Chapter Text
When I wake up I’m still on the stupid cold floor.
I take my time getting up this time and notice the giant machine in the room. The only thing in the room besides a bunch of other Monsters.
The only way out is some stairs on the other side of the room. The only way to get to it would be to trample over all these skeletons.
Now that I get a closer look they look familiar for some reason.
There are about five other people in here and all of them are passed out.
I hear yelling coming from the door upstairs and I quickly lay back down and pretend to be asleep.
I hear shifting of clothes. Looks like the other people down here are finally up. well more like sounds.
”Boss.” One says.
I feel his steps as he moves closer to me.
”What do you want, Dust.” A deep guttural voice says and I hear what sounds like slime hitting the floor.
“dumbasses, get up.” The same voice commands.
I hear another voice groan but it sounds like they haven’t drank water or spoken in days. Another one growls with this weird voice and the last sounds somewhat like Sans.
I feel the rumble of someone stumbling their way down the steps.
“Nightmare.” A new voice says, sounding like they are holding their breath.
“Dream.” ‘Nightmare’ growls and I feel the malice in his voice.
I groan and curl up into a ball on my side. Bringing the attention to me.
I feel someone poke me and I roll over and stare into his sockets that are leaking a black liquid.
”Hi.” I say my voice cracking.
”What Papyrus are you?” He asks with a head tilt confusing me.
”Killer.” Nightmare warns.
I suddenly get hit with a group of memories and sit up.
”Agh, my head.” I groan holding my head.
The memories are all about this group but why? I’ve never met them.
Then it suddenly hits me. My other life.
”Who are you guys? And where is Sans?” I ask, looking around at each and everyone.
”Ohhh, you don’t know about the multiverse.” A guy behind me says making me jump.
”Muitiverse? Isn’t that what Sans uses to tell stories about?” I ask, rubbing my eyesockets.
I push myself up and almost fall forward but get grabbed by the guy behind me. I think his name was Ink?
”Eyep, I don’t remember you. You look like an underfell Papyrus. Are you an underfell Papyrus?” He asks, too excitedly for the situation.
“I, um, so the multiverse is real.” I try to look out of it.
I notice the one covered in dust hasn’t stopped looking at me once.
“Ink, can you give them a little room.” Dream asks, coming over but stops when the others tense.
”Okay!” He says and moves over to Dream.
The glitchy one rolls his eyes at him and leans against the wall next to him.
“Why did you kidnap us, Dream.” Nightmare asks somehow more hostile sounding then before.
”I didn’t.” He says, holding his hand up trying to calm him. Nightmares eyes just narrow at him.
”Explain… what is.. going on.” The guy with the caved in skull commands.
”Okay, okay, but let's just go upstairs. It’s easier to explain with more room.” He says and heads upstairs with Ink following him.
The others slowly start up the stairs. The one with the caved in skull walks over to me.
”Hi, I'm… Horror. You.. get used.. to the others… I’ll help.. explain what’s.. going on.” He says voice cracking and worrying me.
I nod and follow him up the stairs. The room we enter is a living room and There’s four other skeletons. Two of them look like versions of me.
One of the me’s sets down a plate of spaghetti and turns and sees me.
”Look Sans there’s another another me!” He shouts, causing me to cringe at the volume.
He looks like the original Papyrus, with his battle body and all.
“Yeah, sure is a Skeleton of us.” He says with a nod causing a giggle out of a few of us.
He’s the original San for sure.
”Sans!” He yells.
”So what’s your name?” The other me in the orange jacket asks, causing me to jump.
He’s underswap Papyrus for sure.
”I-I, you can just, um, call me Loki?” I stutter over my words.
”hm.” He hums puffing his cigarette and goes back to sitting down.
I back away from him and almost tumble down the stairs. I grab the doorway and steady myself.
Dream and Ink are both sitting while the bad guys Sanses just stands behind the couches.
“Come sit. This is going to take a while.” Classic says.
The only ones sitting down is me, Classic, Papyrus, Orange, Blue, Ink, and Dream.
I sit there awkwardly and look at the floor.
“So you know about the multiverse right and you put two and two together with how there are other you’s and your bother’s, right?” Classic asks and which I nod to.
“This is going to make this so much easier. Okay, Did everyone see the machine down there?” Everyone nods besides the ones that were already here.
”That machine has been bringing other versions of me and Papy here and not letting them leave. And yes that means portals. No, we don't know how to fix it.” Classic says cutting off both questions.
”We also have a new person here so everyone please introduce yourselves and don’t piss them off. Then we’ll get to ground rules. Okay?” Sans explains and the attention shifts to me.
A groan comes from one of the bad guy’s and Error rolls his eyes.
“Also you can just call me Original or Classic while you're here.” Sans then shifts into a laying position on the couch. And before anyone can start introducing themselves, he’s snoring.
The first one to approach is Papyrus and he’s about how’d you expect him to be. Tall, lanky, proud, in need of an ego boost, nice.
”Hi, New friend, I’m Papyrus. You probably already knew that. Hmm.” He rests his hand on his chin trying to figure out what to say.
”Oh, Hello!” A new voice startles me and I turn to see Blue.
”I’m Blue, nice to meet you!” He shouts, holding his hand out for me to shake.
”Nice to meet you too. You can call me Loki.” I hum and shake his hand before quickly letting go.
Blue shakes his hand and asks confused, “You have some sweaty hands?”
”Blue! Don’t be rude to the new quest.” Papyrus chides with his hands on his hips.
”Oh, sorry. Did I make you uncomfortable?” Blue apologizes with a concerned face.
I quickly dismantled his worries, “NO, I mean no, It’s fine.”
“You know what I’m just going to go, yeah, yeah. I’m going to go.” I say backing out of the conversation.
Slipping away from them, I head towards Classic and stop right in front of him. Like sensing my presence he opens a eye and raises an eyebrow at me.
“Um… So where are we staying? Just asking because I wanna get settled. It’s not that big of a deal I just-!” I wave my hand in front of me as if I was doing jazz hands.
”Yeah yeah I get that. You’re gonna be staying upstairs all the way at the end of the hallway on the left. Everything must be a lot right now so just go. Just don’t throw your tailbone out over it.” He jokes with halflidded eyes and a lazy smile.
I give a polite smile and a nod and head upstairs.
When I reach the top of the stairs I see that It’s a living room and that there are two hallways, one to my left, and the other to my right.
Which way did Sans say to go?
Meh, It’ll probably be fine.
I turn to the right and start making my way down the hallway. At the end is a room. It’s probably mine. Probably.
I turn the lights on and hop into the bed oblivious to the plate on the door that has hurried scribbles on it saying Horror due to Blue trying to be welcoming even if they are villains.
