Searing, white-hot agony pierced his chest. His breath hitched, then failed as black tendrils burst through his sockets, dimming his vision until only the full moon remained.
The appendages unfurled—flailing in a grotesque imitation of Lewisia blooming in spring. In the back of his mind, the Tree of Feelings he’d once tended began to wither. Dream was only a blur at the sidelines, frozen in terror.
Nightmare’s head tipped toward the moonlit sky—somber, silent. And in that suspended moment before the end, he wondered:
Was it the same in every universe?

His ribs split with a wet crack. Tendrils tore through bone and cloth, each shove a cruel violation. Ichor spilled from his lips as more pushed through his mouth. Unable to speak, his fading gaze darted to the figure running toward him.
Her screams reached him through the blur.
She’d wanted to tell him something that day.

Her eyes met his—eyes that once held such unguarded love.
She ran faster toward his swaying, dying form. Pain tore through her legs, fire burned in her lungs, but she didn’t stop.

A latent piece of suppressed negative energy from the original DreamTale Tree manifests as the Shattered Garden, an unstable reality shard that poses a systemic threat to the Multiverse. The Garden is violently rewriting existence by randomly merging and swapping the memories, powers, and moral alignments of anyone it touches. The Empireverse brothers, Empire and Lord, are the first to detect this critical "breach in the foundational code" and attempt to mobilize their forces for containment. Their planning is cut short when the Shattered Garden suddenly unleashes a psychic shockwave, accelerating its expansion and actively drawing the DreamTale brothers and sisters into the chaos, signaling the start of the adventure.

These are a series of short stories with variants of Sans from different AUs I feel like writing for. I will update the rating overtime and label when chapters are Explicit.
Reader is Gender Neutral and will not be named(will be referred to as Y/n rarely). I will NEVER describe the Reader or their appearance, there may be times where I have the reader wear clothing and describe it, but it will not be very often so you are free to imagine any outfit in these scenarios that fit with the setting. For certain Sans AUs, I may make you shorter or taller based off my own headcanons for how tall characters are, but that is as far as it will be. For Oneshots with sex or similar stuff, gender neutral terms and compliments will remain as well, but I will write separate sections for those that have either parts.

The Serif household has been through many odd scenarios. After all, they are entirely comprised of other versions of the same two skeletons who got stuck in the world they have called home for six years, unable to return to their worlds and thus forced to carve out a life for themselves until further notice. All things considered, they found their stride and adapted to the ongoing weirdness of universe hopping.
That is, until she arrived. Flora, a woman so out of left field and disrupting their normality, appeared in the basement, battered and bloodied to hell and back. Stuck like all the others who had appeared before her, the Serif household is forced to accommodate her until she stabilizes, slowly beginning to get to know the lackluster and stone-faced woman who ensures they don't injure themselves via stupid means.
Few expect her to open up. Fewer expect her to accept becoming friends.
None expect for any of them to become much, much more.

Summary
This little skele, a Sans type, is used to taking on whatever title was expected of him. So when the entire multiverse tells him he is a 'Bad Sans' who can really blame him for joining others who fall under this title. That is as long as Nightmare finds him useful. His past titles have left him with a very limited set of skills, knowledge, and expectation. Yet he is willing to give up so much more just to stay.
First chapter is NSFW, and then there aren't going to be much until maybe in the future. Plenty of triggers so please tread carefully, I am not used to posting for others to read.
