate pizza and did crafts (some of them doing horribly , specifically Steve who kept poking himself with the needle.) until steve and bucky started bickering
“No, the kid from the story sounds like he could be Sean's kid, not Sam's." Steve argues
“Wait no he could totally be Jorge and susans kid.” bucky responds
Peter looks over at Tony beyond confused “they’re old friends of theirs from before they were frozen.” Tony says noticing Peter's confusion.
“Frozen, Like the movie?” Peter responds, causing Sam to howl in laughter.
