Chapter Text
Heeeeeey…
So it’s been a minute…
Firstly, sorry for ghosting this site. I never really knew how to give an update that wouldn’t just string y’all along. But it’s been way too long a stretch of dead silence from my end.
The good news:
I never dropped Caught and Released/Ambassador to Satri completely. I’ve been trying to get them all nice and edited and ready for public consumption. I want to freshen up the chapters I have and then, with the adjustments I made, continue on writing new chapters that are consistent with the newly edited ones.
I also have a beta reader now! She is a friend of mine that is helping me for free and I am very grateful to have her support. Her suggestions have really helped me flesh out the characters and write more accurately about medical stuff.
As soon as I’ve finished editing the previous chapters and have a new one or two, I will start posting them on a weekly basis. I’m still deciding if I’m just going to post a new work and delete the old ones or edit what already exists, but I’m only going to start updating when I know I can do it on a schedule and not leave y’all hanging again.
The bad news:
I have no idea how long it’s going to be until I start releasing the edited/new chapters. My beta reader is a nursing student and is therefore very busy. I write when I’m able but the motivation and inspiration has come in several short bursts over the years.
But I’m not quitting yet. I’ve thought about these stories and all of you waiting almost every day. Your comments and support over the silly things I write have given me so much joy. People caring about these enough to notice it stopped and ask for updates has filled me with determination (and a little guilt) to keep writing. As long as Ambassador to Satri says it’s incomplete, I have not quit it. It’s probably going to be a while, but I wanted y’all to know I haven’t forgotten about you. Thank you all so much for your support!
