Summary
This was not the first time the older man had tried this, Ni-ki reminded himself. It had been a few months ago, back when the whole thing had started. He’d been practicing late and had told the older members he’d be back before it got too late. The man had offered him a ride, he mistakenly accepted. The elder had leaned in that night, at the time Ni-ki hadn’t noticed. It turns out he should have known better.
