Chapter Text
It was easy for Ni-ki to tell Hann what had happened with Sunoo. It was their routine, he had grown used to it, but for some reason it also felt wrong. Ni-ki had made his choice, yes a small part of him loved Sunoo but that didn’t matter anymore. He has Hann. But why did it feel so off telling him? He got to the part where Sunoo asked him to think and Hann had a weird look on his face.“And what did you tell him?” he asked.
“Nothing? He left and I texted you. You don’t seriously think that I’d consider this, after everything.” Hann was silent in response. “I’m not considering this!”
“...Then why didn’t you tell him that? That you aren’t interested?”
“I did! I told you exactly what I said!”
“You asked what he wanted you to say…”
Ni-ki was growing frustrated, “Is that telling him I am not interested? Due to our relationship?”
The next words out of Hann’s mouth left him speechless, “Are you genuinely not interested or are you not interested due to our relationship?” This was so unlike him. Hann was never so forward, and Ni-ki didn’t know what to say. Sure, if he and Hann were not dating he might consider dating Sunoo but that doesn’t mean he wants to break up with Hann.
“Answer me honestly…” Ni-ki grew nervous for the impending question, “Do you still love him?”
“I love you!”
“I know that, but do you love him?”
“Does it matter!?”
“Yes.”
This wasn’t how this was supposed to go. Hann was supposed to be the typically level headed, supportive boyfriend he usually was. Instead he seemed angry and oddly satisfied.
“I love you, Riki. I really do, but I think that it would be best if-” Ni-ki’s heart sank, no! This isn’t what he wanted.
“Stop! Are you breaking up with me!? Over someone else’s feelings?”
“No Riki, over mine. I have the opportunity to study overseas, I think I’m going to take it. I love you so much, and I will keep loving you no matter where I am. You have to know that. The thing is, it was always going to be you and Sunoo. From the day we first kissed, I knew how this relationship would end. It is okay to have feelings for him Riki, go chase the love of your life. Keep pursuing your passions, be brave. I love you, but I think it would be best, for us both, if we end this relationship now.” Hann still had that weird look on his face, almost like he was at peace but at the same time he was crying.
“I’m so sorry. I love you, I truly do. I just also love him.” Ni-ki cried.
The two boys hugged and cried and hugged some more. Until finally they separated and for the first time in months, Ni-ki walked himself home. He knew what this meant, he had to tell Sunoo one final truth.

“Hyung, can we talk?”
The pair took a long walk in silence. It wasn’t until they were overlooking the Han river that Ni-ki could speak again.
”I love you.”
They kissed. And everything in the world felt right.

Hann was finally getting settled in his new dorm. His mom and sister had just left and his roommate was out with some friends. Living somewhere new would definitely take some getting used to. He decides to take a walk, he walks for quite a while before deciding to cross the River Thames where he stops and sees a boy. He appears to be about his age, preparing to jump into the river.
“Wait!” he calls out to the boy on the bridge, “Let me help you.”
